The current study's findings show that many phytochemicals, including polyphenolic components such alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, steroids, and phenols, resins, and carbohydrates, are present in the ethanolic extract of Trachysprmum ammi bark. Ethnobotanical and traditional uses of natural substances, particularly those derived from plants, have drawn a lot of attention recently as they have been scientifically proven to be safe for human use and to be beneficial. When looking for novel compounds to treat a variety of illnesses, this traditional method works the best. A thorough review of the literature on Trachyspermum ammi revealed that traditional healers and members of different ethnic groups frequently use it as a therapy for a variety of illnesses. Based on the results, we can conclude that the ethanolic extract of Trachyspermum ammi bark can be attributed to Anti-oxidant activity and Anti-ulcer activity. However, the isolation of active constituents from the ethanolic extract of Trachyspermum ammi bark species and its action responsible for its Anti-oxidant activity and Anti-ulcer activity effect can be useful for the treatment of the same in future.

Gridhrasi is one of the vatavyadhi according to Ayurveda. It is a ruja pradhana vyadhi. On the basis of the symptoms Gridhrasi can be correlated with Sciatica. It is a crippling disease, causing throbbing pain in hip and radiating downwards, with the sciatic nerve.Trauma, overloading, prolonged standing, sedentary lifestyle and neurological factors are said to be the causative factors.About 60-80% of people get affected by low back pain and amongst which 6 percent⁴ are reported to have radiating type of pain.It disturbs daily routine of the patients because of continuous and stretching type of pain.Despite of all advances in modern medicine ,Sciatica merely managed with Analgesics,NSAIDs, Muscle relaxants which have long term severe side effects .In Ayurveda ,various methods used in the treatment of Gridhrasi are Bheshaja ,Basti,Siravyadana and Agnikarma. The common indications of Agnikarma⁶ include pain, stiffness, muscle spasm and inflammatory conditions ,these symptoms are observed in the Gridhrasi. The disease treated with Agnikarma do not recur and there is no fear of putrefaction and bleeding, and ultimately it produces balancing effect on vitiated vatadosha. Agni karma done by using Panchaloha Shalaka, which does vata kapha shamka. Agnikarma done by using lohashalaka which works as a Rejuvenator, health promoter, and it balances all the tridoshas.Hence considering above facts this study has been planned as“A RANDOMIZED COMPARATIVE CLINICAL STUDY TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY OF AGNI KARMA WITH PANCHALOHA SHALAKA AND LOHA SHALAKA IN GRIDHRASI VIS-À-VIS SCIATICA”.

Colorectal cancer is still a major global public health concern that requires accurate and timely identification to intervene effectively. This study uses a large dataset with clinical and pathological variables to investigate the use of logistic regression for colon cancer identification. The dataset includes demographic information, lesion characteristics, and histological results obtained from colonoscopy tests. The dataset was preprocessed using feature engineering approaches, which included fixing missing values and normalizing variables to ensure the best possible model performance. Known for its effectiveness in binary classification tasks, logistic regression was the main predictive model. After thorough training and assessment, the logistic regression model showed encouraging results in differentiating between benign and malignant colon tumors. Evaluation metrics included the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, recall, accuracy, and precision.
