 Abstract

This paper describes mechanical and physical properties of bamboo species. Bamboo is a natural material which is obtained from plant family. This plant is fast growing, light weighted, environmentally friendly and renewable. Bamboo material is very useful for construction field. Bamboo has very good in tension, from the study it is found that bamboo has 20 times more strength than steel. This paper also describes various test which are conducted on bamboo species i.e. on dendrocalamus strictus and balcooa bambusa.

Copyright refers to the legal right of the owner of intellectual property with exclusive right to reproduce the work. A trademark is a type of intellectual property consisting of a recognizable sign, design, expression which identifies products or services of a particular source from those of others. IPR also prerequisite for better identification, planning, commercialization, rendering, and protection of invention to creativity organization should evolve its own policies, management style, strategies depending on its area of specialty.  Abstract

Piezoelectric transducers are significant elements of many broadband ultrasonic systems, either pulse-echo or through-transmission, used for imaging and detection purposes. In ultrasonic broadband applications such as medical imaging, or non-destructive testing, piezoelectric transducers should generate/receive ultrasonic signals with good efficiency over a large frequency range. This implies the use of piezoelectric transducers with high sensitivity, broad bandwidth and short-duration impulse responses. High sensitivity provides large signal amplitudes which determine a good dynamic range for the system and the short duration of the received ultra-sonic signal provides a good axial resolution. This paper presents the simulation of linear array transducers for ultrasonic measurements.
