Food Borne Disease can be defined as any disease usually either infectious or toxic in nature caused by agents that enter the body through ingestion of food. A local incident can quickly become an international emergency due to the speed and range of product distribution, impacting health, international relations and trade. This study aims to analyse the level of knowledge of Food Safety Officers in food hygiene and their practices to control foodborne diseases. The research sample consists of 25 FSOs. The data were collected using a questionnaire. The data were analysed using SPSS 21.0 for windows. One way ANOVA test was done to compare the knowledge regarding food safety and hygiene of the respondents with their educational level. The average score regarding the knowledge was high among the respondents having MSc and least among BVSc holders. 44% of the respondents had a knowledge score of <5 in food safety and hygiene and only 8% secured a score of 9. The mean value of the knowledge score is 5.72 with a standard deviation of 2.092. The lowest score for the respondents practice was 22 and 40% of the respondents score lies in between 29 and 39, and only 8% had a score greater than49. The mean value of the score was 40.80 with a standard deviation of 6.245.

At this point, we put forward an elegant floor cleaning robot that allows for remote floor cleaning. The bot makes floor cleaning very trouble-free and a quick process by means of a wireless robotic cleaning system. The user may be seated at a place, set up a bot and clean wherever required. The structure consists of a transmitter app. This app is run in an android mobile phone that lets user broadcast commands based on user input. As per these commands, the transmitter sends movement commands to the robot. Then the transmitter is an android mobile phone that allows the user to transmit commands to the robot. The robot is having 2 cleaning pads with a water sprayer for well-organized cleaning. The robot has 2 motorized rotating clean-up scrubs for the cleaning part. On getting the movement commands from the android. On getting the movement commands from the android device all the way through Bluetooth receiver. Then the microcontroller on receiving the commands decodes them. Afterward operates the motors in order to pull off the desired motion. Still, the sprayer and cleaner system can be restricted by the android app user. This makes floor cleaning a very trouble-free, speedy and easy process.

There is a massive size of information present in the system of web pages on the web. So, when any user requests a query, a large volume of search outcomes having different web links matching to the user's query are produced. Out of produced results, only some are appropriate while the remaining are inappropriate. The search engines calculate the significance of a web page by page ranking algorithms. There are smart crawlers available which are automated scripts used for fetching data from the web and allowed to store in databases in pretty formatted manner. Later link is acknowledged and a tree like structures are observed which then defines a page or website strength on the web. This paper discusses determining and implementing different ways to increase the chance of finding a good listing. This will improve the understanding of the usage and its technique in a very practical manner. The search task is performed based on keyword research where popular words and phrases entered by the users in the search engine are used to identify the rank. This gives improved understanding of how high the demand is for certain keywords and how tough it would be to compete for those terms in the search results, contributing some direction to optimization efforts. This gives improved understanding of certain keywords demand and how tough it would be competing through these keywords in the search engine, providing certain ways in optimisation.

Human capital is a significant resource for the success of any organization. Further, human capital may be critical for generating long term shareholders value in service organization where human capital is the key differentiator among the firms. Researchers have developed various metrics to analyze the contribution of human capital in value creation by firms. Among those metrics, a few metrics are accounting based metrics and utilizes the financial information to assess the value added by human capital in an organization. The objective of the study is to (i) estimate the Human Capital Value Added (HCVA) by the sample of S&P BSE 100, BSE listed firms in India and (ii) explore the components of employee expenses for the sample firm. Based on the usable sample of 76 firms, grouped into twenty-nine industry and on the basis of data for the three financial year (FY 2016-17 to 18-19), the findings suggest that (i) on average HCVA by sample firms was ? 2.88 per employee(excluding outliers) and ? 7.80 including the sample firms; (ii) further, for half of the industry, growth in HCVA was positive for both the year with reference to the previous years, and (iii) the industry with positive growth in HCVA in the FY 2018-19 was significantly higher (72.41 % of total industry group) in comparison to FY 2017-18 (51.72 % of total industry group). Further, the study suggests that for the sample firms HCVA was highest for financial service activities (except insurance and pension funds) (n=1, HCVA =? 145.71) followed by land transport and transport via pipe line (n=1, HCVA =? 8.50) and lowest for manufacturing of wearing apparel (n=1, ? 0.33), followed by civil engineering (n= 1, ? 0.35).

In the present study, the attention was on employing the plant essential oil extracts, to be efficiently used as antioxidant and antibacterial agents with an ultimate objective of developing replacements for the synthetic chemical preservatives in foods. For this study, the essential oil was extracted from Cymbopogon citratus by hydrodistillation method using ethyl acetate. It has been reported that phenolics and flavonoids are important indicators of antioxidant capacity which plays a vital role in improving food quality and preservation. C.citratus oil have been proved to have antibacterial activity against the tested food spoilage pathogens and antioxidant activity, which is generally attributed to high phenolic and flavonoid compounds owned by this oil. The FT-IR spectrum of lemongrass essential oil showed the presence of functional groups like alkanes, amines, aldehydes, esters and lactones, phenols, anhydride, alcohols, imine / oxime, nitro compounds and organic halogen compounds which prove to exhibit medicinal properties. The study was also extended to find the anticancer ability of C.citratus oil against breast cancer MCF 7 cell line. The preservation study was carried out on easily perishable food like Indian anchovy fish (Stolephorus indicus) with a focus for maintenance of quality and prolong shelf life. The results indicate that C.citratus oil treated fish sample stored on ice remained fresh for 7 days and hence could be used as natural preservative thus replace or partly replace the synthetic food preservatives.

The Organic food market is ever increasing. The awareness about the benefits of organic food consumption is already high and after looking at the current incidences of harm to human life because of consumption of unhealthy food products, it is only expected to increase. The demand for organic consumables market has a CAGR of 9% (Wood, 2019). The global organic food and beverages market expected to reach $327,600 million by 2022 from $115,984 million in 2015 (Dwivedi, 2016). The research problem is to study the consumer perception towards organic food products in Western Mumbai. The study was undertaken with the objective to study the motivations, barriers, awareness levels and demographic characteristics of our study population w.r.t. organic food products. 318 respondents were a part of this study whose answers were asked for through a structured questionnaire. It was majorly found out that there is tremendous demand for organic food products but there are gaps in terms of awareness (about organic food products amongst the consumers) and faith (in the claims which are made by organic food marketers). Organic food consumers are motivated to consume it because they want to make sure that their food plate is nutritious and safe. Price has little effect on the existing organic food consumers where as others are aware about its benefits but are not willing to shell out extra money for consuming organic. This also justifies why the biggest barrier amongst non-organic food consumers is high cost. Thus our recommendation to organic food marketers would be to identify two segments of the market: One being the existing one and other being the potential one, and devise strategies to suit their needs individually.
