 Abstract

The current trends in supply chain operations and management of products and services have led to an overwhelming amount of information inundating warehousing companies and logistics centers. Effectively utilizing this logistics-related knowledge can help businesses reduce costs and improve customer loyalty. To achieve these goals, warehouse management systems (WMS) are commonly implemented and utilized. This thesis focuses on adopting an objective resource-based approach to implementing and utilizing WMS. Additionally, it presents a research agenda to guide future efforts in WMS-related research and the broader field of Logistics Information Systems (LIS). Simultaneously, resource management plays a crucial role in determining the structure and arrangement of stored items within warehouses. Following standardized and planned procedures for processing and storing goods at multiple locations within a facility or across a supply network is essential. Effective and efficient management of an organization necessitates the cohesive functioning of all its components, including separate strategic business units (SBUs) or facilities, as well as the organization as a whole. Given the dynamic nature of the market environment, businesses face increasing pressure to enhance their warehousing practices. Many organizations have even modified their value propositions to improve the quality of customer support, leading to changes in warehouse operations. In today's ever-evolving retail landscape, companies are continually striving to improve their warehousing activities. They recognize the importance of enhancing customer support levels and have therefore taken steps to strengthen their warehouse operations. This includes considering various factors that influence the quality and effectiveness of the warehouse network.

 Abstract

The contemporary Indian society displays a wide spectrum of gender-related value system and cultural practices with related types of violence. Recognizing the complexity of the issue and many forms of violence against women that exist, one cannot account for a single factor to be the reason for violence perpetrated against women. The consequences of violence against women are far reaching. It impacts all aspects of women's lives, their health and that of their children, and also on larger society. Structural violence embedded in the patriarchal structures of Indian society has many harmful consequences for women and it lower their performance levels due to increased subordination and subjugation to the established patriarchal order. Therefore an attempt has been made in this paper to emaphasise upon the consequences and the intervention coping strategies.

 Abstract

A Passage to India by E.M Forster is a literary work which portrays an unusual friendship between the colonisers and the colonised people in India, during the colonial era. This inappropriate camaraderie became a source of controversy in the novel's subsequent reception. This research paper examines the complex dynamics between the coloniser and the colonised against the background of the India under British dominion, as portrayed in E.M. Forster's novel, A Passage to India. It examines the portrayal of orientalism stereotypes associated with colonial subjects and the systematic process of indoctrination aimed at creating uniformity. Additionally, this research paper also delves into the depiction of the hostile land that exacerbates the colonists' sense of alienation and displacement. Drawing upon Albert Memmi's work, The Colonizer and The Colonized, as well as insights from other cultural philosophers, the article offers an analysis of these themes. It is hoped that this paper will encourage further exploration of Forster's novels, particularly A Passage to India, and their exploration of the challenging issues surrounding identity formation, race relations, and the complexities of colonial discourse in hybrid contexts.

 Abstract

The most critical issue in wireless sensor networks is data collection. The primary goal of data collection is to collect a large amount of data while minimising data loss due to sensor node memory capacity limitations. Effective data collection techniques can boost sensor network performance. Many researchers have proposed different methods for collecting data in sensor networks. A survey on data collection in wireless sensor networks is described in this paper. We review recent advances in this research area in this paper. We begin by highlighting the unique characteristics of data collection in WSNs. Then we talk about issues and previous solutions for the data gathering protocol design and the data dissemination protocol design. Our discussion also includes various data gathering protocols, which are an important component for energy efficient data gathering and have a significant impact on the overall performance of a data collection WSN system.

 Abstract

A wireless sensor network (WSN) is made up of numerous sensor nodes that are distributed throughout a planned area and have limited power, computation, and communication capabilities. Applications involving high security wireless sensor networks, such as military target tracking, border security, and scientific research, are in a dangerous environment. In our proposed scheme, sensor nodes in WSNs are grouped according to a hierarchical structure. An end-to-end secure communication protocol is used in the top wired layer to distribute group keys for subgroups to trusted head nodes.

 Abstract

This paper aims to create a prototype for a smart vehicle system that provides real-time location of the vehicle upon detection of a crash and alerts the police station and the user's relatives, as well as a panic button feature for the safety of a passenger. We also show a cabin monitoring system and an interactive interface between a user and a car, in which the user can send a text message to the car's GSM module to inquire about temperature, humidity, and other factors within the vehicle. The GSM module communicates with the Arduino, which retrieves sensor data and sends it to the user via text message. In a good automobile, anyone can simply manage the system and speech recognition, as well as the mechanism to conceal the checkout distance. To tend the square measure victimisation Bluetooth module, the speech should recognise.

 Abstract

One of the biggest disadvantages of building a world house is the high price of the building. The high cost of building houses below the poverty line is one of the most important human problems. On the other hand, increasing urbanization increases waste, especially non-renewable ones. An appropriate approach to such a situation is to use part of the household waste as necessary materials for the construction of the house, and also to ensure a comfortable space and adequate heat for the inhabitants of the house. A plastic bottle is considered a household waste that has durability properties and can be used as a material in house construction instead of a conventional material such as brick. [1,2] The purpose of this paper is to investigate the use of plastic bottles as municipal waste in one building and how this can lead to sustainability. It also mentions some ways to set up and insulate them in terms of heat and sound, and some positive points that this material has over others. Finally, it was concluded that plastic bottles can be more efficient compared to some conventional building materials such as brick, concrete and ceramic block in terms of various factors such as lead time, cost, carrying capacity, flexibility, waste and energy efficiency. A small village in Nigeria has implemented a solution that not only provides shelter in a poor country, but also finds a use for waste. Packing sand in plastic bottles is a technique that started nine years ago in India, South and Central America and now we used this type of construction in Chhattisgarh India. The compacted sand inside the bottles, called bottle brick technology, is almost 20 times stronger than bricks. The best part is that in an area that doesn't have a lot of money [5] for building materials, houses cost about 1/3 of a concrete and brick house.
