This study investigates the effectiveness of warehousing and transportation in modern supply chain management. Efficient warehousing and transportation are crucial components for businesses aiming to achieve competitive advantage through streamlined operations and enhanced customer satisfaction. The research employs a mixed-method approach, integrating qualitative analysis of industry practices and quantitative assessment of key performance indicators. Findings reveal that optimized warehousing strategies, including inventory management techniques and layout design, significantly impact operational efficiency and cost reduction. Similarly, the adoption of advanced transportation technologies, such as route optimization and real-time tracking systems, enhances responsiveness and reliability in product delivery. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of synergy between warehousing and transportation functions for achieving overall supply chain effectiveness. Practical implications and recommendations for practitioners are discussed, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement and integration of innovative solutions to adapt to dynamic market demands.

social behaviour. Sigmund Freud's three psychic zones--the id, the ego and the superego--are well evident in this select work. The id is the primary source of psychic energy and it helps one to fulfill their desires and the basic needs. It is more oriented towards pleasure without bothering about the social order. Hariharan has expressed this mentality of people in a number of places in her select works. These attributes are deeply fostered and rooted from the family and society in which he or she lives in and where most of his or her major contribution are attributed to. The more, one tends to understand the reason behind one's role in a family and society, the more he or she senses the logic behind his or her desires whether it brings bliss or isolation. Human being's individualistic identity and personality are decided by his or her psyche and social behaviour. This research aims to analyze the resilience of the State Bank of India (SBI) amidst the various market shocks from 2007 to 2022. SBI is not just the largest public sector bank, but also the largest bank in India in terms of asset size. The total assets of SBI stand at Rs.55,16,979 crore as of 2023. This study has equipped a graphical analysis, using the GDP of India to identify the market shocks and the Net Interest Margin of SBI to analyze the bank's performance. The market shocks identified include the Global Financial Crisis, NPA crisis, demonetization, IL&FS crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. Various interventions adopted by the bank to overcome these market shocks have been navigated. These interventions include compliance adjustments, restructuring schemes and policies, and fiscal packages among others. Lastly, an attempt has been made to suggest ways to deal with such situations in the future.

Insecticides play a critical role in controlling the spread of insect-borne diseases and preserving crop health. These chemical substances are specifically formulated to kill or manage insect populations. Over the years, various types of insecticides have been developed, including organophosphates, carbamates, pyrethroids, and neonicotinoids, each with unique modes of action, physiological targets, and efficacy. Despite the advantages that insecticides offer, it is imperative to recognize the potential consequences on non-target species, the environment, and human health. It is therefore crucial to follow recommended label instructions and employ integrated pest management practices for the judicious use of insecticides. This review article provides an in-depth examination of the various types of insecticides, including their modes of action, physiological targets, environmental and human health impacts, and alternatives. The aim is to furnish a comprehensive overview of insecticides and to emphasize the significance of responsible and sustainable utilization.

The medicinal plants play an important role in the management of diseases. In India, almost 45,000 plant species are growing naturally and being cultivated. Dependence on plants as the source of medicine is prevalent in developing countries where traditional medicine plays a major role in health care. The rural population of a country is more disposed to traditional treatments because of their easy availability and lower cost. Herbal therapy, although still an unwritten science, is well established in some cultures and traditions and has become a way of life for almost 80% of the people in rural areas, especially those in Asia According to the present study, we conclude that plant medicines (Cissus quadrangularis and Cynadon dactylon) contain more than 15 chemical compounds and have a chance of showing better inhibitory activity when compared to the individual plants. Natural medicines have fewer or no side effects when compared to synthetic inhibitors. After comparing the results of this investigation with the synthetic inhibitor ?-amylase (acarbose) and the ?-glucosidase (ascorbic acid standard), we may infer that Cissus quadrangularis and Cynadon dactylon exhibit superior antidiabetic, antioxidant, and antifungal action.
