 Abstract

Over-The-Top (OTT) platform development has upended the conventional media and entertainment sectors, including the movie business. This study investigates how OTT platforms are affecting the movie business, with a particular emphasis on moviegoers. This study discovered that the way audiences consume content has significantly changed as a result of OTT platforms through a review of the literature and interviews with industry experts. Many fans who love to watch movies and TV series from the comfort of their homes have been drawn to OTT platforms due to their accessibility and affordability. The entertainment business, particularly the film industry, has undergone a change thanks to the rise of Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms. The purpose of this study is to investigate how OTT platforms have affected movies and moviegoers. A combination of qualitative and quantitative research approaches was used in the study. 300 moviegoers were given a survey questionnaire, and 10 industry professionals were interviewed to get the data. The study's conclusions show that the movie industry has been impacted by the availability of material on OTT platforms in several different ways. While OTT platforms have expanded the audiences for films, they have also resulted in a decrease of moviegoers. According to the report, younger generations like OTT platforms because of how convenient they are for watching movies.

 Abstract

India is the land of discourse and therefore it has cherished different philosophies throughout the centuries. Buddhist philosophy emerged on the foundations of the then prevalent philosophies for example Vaisesika and Nyaya. Buddhist philosophy reached its peak at the times of Nagarjuna, Vasubandhu and Asanga while pre-existing philosophies suffered relative decline. Sankarachary revived the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta and popularise the more ancient Vedic tradition. There is a very close proximity between the Buddhist philosophy and the philosophy of Sankarachary. The present article is an effort to study and analyse this complex relationship.

 Abstract

Social media text analytic is the process of deriving information from text sources. Text analysis can be applied to any text-based dataset, including social media. Negative thinking is a major problem faced today by society even we are finding in social media. Negative thinking have affected the quality of life and economic growth badly. We can identify the negative thinking patterns and predict the negative thinking by detecting and analyzing the historical data. However, some negative thinking are unregistered and unsolved due to a lack of evidence. Thus, detecting negative thinking is a still challenging task. We can use social media to detect negative thinking related activities. Because social media users sometimes convey messages related to his or her surrounding environment via social media message. In this paper, we proposed a machine learning approach to detect the negative thinking and analyze it on its type. As the first step, we fetch the text messages using predefined keywords relating to the negative thinking. Then, after the Pre-processing, we applied a support vector machine- based filtering approach to eliminate the noise. And then Random forest is used for classification. Then in the final stage, we analyze and categorize the negative thinking type.

 Abstract

The rapidly increasing number of wireless systems is exacerbating the already significant challenge of limited frequency spectrum bandwidth in modern wireless systems. To address this scarcity of spectrum, secondary systems can adopt an opportunistic approach by accessing temporarily unused licensed bands of primary systems. This approach, known as cognitive radio technology, allows secondary systems to modify their transmitting parameters. so to minimize interference with primary users. The problem of spectral crowding can be addressed by utilizing cognitive radio technology, which involves opportunistically utilizing frequency bands that are not heavily occupied by licensed users. This approach provides a promising solution to the challenge of limited frequency spectrum bandwidth in modern wireless systems. With the development of prototypes and the implementation of these approaches on testbeds, researcher scan the effectiveness of cognitive radio approaches and ensure their successful deployment in the real world. The application of cognitive radio technology has attracted significant research interest and has the potential to introduce new approaches to the usage of available spectrum, thereby improving the efficiency of wireless systems.

 Abstract

The pregnancy and the postpartum period are predisposing the occurrence of the venous thrombosis. The purpose of our study is to investigate the epidemiologic, clinical, paraclinical and therapeutical aspects of the venous thrombosis during the pregnancy. This is a retrospective study about 49 cases, achieved in the department of obstetrical intensive care unit of UHC Ibn Rochd of Casablanca, over a period of five years (2012-2016). The incidence of the venous thromboembolic disease is 2 to 3 per 1000 pregnancies, the average age is 49 years old, with a predominance of the supervene in the postpartum period (63%). The main site is the deep vein thrombosis of the lower limbs (62%) of the left side in more than half of the patients. The frequency of the pulmonary embolism is 12% and the frequency of the cerebral thrombophlebitis and ovarian thrombosis is 4%. A spleen thrombosis, rarely described in the literature, was noticed in one patient. The definite diagnosis is based on the use of the venous Doppler echography of the lower limbs, the thoracic and abdominal angiography, and the brain magnetic resonance. The thrombophilia represents the main risk factor even if the complete examination could not be applied in all patients. In our sample, the feeding, the history of thrombosis and multiparty were predominant. The treatment is based on the heparin and the ant vitamin K according to the pregnancy term and the environment of the patient; the evolution was favorable in 94% of the women in labor. The management of the venous thromboembolic disease requires a multidisciplinary approach because of its significant morbidity and mortality, here the necessity to deal with the problem, to look for predisposing risk factors in order to guarantee adequate prophylaxis.

 Abstract

It is to identify the hazards to assess the associated risks and to bring the risks to tolerable level. Shock absorber activity because of the engineering view of the operation, complexity of the systems, procedures and methods always involves some amount of hazards. Hazard identification and risk analysis is carried for identification of undesirable events that can leads to a hazard, the analysis of hazard mechanism by which this undesirable event could occur and usually the estimation of extent, magnitude and likelihood of harmful effects. It is widely accepted within industry in general that the various techniques of risk assessment contribute greatly toward improvements in the safety of complex operations and equipment. The objective of hazard and risk analysis is to identify and analysis hazards, the event sequences leading to hazards and the risk of hazardous events. As of my study from Tenneco automotive i have identified the problem from simple qualitative methods to advanced quantitative methods are available to help identify and analysis hazards. using these technique, we identified the Bump Cap Pressing machine has 50% of injuries when compared to other machines in Damper Assembly. In that machine 75 % of injuries by human error and 25% are machine Errors. So Implementation of safety light curtain device on machine to reduce the 75% of machinery hazards.

 Abstract

Sign Language is a non-verbal communication system in which people communicate by visually transferring sign patterns to express their meaning. To express their thoughts, sign language is used widely. As a solution to the problem, this project implements a system to assist deaf and speech-impaired people in capturing their sign-based message via the camera and then converting it into text and audio form. Therefore, it will be very easy for them to communicate with any person at any place and get their work could be done very smoothly. The main purpose of the project is to eliminate the communication gap and to improve the interaction between speech-impaired people and the common people. This project consists of main two modules: 1. Hand gesture recognition 2. Speech recognition. For the recognition of gestures, we are making use of a Convolutional neural network (CNN).
