Abstract: Mythology is a body of myths, as that of a particular people or that relating to a particular person. According to Oxford Dictionary it is a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people explaining some natural or social phenomenon and typically involving supernatural beings or elements. Being an important and integral part of the human culture they in the form of fables, fairy tales, sagas, folktales, epics legends, tales etc. Right from ancient Homer, Hesiod, Aescheles, Sophocles, and Euripides to modern James Joyce, Mary Shelly, Ali Smith, Susan Stocks Chapman used these mythologies in their writings. But their writing was limited only to highlighting the Greek mythology. But Rick Riordon, an American writer blended these stories with the modern American life. His novel series Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2005-2009) is a perfect example of incorporation between ancient and modern. In this five novels series there are ancient Greek gods as well as demigods and human beings. There is complete blending of characters, places, weapons, powers, vocabulary etc. The series is translated in 42 languages and movies are made on the first two novels of the series.

A Machine Learning bases approach for the prediction and detection of Chronic Diseases such as "Type-2-Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, Heart Disease and Classification of Type of Breast Cancer". The developed machine learning models can predict the likelihood of a person developing such Chronic Ailment based on demographic and health-related data. The models work on two main Machine Learning algorithms: Logistic Regression and Decision Tree Classifier which are trained on a fine and large number of datasets. All of the backend functions are then reflected on frontend using a Web Application with simple user interface.

The purpose of this research paper is to look into how college students handle their money and their saving habits. The study used a quantitative research approach, and 40 college students were used as a sample. Data were gathered by a survey questionnaire. According to the study's findings, college students struggle to manage their finances and have a low degree of financial literacy. Nonetheless, the study discovered that among college students, saving money regularly is positively related to improved money management techniques. The report suggests putting in place financial education and awareness programmes to support improved money management techniques and motivate college students to form a saving habit.

Varicose veins are twisted, enlarged veins. Any superficial vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs. That's because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. For many people, varicose veins and spider veins, a common, mild variation of varicose veins, are simply a cosmetic concern. For other people, varicose veins can cause aching pain and discomfort. Sometimes varicose veins lead to more- serious problems. Treatment may involve self-care measures or procedures by your doctor to close or remove veins. Approximately 23% of US adults have varicose veins. If spider telangiectasias and reticular veins are also considered, the prevalence increases to 80% of men and 85% of women. Generally, more common in women and older adults, varicose veins affect 22 million women and 11 million men between the ages of 40 to 80 years. In this paper, we propose an inexpensive, lightweight, and wearable device for the early detection and prevention of varicose veins using non-invasive methods. The method includes continuous monitoring of the temperature of the affected area and when the temperature of the affected area becomes more than the normal body temperature, improper blood flow is detected and vibrations are applied automatically to make the blood flow proper.

This paper presents a comparative study between two famous collections of folktales, Thakurmar Jhuli from Bengal and Grimm Brothers from Germany. The study analyzes the similarities and differences in themes, characters, narrative style, and cultural context of these two collections. It also examines the impact of socio-cultural factors on the development of these two collections. The paper argues that while both collections share commonalities in the use of folklore as a means of cultural preservation and entertainment, they also display distinctive features that reflect their respective cultural contexts. The study contributes to a better understanding of the role of folklore in shaping cultural identity and offers insights into the cultural exchange and diversity of human civilization.

Ayurveda is a holistic science aimed to maintain health and treat the diseased. In recent years, research has emphasized the role of gut microbiota in human health and metabolic processes. The concept of Sahaj Krimi (non-pathogenic microbes) has been described in Ayurveda and can be correlated with gut microbiota. The function of gut microbiota depends upon the status of Agni (digestive fire). The digestive system has long been an area of critical importance within the Ayurvedic system and is only now being acknowledged by modern science as a key component in the regulation of physical and mental well-being. We now recognize that virtually every aspect of our physiology and health is influenced by the collection of microorganisms that live in various parts of our body, especially the gut microbiome. There are many external factors that influence the composition of the gut microbiome but one of the most important is diet and digestion.

Aftimoon (CuscutareflexaRoxb.) is also known as Akashbel, Amarbel, and dodder plant in traditional medicine. India, Sri Lanka, Iran, Australia, Ceylon, and Malaya are all home to the plant. It belongs to the Convolvulaceae family and is an evergreen, perennial, rootless, leafless climber parasitic plant that is used to treat a variety of illnesses, including jaundice, gout, rheumatism, constipation, flatulence, chronic fever, and hiccups. Researchers are looking at the Cuscutareflexa's potential for having anticancer, antibacterial, antispasmodic, antihypertensive, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, haemodynamic, muscle relaxant, psychopharmacological, cardiotonic, and anticonvulsant properties, among others. A parasitic weed plant known as Cuscutareflexa has therapeutic properties and plays a significant role in Ayurveda. The therapeutic capabilities of Cuscutareflexa are dependent on its host plant since it grows over it and absorbs nutrients from it. Many compounds with medicinal potential and pharmacological and ethnomedical properties have been identified from this wonder plant. Phytochemical screening and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) methods were used to determine the phytochemical component of Cuscutareflexa (whole plant) chloroform and methanol extracts. In the plant sample, steroids, terpenoids, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, and cumarins were found through qualitative analysis. The parasite Roxb. twines and forms a tangled mass that covers the host plants. In Tamil, it is referred to as Akasvalli. The stem and seeds of this plant are extremely valuable medicinally. According to certain studies, the traditional societies and Indian tribes employed this plant as a purgative, a carminative, and an exterior treatment for skin conditions. For liver issues and constipation, stem decoction is utilized. Studies conducted in vitro demonstrated the antiviral and anticancer properties of the Cuscuta stem extract. To isolate and characterise the phytochemical ingredients with efficient pharmacological analysis, more research is required.
