 Abstract

The high levels of uncertainty and complexity inherent in building projects make risk management essential. The purpose of this article is to summaries and analyze the relevant literature in order to present a broad overview of the current state of the art in risk management strategies for building projects. This article starts out with defining risk and elaborating on why it's so crucial to building projects that they be managed properly. It then moves on to talk about the many construction project risks, such as those that can arise from the project's technical, financial, legal, and environmental aspects. Risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring are only some of the processes and strategies that are discussed in this article as they relate to construction project management.

 Abstract

India is famous for its indigenous crafts in the world; it is also a centre of textile products, generating the maximum number of jobs after the agriculture industry. However, the Fashion and textile industry generates a lot of waste and add it to landfill. Using modern technology to combat these challenges is essential, but so is tapping into the wisdom of traditional practices and local knowledge based on ancestral communities. India has been using the concept of sustainability for many decades by recycling, reusing, or up-cycling garments and other textile products. Once a garment or fabric survives its function, it transforms into a new product, but with an artistic twist, such as saris/dhotis into blankets and textiles, and clothing into bags and other consumer products. Agra district of Uttar Pradesh is world-famous for its monuments, handicrafts & handloom. Among many, Durrie crafts is one of the popular crafts practised in a small town known as Fatehpur Sikri. Cluster is famous for producing two types of durries: Panja durries and Chindi durries. The Chindi durries named as the weft strips created by shredding cotton fabric, or leather strips termed chindi. A striking feature of the Durrie is warp cotton yarn, while the weft is unspun cotton (Chindi), giving Durrie a striped look. The Chindi durries are identifiable by their characteristic stripes in bold solid red, blue, green, and purple colours. The ethnography research approach has been followed for this study, researchers conducted field study in the cluster's location to understand the indigenous process of chindi durrie craft being followed and practiced by the artisans. It also involves the study of the tools and techniques used in the process based on primary and secondary data collected from the field, which further concludes with how this can helps in developing more varieties of products by using the Chindi craft and its future scope.  Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on the character of Pancasila students and their attitude toward religious moderation. The research method uses a quantitative approach. Data collection is done by questionnaire. Data analysis used the N-gain t-test, and conclusions were drawn. The results of this study are the effect of the project-based learning model on the character of Pancasila students and the attitude of religious moderation of students in the integrated Islamic elementary school Ash Shiddiiqi Jambi, namely that there is an influence of the PjBL learning model on the character of Pancasila students (0.0020 <0.05). The PjBL learning model also influences religious moderation (the significance value of the test is 0.03 and means <0.05). Meanwhile, based on the results of togetherness, it is also known that the PjBL learning model also influences the Pancasila character and attitudes toward religious moderation simultaneously (the significance value of the test is 0.02 and means <0.05). Thus the project-based learning model can be used as an alternative to improving the character of Pancasila students and religious moderation.

The paper uses a dataset of Bangalore's real estate properties to build a machine learning model that predicts the house prices based on various factors, such as the property's location, size, bathrooms, and amenities. The results of the study reveal that the model can predict the house prices with high accuracy, making it useful for property buyers, sellers, and real estate agents in Bangalore.

 Abstract

Self-Compacting Concrete is the new concept which is rebellion idea in the construction world that increases the usage of SCC all over the world . This SCC has more advantages when compared to traditional cement concrete in terms of giving high increment at productivity, reduction of labours and total expenses, gives good complete product having very good mechanical properties and durability of product. Those fibers are glass, carbon and basalt fibers , hence individual volume fraction of these fibers are taken as 0.0%,0.1%,0.15%,0.2%,0.25% ,0.3%. The project is categorised into two parts. Initial part contained the preparation of M30 grade SCC mix design and secondary part has various fibers like Carbon, Glass and Basalt Fibers were added to mixes of SCC and their hardened and fresh properties were calculated.

The significance of honeybees cannot be overstated as they have a pivotal role in pollinating plants, which results in the production of numerous crops. The pollination of plants and the growth of numerous crops are heavily reliant on honeybees, who have a critical function in this process. Bees are of immense importance in the realm of agriculture, owing to their role as vital pollinators for a wide range of plants. It is noteworthy that these contributions by honeybees significantly impact global agricultural output and have far-reaching implications on human sustenance worldwide.

Stress is any situation in which a non-specific demand requires- an-individual-to respond or act (Selye, 1976). It involves physiological and psychological responses. Stress can lead to negative or counterproductive feelings or threaten emotional wellbeing. Stress is different for different people, so it is important to address stress differently. We all face situations where we are so stressed out and feel so unbalanced that we tend to overlook all tasks that we know are important because we cannot manage a single thing. The reasons behind such issues are workplace stress. Working professionals carry this stress back to their family lives, where it starts affecting their behavior with family and friends. This article explains the impact of workplace stress on our lives. The simple trick is to maximize positive stress and reduce negative stress. For example, you are too busy to schedule one hour for exercise, so simply try taking stairs to your office instead of lift, if your office is near to your house try walking. Instead of treating things like they are adding more too your stressful life tries replacing it with things that soothes you.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on street vendors worldwide, with many experiencing significant financial losses and struggling to maintain their livelihoods. Lockdowns and other pandemic-related restrictions have resulted in decreased foot traffic and reduced sales for many street vendors, particularly those who operate in densely populated areas such as markets or public transportation hubs. Additionally, street vendors often face unique challenges related to accessing government support and financial assistance, which can make it difficult for them to recover from pandemic-related losses. In some cases, street vendors have been subject to harassment or eviction by local authorities in attempts to enforce social distancing measures, further exacerbating their economic insecurity. Overall, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the precariousness of street vendors' livelihoods and the need for greater support and recognition of their contributions to local economies.

 Abstract

In 1975, the Indian Government launched a comprehensive strategy to provide health care, nutrition, and education services to underprivileged communities in villages and urban slums through centers. Each center was managed by a local part-time female worker (anganwadi) with an assistant, who was compensated with an honorarium. The Integrated Child Development Services Scheme (ICDS) combines all essential services for enhanced childcare, early stimulation and learning, health and nutrition, water and environmental sanitation, targeting young children, expecting and nursing mothers, other women, and adolescent girls in a community. The scheme aims to enhance the nutritional and health status of children aged 0-6 years; decrease mortality rates, morbidity, malnutrition, and school dropout rates; ensure effective coordination among different departments to promote child development; establish a proper foundation for psychological, physical, and social development of children; and improve mothers' abilities to care for their children's health and nutritional needs. ICDS services are delivered through village-based centers called Anganwadi centers that provide supplementary nutrition, immunization, health check-ups, referral services, treatment for minor illnesses, nutrition and health education for women, preschool education for children, as well as support for water supply and sanitation. Numerous government departments collaborate at the village, block, district, state, and central levels to ensure efficient service delivery. Anganwadi workers represent the grassroots-level personnel responsible for implementing program services in their communities. ICDS has shown better outcomes in projects led by capable leaders. Although the program has some shortcomings that need addressing for future initiatives targeting disadvantaged populations improvement. To enhance ICDS efficiency further operational research in diverse areas has been proposed.
