 Abstract

Educational technology (EdTech) has witnessed a significant rise in recent years, with educational apps and games playing a pivotal role in transforming the learning landscape. This research article delves into the potential of EdTech to replace traditional classroom learning by examining its advantages and limitations. The advantages of EdTech include increased engagement and motivation, personalized learning experiences, enhanced accessibility, gamification elements, and effective reinforcement practices. However, EdTech also presents limitations such as reduced social interaction, concerns regarding standardization and creativity, over-reliance on technology, assessment challenges, and issues related to equity and access. The article advocates for a blended learning approach that combines traditional teaching methods with EdTech elements to optimize learning outcomes. By emphasizing the importance of teacher facilitation, curriculum design, and a balanced integration of technology, this article concludes that while EdTech offers numerous benefits, a blended approach is likely to be the most effective educational model for the future.

 Abstract

Language reflects culture, therefore when people from different cultures coexist, how they use language becomes more significant and challenging. Language becomes more important and complex in cross-cultural groups because it reflects culture. The aim of this paper is to discuss about the role of language in obliteration of such cultural barriers and forming cross cultural bonds. To do so, we must first understand how the usage of different languages generates obstacles in cross- cultural societies, as well as how these barriers affect the bonds that are formed. Understanding how people from various cultures interact with one another is the foundation of cross-cultural communication, which is why language plays such an important role.

 Abstract

: In this paper the battery of one or multiple electrical vehicles are charged when connected to conventional three phase grid through controlled rectifier and DC-DC converter. The conventional grid is integrated with multiple renewable sources which include PVA and wind farm. The battery charges utilizing maximum power from the aforementioned renewable sources. During deficit renewable power conditions three phase grid provides power for battery to charge through rectifier. The energy management control structure for the test system including grid with domestic loads, EV charging station, renewable sources is modeled. Different operating conditions with variable environmental factors impacting the renewable sources and EV battery charging are analyzed using MATLAB Simulink software. Graphical representation with time as reference is done using 'powergui' toolbox.

 Abstract

This research paper explores the level of Facebook usage among higher secondary school students of district Anantnag. The study which was descriptive in nature was conducted on 500 higher secondary school students belonging to different private and government higher secondary schools of district Anantnag. The students were sampled by using simple random technique (Lottery Method) whereas, higher secondary schools were purposively selected. Data were collected by using a standardized tool developed by Dr. Madhuri Hooda and Ms. Ankur Tyagi. The major findings of the study were that 223 students i.e., (44.6%) out of 500 were as such who were found of using Facebook at Extremely High Usage Level.

 Abstract

There has been an increasing Interest in composites containing low density and low cost reinforcements. Among various discontinuous dispersions used, fly ash in one of the most inexpensive and low density reinforcement available in large quantities as solid waste by product during combustion of coal in thermal power plant. The study conducted investigates the impact of incorporating varying proportions (ranging from 0% to 9%) of silicon carbide (SiC) and fly ash (FA) into AA7075 aluminum alloy composites. These composites were fabricated using the stir casting method, a widely used technique in composite material synthesis. Notably, the study employed equal proportions of SiC and FA in the composite fabrication process, ensuring a balanced distribution of both reinforcements. The mechanical properties of the prepared composites were extensively evaluated. Specifically, three key mechanical properties were examined: Young's modulus, impact strength, and flexural strength. Young's modulus indicates the stiffness of a material, impact strength measures its ability to withstand sudden loads or shocks, and flexural strength gauges its resistance to bending. This research provides valuable insights into the optimization of composite materials through the incorporation of SiC and FA, thereby paving the way for the development of high-performance materials with enhanced mechanical properties, suitable for a wide range of engineering applications.

 Abstract

The realm of work is in the midst of a profound transformation, shifting away from traditional structures toward the fluid domain of virtual enterprises (VEs). Departing from physical offices and hierarchical setups, VEs thrive with teams spread across locations, utilizing technology for collaboration, communication, and productivity. This abstract delves into the distinctive opportunities and challenges inherent in managing VEs, while offering strategic insights for effective navigation. By examining the dynamics of VEs, this exploration aims to equip managers with the tools necessary to leverage the advantages of virtual work environments while mitigating potential hurdles.

 Abstract

E-Waste material is causing hazardous effect of the environment and human health. So, it is necessary to use it in those areas which can minimize its dangerous effect and can bring some positive result. Endeavors are made to use such type of waste material into concrete as a coarse aggregate or fine aggregate. This research paper is presenting an investigation on study of compressive strength of concrete by using E-waste as a part of coarse aggregate. Conventional Mix M-25 is designed as per the new guidelines of IS10262:2009. The E- waste is broken into specific size and shape. Total 90 specimens were casted with and without using E-waste (1%, 1.5% & 2%) along with fly-ash and Poly Carboxylic Ether (Plasticizer). Compressive strength test was conducted on both type of specimen after 7 days, 14 days and 28 days of curing. The utilization of E-waste in the concrete is quite effective and compressive strength is increasing upto 2% replacement. This ensure that the use of E-waste in the concrete results in to benefits, mainly the better waste management of such non-recyclable waste material, making the project economical and increasing the compressive strength of concrete.

 Abstract

The contemporary challenge facing human society is the pressing need to satisfy the substantial demand for freshwater, which is dwindling rapidly due to the burgeoning human population and rapid urbanization. Solar stills offer an economical means of obtaining fresh water, as they rely solely on the abundant and freely available energy from the sun for operation. However, a significant constraint in conventional solar stills lies in the requirement to maintain a large surface area of water with minimal water depth. To address this constraint effectively, inclined solar stills emerge as a preferred solution, as they offer a large surface area of water while maintaining a shallow water depth. In pursuit of enhancing the performance and efficiency of inclined solar stills, numerous efforts have been directed towards increasing the free surface area of water. Studies have shown that passive inclined solar stills yield distillate ranging from 1000 to 8100 ml/m2, while active inclined solar stills produce distillate yields ranging from 1045 to 9000 ml/day. This review aims to analyze the current status of various designs in inclined solar stills with the objective of inspiring further research in inclined solar still technology. By delving into the present advancements and challenges in this field, this review endeavors to foster innovation and development in inclined solar still technology to effectively address the growing demand for fresh water.

 Abstract

In the digital world, everything is digitalized in which the certificates of SSLC, HSC, and academic certificates are digitalized in educational institutions and provided to students. Students are facing difficulties in maintaining their degree certificates. For the organization and institution, verification and validation of certificates are tedious and cumbersome. Our project will help to store the certificate in the blockchain system and provide security. First, the paper certificates are converted into digital certificates. The chaotic algorithm is used to generate the hash code value for the certificate. Then the certificates are stored in the blockchain. These certificates are validated by using the web application. Blockchain technology can provide a more secure and efficient digital certificate validation.
