Electronic commerce is an easy access to vast stores of reference material, collaborative computing, e-mail, and new avenues for advertising and information distribution. The government concerns, private companies and even individual citizens around the world are anxious to be a part of this revolution, but they are afraid that some hacker will break into their web server and replace their logo with pornography, read their e-mail, steal their credit card number from an on-line shopping site, or implant software that will secretly transmit their organization's secrets to the open internet. With these concerns the ethical hacker can help. In this article, hacker skills, their attitudes, and how they go about helping their customers to find and plug up the security holes. The ethical hacking process is explained, along with many of the problems that the Global Security Analysis lab has seen during its early years of ethical hacking for IBM clients.

Retaining walls are an integral part of almost all infrastructure projects, to support vertical or near vertical backfills. As the sectional dimensions of retaining wall are function of lateral earth pressure on wall, so reducing the lateral earth pressure on wall with also reduce the sectional dimension of the wall and will leads to overall economy to the structure. Construction of relief shelves at various elevations.into the backfill use of tire chips as light weight backfill provision of compressible inclusion are some of the techniques used by several researchers to achieve the reduction of earth pressure on retaining wall.A similar study has also investigated the possible reasons behind the failure of a cantilever retaining wall with relief shelves, which is located in the heart of Hawassa city, Ethiopia and also laid suitable relief shelf parameters by using computational tool. To study the influence of relief shelf on lateral earth pressure distribution on wall, 1-g small scale, physical model tests are carried out in a stainless steel tank having dimensions of 1.2m length, 0.31m width and 0.7m depth. Present study examines the effectiveness of relief shelves on lateral earth pressure reduction, which has concluded that provision of relief shelves on non-yielding rigid retaining wall provides significant amount of reduction in total thrust on wall by means of small scale physical model tests and numerical analysis. For retaining wall of 8m height having surcharge of 50kPa placed at 0.5m away from wall face, provision of 3 relief shelves having width ranging from 0.4-1.8m can reduce total thrust in range of 4-27.5%.

Struggle for resources has always been an integral part of life of a process. The task of management of resources such as RAM, storage, CPU, GPU, etc. is handled by the operating system of the computer. Every millisecond is crucial when user experience and system performance are at stake. Machine learning has made an entry into the world of computers and has successfully conquered majority of the domains. This research paper attempts to study the various machine learning techniques used to automate and simplify the job of process scheduling in operating systems. Various algorithms, their approach towards the system (at hardware and software levels), time-scale compression, etc. previously researched and discovered are discussed in this text. This paper can be reliably used as a comprehensive summary of 3 different research papers and their outcomes regarding the concept of process scheduling, CPU scheduling, system optimization with machine learning at different levels (like User level, kernel level and hardware level), etc. A discussion about a dedicated resource (inside a computer) specifically for handling machine learning tasks has been made which has a near unity ratio of success.

Uncertainty in the price of the fossil fuels and also rapid depletion of them gives rise to the alternate energy sources. From many decades people uses the solar energy as a main source of energy especially in the drying of food items. Solar dryer is the device that can be used for drying of food items which is sustainable by small communities, gives hygenic and quality products. Mainly an indirect solar dryer and mixed mode solar dryer performance and design were studied from the literatures. The tunnel type dryer has the advantages of the direct sun light by ultra-violate stabilized cover and absorber plate is provided at the base. The no load performance index is the new terminology for checking the performance of the different dryer in the forced and natural convection mode. The drying of fish near to the coastal line of India is the major business for fisherman hence the drying done by open sun drying method in very unhygienic condition. By implementing solar dryer over that regions quality of dried fish will increase and the drying time will be decrease. The no load performance index (NLPI) of the mixed mode solar dryer was 0.633 which was highest among the rest of the dryer under the natural convection mode. The new mixed mode type solar dryer can be developed in which the absorber plate is attached with the tunnel type dryer.

The abstract of this paper to design and implementation of bi-directional dc-dc converter for energy storage system. In upcoming generation, the global energy level may increase 2% per year. The conventional electrical power generation produce environmental pollution and global warming. By using the renewable energy like solar and geo thermal energy we can consume the power generation without any natural causes. It also gives clean and eco-friendly. The energy storage device and unidirectional boost converter (UDC), are also maintain constantly and made the energy conversion. This type of method converts into AC to DC, Boost the level of voltage and get output of consistent from the solar panel. The solar panel, inverter, bi-directional converter (BDC) are connected to load/grid. This is called solar energy electrical system (SEES). The system is operatives in five different modes that is solar sourced battery output mode, solar sourced battery mode, battery sourced output mode and grid battery mode. This circuit were designed through MATLAB/SIMULINK with all the modes. This type of system includes by three phase uncontrolled rectifier conversion for AC to DC, buck-boost operation for BDC and rectifier/inverter unit. These are the closed loop operation.

The history of Indian freedom struggle would be incomplete without mentioning the contribution of women. The sacrifice made by the women of India newline will occupy the foremost place. The history of freedom struggle is replete with the saga of sacrifice, selflessness, bravery of women. Many of us dont know that there were hundreds of women who fought side by side with their male counterparts. They fought with true spirit and undismayed courage. The Indian women broke away from various restrictions and got out of their traditional home-oriented roles and responsibilities. So, the participation of women in the freedom struggle and National awakening is simply incredible and praiseworthy. However, it is not easy for women to fight as warriors in the male dominating society. Even though females tried to change the perception of such orthodox people who thought women are meant to do only household chores. Moreover, females not only sacrifice their lives but also combat such issues. Rani Laxmi Bhai was one of such women who fought against British role by mitigating all odds, hence this paper entitles to highlight the legacy that women showed in the history by showing their fierce nature.

Abstract: Forest plant protection is a chronic problem for sustainable development of our country. Hence forest ecosystem is one of the main natural bio-resources that we have to conserve. But still there are many threats causing damages to our forest greenery. The major existing threat is the damages caused by insect pests. They are the most destructive agents affecting forest and shade trees. Rhinolophus beddomei (Lesser woolly horseshoe bat), a forest dwelling species, being a major insect eater, play a key role in the biological control of insect pests. Being the only flying mammal, bats are capable of sustained flight and are the most gregarious and successful group of beneficial animals to the ecosystem and have lured the attention of ethologists. The present study has analysed the study species availability and its activity as Pest Managers. Few sample areas from forest ecosystem of Kalakad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve (KMTR) was taken as study site which is known for its forest ecosystem with caves, water bodies, streams and forest tree cover. Dietary habitat analysis of study species was done by faecal pellet analysis. The results explain and justify R. beddomei, play a potential role in green management and there by helps to conserve biodiversity in forest ecosystem.
