Background: The study was conducted in a Chemical process shop engaged in electroplating operations. The studies were conducted in the Process Shop with varying plating operations. The hazards under study are alkali dust, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid mists, chromium, zinc fumes and ammonia vapour and studied in selected work stations. Process and engineering control measures were implemented after conducting Lean Six Sigma projects by production team. Another set of study was conducted with the same methodology after 12 15 months after the implementations of the Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Aim: This study was initiated to explore and assess the prevailing chemical work environmental factors / hazards in the plant as well as the distribution of these hazards in the plants before and after implementation of six sigma studies. It is to assess the work room air quality by static sampling before and after the implementations of the process and engineering measures by Lean Six Sigma studies and determine the effectiveness. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted with 15 samplings in each sub locations of the main processes like acid pickling zinc plating etc. About 50 workmen are engaged in these operations. Convenient sampling method was adopted to collect 15 static samples in each sub locations/processes in two different conditions. The work exposures were compared for compliance with the occupational standards and for the effectiveness of the implemented Lean Six Sigma measures in these operations. Statistical Analysis: Plant wise and operation-wise hazard distribution analysis was done on the compiled data. The data was analyzed by using the IBM-SPSS version-20 and the Mini-Tab Version-16 and the results were tabulated using p<0.05 as statistically significant. Paired t tests, Chi Square tests and Pearsons correlation were performed to establish the effectiveness. Results: The measured data on various chemical air borne factors were compared with the Threshold Limit Values. For all the measured hazards like dusts, mists, fumes and vapours under study in two different conditions, Correlation and association analysis were done and it is found to be at 5% level of significance and 95% confidence interval level. Conclusions and Implications: This study has demonstrated that the chemical air borne factors were varying based on the process, operational conditions and control mechanisms. It is concluded that there is a significant level of association (p<0.05) before and after the implemented Lean Six Sigma measures and it is found that the implemented Lean Six Sigma measures were found effective to mitigate the hazard exposures in the process plant.

Nigeria as a nation remained the theatre of armed communal conflicts which result in widespread destruction, thousands of deaths, and enormous property losses for several years. These violent conflicts are labeled ethno-religious because what we normally call religious conflicts here often has ethnic, political and economic undertones, while the so called ethnic conflict are complicated by religious, political considerations. The perennial occurrence of the problem does suggest the inadequacies of both the prevailing intellectual analysis and prognosis of the problem as well as the remedies proposed and tried so far. This require an adequate understanding of its root cause, the course it takes, the intervening variables, and the potential outcome of the complex series of events which go into its making. This paper is an attempt at providing such an explanation concerning the devastating consequences of the long period conflicts and crises of and also discusses various strategies that should be adopted by all relevant agencies and groups for a lasting peace in the country.

The phenomena of multiple drug resistance has led for the search of medicines from alternative sources, mainly those obtained from plants and hence termed as Phytochemicals. Although this search is challenging but this bioactive species serves mankind by providing an array of medicines along with overcoming the threats posed viz. drug resistance. Plants, during metabolism produce metabolites which may be primary (sugars and fats) and secondary (such as protective agents as well as bioactive compounds produced in response to stress and pathogens). In depth perusals of available studies reveal that Terpenoid contents in all the selected plants ranges between 40 to 60 %. Hence the forthcoming literature and study would be helpful in determining of therapeutic use of terpenoids, their isolation and use for the welfare of mankind.

: Life in twenty first century is very fast and sometimes unknowingly the rider starts the bike and move forward without pulling off the side stand because of urgency which may cause unavoidable accidents. To avoid such accidents cause due to the carelessness of rider , we may produce the new advancement in bike that as we press the gear lever, the cable wire get stretched due to the hook catch lock get de-locked to lift the side stand automatically. There is a need of prevent the rider in this type of condition, which arises many times, hence, it is important to create one mechanism, which prevents the rider from the accidents caused due to ungifted side stand. The mechanism should be such that it should neither affect the original mechanism nor create make the side stand more bulky. In additional it should not increase the price of the bike. It is just a small mechanism, which operate the stand and operation will be easy. Therefore, it is necessary to have a separate attachment in a bike to lift up the side stand automatically

It is the need of the hour to establish the role of Ayurveda in antenatal care, which is under national rural health programs. Human evolvement throughout the conception to adulthood is conjoined association, shaped within cells, of nature [the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) we inherit] and nurture (the comprehensive nutritional, social, and physical environment). The augmenting field of epigenetic has perception that environment and individual lifestyle can directly interact with genome to influence epigenetic transformation. Ayurveda sighted the urge for the physical, mental, and spiritual anticipation of the mother to be for the momentous event of childbirth and emphasis has been given on care of mother during antenatal period. Developing living being seems to have a wide range of perceptivity to epigenetic modulation. Befitting drift in epigenetic modifications is essential for embryogenesis, early foetal development, and early postnatal growth. Thereupon, the inappropriate endowment of epigenetic changes during critical developmental periods as a result of changes in maternal diet and other environmental components may induce paediatric developmental diseases and even influence health in adulthood. Garbha Samskara as explained in classical texts of Ayurveda involves the combination of Garbhadhan samskara (preparation of to be mother and father prior 3 months of conception), Pumsvana Samskara and Garbhini Paricharya (planned program of observation, education, lifestyle modification, nutritional and medical management of pregnant lady). By adopting the custom of Garbha Samskara, antenatal care along with epigenetic programming can be done in order to have a healthy progeny. Garbha Samskara may be considered as Ayurveda antenatal care and a novel preventive measure in the context of adverse epigenetic changes.

Abstract: According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Storm water management is the effort to reduce runoff of rainwater or melted snow into streets, lawns and other sites and the improvement of water quality. Storm water runoff from urban and suburban areas generates numerous pollutants. The areas include residential areas, parks, commercial areas, industrial areas and road or highways. Nowadays there is an increasing amount of everyday flood incidents around the world, the impact of which poses a challenge on the society, economy and environment. The goals of storm water management include protecting our environment; reducing flooding to protect people and property; reducing demand on public storm water drainage systems; supporting healthy streams and rivers; and creating healthier, more sustainable communities. In this project we are aiming to manage storm water effectively by providing appropriate storm water control measures (SCMs). Index Terms Storm water management, runoff, flood, rainwater, pollutants.

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is the most widely recognized malignant growth in youngsters and grown- ups. The identification of leukemia in the prior stage is significant before it spreads into the circulatory systems and other fundamental organs. For a considerable length of time, the finding of leukemia has been finished by experienced administrators and it is a tedious undertaking for pathologists. Programmed recognition of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia disease in tiny pictures is difficult because of the complicated structures. To handle this issue, a programmed and powerful indicative framework is required for early identification and treatment. Right now, machine learning-based implementation of Transfer learning for classification is proposed to recognize leukemic cells and ordinary cells. The purpose of this paper is to compare three types of Convolution Neural Network (CNN) architectures and to find which of them is suitable for our detection application. These architectures are MobileNet, VGG16 and ResNet50. All the methods are done using Google Colab which is a free cloud service to create machine learning model, Tensorflow a machine learning library, openCV, keras and other libraries to accurately detect Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
