Guidelines for flexible delivery of Student Affairs and Services programs during the Coronavirus 2019 pandemic were released in 2021 by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the form of CHED Memo no. 08, series of 2021. Guided by this memorandum, the office of Student Affairs and Services (SAS) of Tarlac State University included online services to enhance the offline services of its programs. It is on this premise that the study was conducted with the purpose of determining the students' level of awareness and satisfaction of the offline and online services offered by the different units of the office of SAS during the pandemic. The level of importance of the two modes of services was also determined. The study employed a descriptive design using an adapted and validated survey questionnaire. The 375 respondents of the study were composed of the second year to fourth year students coming from the different programs at Tarlac State University. The results of the study showed that the students were generally aware of the offline and online services and programs offered by the different units of SAS. The online services and programs that garnered the highest mean of level of awareness were the services provided by the student organization unit and the testing, monitoring and evaluation unit while the least known services were the dental services. Overall, the students were satisfied with the services and programs of SAS with the student organization receiving the highest level of satisfaction and the health services receiving the least level of satisfaction. Seven units whose services were deemed very important during the pandemic were the services offered by the scholarship and finance assistance, medical services, student discipline, services for specific students like students with disabilities and students belonging to indigenous groups, guidance and counseling services, career and job placement services and dental services. All other services were rated as important. The findings revealed that there are SAS programs and services that should be adequately disseminated to students through proper orientation of the type of support services that they can avail to help them adjust and succeed in the new learning environment. The suggestions proposed by the students to enhance the delivery of the programs of SAS may also be adapted. Guided by the results, the outcomes of this study may be used as benchmark for future research undertakings of the office of Student Affairs and Services and as a compliance report for accreditation. The instrument used may also serve as a tool for monitoring the effectiveness of SAS services and programs.

A person's face represents their identity. The development of image processing tools has resulted in a significant shift in the approaches used to exploit this physical property. Every school, college, and library takes attendance. The professor calls on each student by name and logs their attendance in the traditional manner. The process of recording attendance takes time. This is a time-wasting exercise for every lecture. We're going to employ an automatic procedure based on image processing to prevent these losses. One of these pieces of software allows for the identification of individuals within organizations or colleges in order to track attendance. One major problem with computer-based communication is authentication. One significant area of biometric verification that has been applied extensively is human face recognition. The regular tasks of attendance marking and analysis are carried out with less human interaction when an attendance management system is used. We are utilizing a face detection and identification technology in this new method. Accurate attendance depends on face identification, which separates faces from non-faces. Facing recognition for recording the student's attendance is the other tactic. For this system, OpenCV has been utilized. The OpenCV module, which connects to the camera, transforms the picture into RGB format. This format is then translated to neural networks that have already been trained using the HOG technique to identify face pixels. This system provides a time-efficient, efficient method of managing the attendance system with vast scalability for future needs. The gadget automatically detects attendance, the histogram data is compared to an existing dataset, a Haarcascade classifier is used to detect faces, and the Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) Algorithm is used to distinguish faces in the image. Every hour, an Excel spreadsheet is generated with information from the relevant class instructor.

The abstract provides a comprehensive overview of the intricate relationship between comparative advertising and consumer protection within the framework of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, in India. It delineates how comparative advertising, while potentially beneficial for consumers when conducted transparently, can also pose risks of misinformation and unfair competition. The abstract discusses the legal provisions outlined in the Consumer Protection Act, including definitions of unfair trade practices and misleading advertisements, aimed at safeguarding consumers from deceptive advertising practices. It highlights the role of regulatory bodies such as the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) and the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) in enforcing consumer protection laws and ensuring compliance with ethical advertising standards. The abstract further explores judicial interpretations and landmark cases that have clarified the boundaries of fair comparative advertising, emphasizing the prohibition of product disparagement and the importance of truthfulness and fairness in advertising content. It addresses issues and challenges in the enforcement of consumer protection laws, such as resource constraints, lack of consumer awareness, loopholes in the legal framework, globalization of advertising, and limited regulation in business-to-business transactions.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has evolved from being perceived as a charitable activity to becoming an essential aspect of corporate governance globally. This paper delves into the intricate relationship between CSR and governance, particularly focusing on how integrating CSR initiatives into governance strategies can significantly enhance stakeholder engagement, trust, and overall sustainability in the business landscape. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of the historical evolution of CSR, the regulatory framework governing corporate governance in India, and the theoretical underpinnings of integrating CSR into governance frameworks. The integration of CSR into corporate governance strategies involves a multifaceted approach that goes beyond mere compliance and philanthropy. It requires aligning CSR goals with the company's core values, mission, and long-term business strategies. This integration encompasses various key elements, Boards of directors play a pivotal role in providing oversight, leadership, and strategic direction in CSR matters. Establishing dedicated board committees or task forces focused on CSR ensures that CSR initiatives are integrated into the company's governance structure and decision-making processes. Effective CSR integration necessitates meaningful engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, communities, and regulatory bodies. Collaborative partnerships with stakeholders enable companies to identify key CSR priorities, address stakeholder concerns, and co-create value that benefits both the company and society at large. Integrating CSR into governance strategies requires robust risk management mechanisms to identify, assess, and mitigate social, environmental, and ethical risks. Adhering to regulatory requirements and adopting internationally recognized reporting standards ensures transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in CSR practices. Transparent reporting of CSR initiatives, outcomes, and impact metrics is essential for building trust, credibility, and accountability with stakeholders. Adopting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) guidelines enables companies to effectively communicate their CSR efforts and demonstrate tangible social and environmental impact. The paper also discusses the profound impact of CSR integration on stakeholder engagement, including enhanced trust, reputation, employee morale, investor confidence, and community impact. It addresses the challenges and opportunities associated with CSR governance, such as regulatory compliance, balancing short-term profitability with long-term sustainability, leveraging technology and innovation, and fostering collaborative partnerships. Through in-depth analysis, case studies, and best practices, the study provides actionable recommendations for businesses in India to strengthen their CSR governance frameworks, foster meaningful stakeholder relationships, and drive inclusive growth. Embracing CSR as an integral part of governance reflects a commitment to ethical leadership, sustainability, and responsible business conduct, contributing to a more resilient and socially responsible business ecosystem.

The right to live with dignity and self-respect as a human being leads to a continuous analysis of policies and services aimed at marginalized sections. UNICEF's Medium-Term Strategic Plan for 2002-05, in line with the Convention on the Rights of the Child, demands that 'all children have access to and complete an education of good quality'. Inclusive practice is a teaching technique that acknowledges and utilizes the diversity of students. It ensures that all pupils have access to instructional knowledge equitable. Also, have the opportunity to fully participate in their inclusive education studies. The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights, and Full Participation) Act of 1995 provided equal opportunities, protection of rights, and full participation to people with disabilities. The Integrated Education of Disabled Children Act is a federal law that mandates that disabled children get an integrated education. The National Trust Act was enacted in 1999. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is an excellent start for all kids interested in universal elementary education. The New Education Policy 2020 is to make education universal from pre-school through secondary school. Aarogya Setu is a mobile application that aims to "bridge the gap between excellent health and happiness." The purpose of inclusion is to include everyone. Discrimination based on race, gender, or disability. As a result of eradicating prejudice and intolerance, this comes down to equal access and opportunity. Secondary data was gathered from a variety of journals and websites. The higher education system follows the comprehensive core structure. In India, similar vocational training projects are being implemented. This initiative program aims to overhaul India's educational system by 2040.

The manufacturing as well as marketing of counterfeit or duplicate products and goods lead to consequential financial, health, and safety threats to end users. It also hurts the economic growth of original manufacturers and businesses through revenue loss, product defamation, downtime, replacement expenses, forcing many brands to spend money on fighting counterfeits, trust among business partners can also be at risk, stealing sales, etc. To overcome and stop these crucial effects of counterfeiting, a blockchain-based system is used in the identification of original products and also detects duplicate products to ensure the identification of original goods. In this project, with massive emerging trends in wireless technology, QR (Quick Response) codes, and barcodes provide a technique to cut down the practice of counterfeiting products. The fake products are identified using a camera scanner, where the QR or barcode of the product or goods is linked to a blockchain to store product details, and the guaranteed unique code of each product is stored as blocks in the database. If the code in the product matches, the notification will be sent to the customer indicating the authenticity of the product and if it does not match the code in the database, a notification will be sent to the customer indicating that the product is fake or counterfeited and notification is also sent to the manufacturer about the place of purchase if the customer accepts the request made by the application. This approach to cutting down counterfeit ensures that consumers won't completely rely on merchants to determine if products are original or forged.
