This Project is design and fabrication of an electric arc welding machine from locally made materials. The major components employed in the construction of the electric arc welding machine are the transformer and digital voltmeter. The transformer used is a shell type transformer mounted on the casing bed with bolt and nut. The system was tested with varying numbers of turns and its voltage was recorded. The components were tested using a digital multi-meter (DMM) to ensure proper functioning of component's expected data. Results showed that the arc welding machine transform slow voltage, low amperage primary power into low voltage, high amperage power used for welding at high frequency. This high- frequency transformation helps to reduce the weight and size of the transformer.

Dementia is a neurological disorder characterized by a decline in cognitive function, affecting memory, thinking, and behaviour. Early detection of dementia is crucial for effective management and intervention. This paper proposes a machine learning approach for dementia detection using various cognitive and behavioural features derived from neuropsychological tests, neuroimaging data, and wearable devices. We present a comprehensive review of existing methodologies and datasets used in dementia detection research. Our proposed model employs a combination of supervised learning algorithms, including support vector machines, decision trees, and deep learning architectures, to classify individuals as either dementia or non-dementia. We evaluate the performance of our model on a large-scale dataset, achieving promising results in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. Furthermore, we discuss the potential implications and challenges of deploying such a model in clinical settings for early diagnosis and personalized treatment of dementia. Overall, our study demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of using machine learning techniques for dementia detection, paving the way for future advancements in this critical area of healthcare.

Dalit literature is the articulation of protest and anger against the injustice and social exclusion the Dalits are subjected to in the caste-ridden, hierarchical society of India. The Dalit authors and critics argue that it is this protest and anger, a new literary strategy which can build the aesthetics of Dalit literature. Dalit literature, however, is yet to form a conceptual standard on which the Dalits can represent and universalise their experience of pain. Many Dalit poets have attempted to build a distinctive aesthetics through poetry. But poetry essentially related to emotion seems inadequate to build a conceptual framework which is essentially an intellectual phenomenon. Though Dalit writers resist the Sanskritised aesthetics of mainstream literature by using their own language, registers and idioms, they nonetheless partake of the mainstream aesthetics when they articulate themselves in poetry. Gopal Guru (2012) claims, "Poetry helps the Dalit in making connections through metaphors but not through concepts" (p. 23). My paper, however, will argue that as Dalit experience is at the centre of a distinct Dalit aesthetics, Dalit poetry based on rich experience can contribute to build a new aesthetics for Dalit literature. My paper will reference a number of Bengali Dalit poets whose poetry can serve to build a separate aesthetics through poetic rendering of their distinct Dalit experience, conforming at the same time to many principles of mainstream aesthetics.

Precise estimation of solar radiation required for a continuous flow of electrical power has always been a challenging undertaking, in the domains of artificial intelligence and physical simulation. Power grid operators would find it simpler to take preventative measures ahead of time to guarantee failsafe outcomes during instances of abrupt or cascading drops in solar energy if solar irradiance could be predicted with extremely high precision. This paper used historical meteorological data from two consecutive years to forecast hourly solar irradiance of Johannesburg city using three machine learning techniques. The objective was to develop a model that could easily make use of historical meteorological data in order to forecast extremely precise hourly solar irradiance data. According to the results, Random Forest using normalized root mean square.

Introduction: Amidst the global crisis, utility workers played a pivotal role in upholding hygiene standards within educational institutions, contributing to a safe learning environment. Utility worker's dedication and hard work helped in reducing the spread of diseases and viral transmissions and ensuring the well-being of the school community during a difficult time. These duty-bound employees sacrifice their own comfort, safety, family welfare, and social inclusion to provide essential services despite the language barrier and their adjustments to new workplaces and jobs. Methodology: The study, employing a qualitative phenomenological research design, explored the experiences of ten utility workers during the global health crisis. Particularly, it aimed to answer the central question; "What adjustments did the utility workers encounter when they started to work in PSD during the pandemic?" and the specific question; "How did the utility workers handle these adaptations?" Results: From their responses, gathered through a semi-structured interview, the researchers discovered four prominent factors: Control Segment, Adaptable Environment, Relevant Engagement, and Empowerment (CARE) - which are the core elements of the transformational experience that affected their adaptations at Philippine School Doha. Discussions: The revelations shed light on the intricate hurdles encountered by the utility workers in that institution, offering pertinent lessons for future global events. This underscores the importance of fostering integration and ensuring the welfare of sanitation workers within educational institutions.

The objective of the present study was to prepare a topical film-forming gel for the treatment of acne containing Garlic, Ashwagandha and Turmeric extract, using a patient-friendly drug delivery method. The localized cure of disease of our body tissues requires that the pharmaceutical active ingredient to be maintained at the site of treatment for some period of time. Sweat, garments and actions are some of the problems that have limited the helpfulness and residence time of conventional topical formulations mainly used for treatment of acne. Common human skin disease is acne vulgaris which is characterized by areas of skin with seborrhea, comedones, nodules (large papules), and pimples and possibly scarring. Herbal formulations have been constantly growing and important in the world market. The present formulation deals with the preparation and development of the herbal film forming anti-acne gel containing hydroalcoholic extract of Garlic (Allium sativum L., Alliaceae), Ashwagandha (withania somnifera ) and Turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract which is known for its anti-oxidant, anti-microbial & anti-inflammatory property. Various formulation batches i.e. S1 to S4 were formulated & evaluated for different parameters like color, appearance, consistency, pH, spreadability, antimicrobial activity & in vitro drug release. The formulation S3 with maximum spreadability & antimicrobial activity was selected as the optimized formulation. Antimicrobial activity was compared with the marketed formulation.

It has been a long endeavor to find out how Emotional Intelligence ( EI ) and Perceived Symptoms of Social Phobia are related, which is an elusive topic in psychological research. According to Goleman , Emotional Intelligence is "the capacity to recognize, evaluate, and regulate one's own emotions as well as those of others and groups.". In general, the ability to recognize, comprehend, and regulate one's own emotions as well as those of others is referred to as emotional intelligence. A form of anxiety condition called social phobia, sometimes referred to as social anxiety disorder, is typified by a recurrent fear of social settings and a strong desire to avoid a stranger or an individual. Despite the apparent disconnect between the two, research points to a strong correlation between emotional intelligence and the perception of social anxiety symptoms in a person or an individual irrespective of gender, or age. That is why, the design of the study is to investigate the relationship between Emotional Intelligence ( EI ) and Perceived Symptoms of Social Phobia among Young Adults. The present study has used purposive sampling. A sample of adults between the ages group 19-45 has been taken residing in India. The Schutte Self-Report Emotional Intelligence Test (SSEIT) and Social Phobia Inventory Scale ( SPIN) have been the tools used in this study. It was established that there was a significant positive relationship between EI and Perceived symptoms of social phobia among young adults (at 0.01 value). There is also a significant positive relationship between EI and perceived social phobia symptoms in both males and females (at 0.01 value). It was also established that there was no major difference between Emotional Intelligence ( EI ) and Perceived Symptoms of Social Phobia among men and women. Also, EI significantly predicts perceived symptoms of social phobia among young adults (at 0.01 value).
