Applying the first principles method of the full potential linear augmented plane waves (FPLAPW), the structural and the electronic properties of AlBi are investigated. It is found that this compound has a small and direct semiconducting gap at ?. Through the quasi-harmonic Debye model, in which the phononic effects are considered, the dependences of the volume, the bulk modulus, the variation of the thermal expansion ? are successfully obtained.

This work was applied to inspect the potential health benefits of the oral administration of the Iraqi Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) water extract on the bactericidal capacity of serum samples collected from a group of children with Strep throat symptoms during the year of 2019. Accordingly, a total of fifty children referred to from a private pediatric clinic at the age range of (10-15) years from both sexes were involved in this study. All children were interviewed, and their symptoms were recorded. Then, 200 ml of warm water extract of one gram of Iraqi Chamomile fresh flower was orally administered to children twice a day for ten days. Health parameters such as respiratory complications, bodyweight mass, blood hemoglobin and the bactericidal capacity of serum were all evaluated at three levels including (day-zero, day-three, and day-five) of treatment. Results showed a marked improvement in the symptoms including feeling well, less congestion of the chest, and children presented with no coughing nor sneezing on the third day of treatment. Moreover, no significant difference (P >0.05) in the bodyweight mass (BWM) parameter of the participating children when compared with their weights at the day-zero. Alternatively, a slight increase was recorded in blood hemoglobin on the fifth day of the treatment. In addition to the increase in the bactericidal capacity of childrens serum compared to the percentage of cfu/ml between day-zero and the fifth day in the bacterial colony counts of the Streptococcus isolates. In addition to the significant impact of the water extract on the growth activity of the Streptococcus isolates In Vitro.

In numerous cities of India including metropolis, auto-rickshaw and van are the main modes of transportation opted by the parents for the school going children. School trips can be considered as a major factor affecting road traffic as most school and office timings are similar. School trips become part of peak hour traffic. The students face the problems due to long travel time and travel distance due to improper scheduling and routing of bus. The situation now is all the nearby schools/colleges send their own contractual buses to even smallest part of the city, and the buses cover the area and locality in a route, which cause huge traffic. There is congestion on roads which result in delay of the trip of the users i.e. students. This paper reports the results of data collected from various educational institutions of Chharodi area of Ahmedabad City to examine the travel characteristic. Bus data collected from various schools in a vicinity of 2 km in Chharodi area of Ahmedabad City and tried to amalgamate their data by proposing a common bus service for these schools. This will reduce the congestion there by decreasing the travel time as well as the travel cost. Bus routes and the number of buses have been estimated based on the study. The proposed co-ordinated bus service is found to be economically viable.

Work-life balance is a concept that includes proper balance between career and ambition on one hand and having a satisfactory personal life that provide some scope for pleasure, leisure, spiritual development, family and health. The term work-life conflict refers to the form of inter-role conflict when one of the roles imposes different demands and requirement on people that are not compatible with the other role. Work domain requires time, energy and commitment that may not allow people to satisfy their family and life needs. The main objective of this project is to study how employees manage their professional as well as personal lives. The study leads to the conclusion that if employers really care for their employees, and if they make sincere effort to help their employees have a proper fit between work and personal life then work-life balance is not a major issue.

Abstract: Who are indigenous people? Can tribes be called indigenous? Very often they experience non- recognition of their cultural identity. They are excluded from the mainstream society and are marginalized and they are called indigenous. They face discriminatory approaches and stigma. Culture of tribes gives rich ethnographic details about their cultural practices, perception and behavioural aspects. In India tribes often experience displacement and relocation from their traditional territories, and dispossession of their lands and resources by both government-led and private-led projects. They are engaged in extractive industries, logging, large-scale plantations mega-projects and dams. The traditional knowledge and the effective use and preservation of their lands, forests and natural resources can inspire measures for conservation. Traditional medicines and practices can be shared for the benefit of the wider society. The transition from the tribal to the peasant society is complicated and diversified. Tribal development because of the diverse situations has to be area-specific. Other problem of tribal development emanates from equating tribal areas with any other economically backward area and recommending identical packages of measures for their upliftment. Tribes specifically Scheduled tribes of Maharashtra are also experiencing more or less same situation. The sense of marginalization and alienation has resulted in fragmentation of tribal economy and society. Most tribal displaced by development projects or industries have not been satisfactorily rehabilitated. The basic system of laws governing Tribal Rights is still extremely unclear. It is therefore imperative to create a task force that should undertake a Harmonisation of Laws for scheduled tribes. A national plan of action for comprehensive development is warranted which would serve as a road map for the welfare of the tribal. There should be convergence of regulatory and development programmes in the tribal areas. The authorities involved in determining the inclusion and exclusion of tribes in the list of Scheduled Tribes should adopt a mechanism of consultation with the major States and those with tribal populations on the basis of which a comprehensive methodology with clearly defined parameters is arrived at. This paper is highlighting the proposition of socio-economic and developmental issues of scheduled tribes of Maharashtra.

The market is increasing exponentially as the needs and demands of people are increasing. People are getting various alternatives in products so they choose those commodities which satisfies their needs the most. Companies are using many manipulative tactics to attract their consumers towards their products. Consumers generally fall prey to the attractive advertisements that a company uses. This paper reflects on how the companies use the stimuli, the techniques and mechanism of the advertisements to manipulate the consumer

A new high efficiency resonant boost converter is introduced. Topology is a hybrid circuit between a switched resonator and a switched-capacitor converter. The voltage gain is adjustable and full range zero current switching operation is given for switches independent of operating voltages and load capacity. The structure is built without any additional switch in the circuit by an inverter arm. All high frequency resonant types are passive components, and then small size realization is possible. Stability of the converter is assured.
