This study try to bring out some of the salient features of the smoking patterns in India with the help of multinomial logistic regression model. The study showed that there is a positive association between smoking and age. Another factor that influences the smoking habit is the average number of years spent in school, as the study showed that the chance of being heavy smoker or light smoker decreases as the average number of years spent in school increases. One of the important implications of this result was that, educating people about dangers of smoking can have significant positive impact on, people convert from smoking to not smoking at all. Study also established few interesting association between smoking habits and the employment status.

Curcumin is the major and active biological compound of C. longa. Curcumin suppress the mast cell degranulation and release of histamine as well as curcumin act as immunomodulatory agent by activating T-cell and other mediators. Curcumin can suppress expression of CD80, CD86 and class-II antigens by dendritic cells and blocks the release of inflammatory cytokines like IL1?, IL6 and TNF? from LPS-stimulated dendritic cells .After reviewed we seen that curcumin shows Antiallergic activity by different mechanisms and it also shows wide therapeutic range such as Antiallergic, antiviral (Anti-hiv) , Antidiabetic ,Antimicrobial etc. Its provides wide area for the research and development in Pharmaceutical science.

The leading function initiates action and it is from here actual work starts. There are three elements in leading namely, motivation, leadership and communication. The Government of Mizoram through its industrial policies identified agro-based industries, handloom and handicraft industries, sericulture industries, electronic industries, village and cottage industries and selected consumer industries as priority industries to be developed in the State. Consistent with this, the Government of Mizoram set up five Public Sector Undertakings(PSU). However, these PSUs have failed to achieve the objectives for which they have been incorporated. The PSUs suffer from poor managerial efficiency which has an adverse impact on the financial and operational performance. This article looks into the leading function of the PSUs to identify the problems that ails its effective application.

In this digital era, a lot of information is conveyed through emails. The email service provider applications show the users their email data but do not process it further for more convenience of the users. Automatic event generation and detailed email classification are absent in the conventional email applications. In this paper, an approach for the classification of mails, summarization and automatic event extraction through emails is discussed. The emails are classified into multiple classes using Machine Learning and not only in spam and ham. Rule-based extraction is used for summarization. The date, time, subject and venue of the event present is extracted through emails using text mining. The application is evaluated over many emails and is providing satisfactory results.

Due to a limited number of offshore financial centres and the volume of transactions, offshore banking is a pervasive activity. Offshore banking has a wide impact on the financial system surveillance. The offshore banks are more vulnerable to solvency and foreign exchange risk then onshore banks due to the favourable regulatory frameworks in OFC. The regulatory framework for the onshore could be transmitted to the offshore banks in order to ensure the soundness of the same. Emerging economies which are more vulnerable to a reversal in capital flows, spontaneous accumulation of short-term external debt, and has exposure to currency fluctuations and selective capital account liberalization becomes a qualitative issue for offshore banking in these areas.A combined and focused effort is necessary to assist the emerging economies, to avoid financial crisis by disseminating internationally accepted regulatory standards which shall be adequate and appropriate for optional banking the standards will act supplementary to Basil Committees Core Principle and shall include the Basels Committees Minimum Standards along with their other related initiatives of the International Supervisory Community. Third, the Funds work on promoting good governance also takes a negative blood owing to these offshore banking. It is an obvious fact that offshore banking are not as transparent as normal cross-border transactions for the reasons such as of complex ownership structure and relationships among The jurisdictions that are involved in the transaction. This paper intends to throw some light on offshore banking with regards to the aforementioned considerations. The focus of this paper shall be offshore banking as it constitutes the major portion of offshore activities, keeping in mind that nonbanks, corporations etc also play a vital role in offshore markets.

The handicraft industry remained an important key in the economic development of J&K UT. Being environment friendly, these activities are best suited to the UT as they are more labour intensive and less capital intensive in nature, therefore having scope for employment generation at a large scale. Handmade products are exported all over India and other parts of the world. Kashmiri handicrafts eliminated financial crises among those people who are affected with the physical disabilities. After handicrafts gained foreign exposure with positive feedback, many youth made this, their profession. Kashmiri Handicrafts is the second largest and preferable industry after fruit in Kashmir Valley, and have earned worldwide fame for their attractive designs, functional utility and high quality craftsmanship. In absence of other manufacturing industries in the state, handicrafts remained a key economic activity from time immemorial. The present study focuses on employment and production of handicrafts in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state now a Union territory.

Expressions and manifestations of human neurodiversity tend to hold the key to manifold opportunities and challenges when translated into a special need or diversity. When on one hand, disability is subjected to denigration, social exclusion, stereotyped understanding and despise; on the other hand disability is also manifested in the form of different and unique expressions of boundless abilities. Specifically, evidential literature around the Globe have reflected the unflinching creative abilities of the children with special needs. The present study was undertaken to cross-cut through the existing challenges in teaching-learning environments pertaining to the Right to Creative Expression and addressing Neurodiversity among children with special needs; to curtail stereotypes of inability among the children and to foster a positive classroom environment with optimal grounds for expression of their latent talents, inclusivity and strengthening of Child Rights as a whole. The study variables included ability enrichment, metacognition and inclusive classroom ergonomics in a 2X2 quasi experimental single subject research design methodology. Results of the present intervention study indicated a positive and significant difference among the research variables at .05 and .01levels of significance. This further indicated that fostering neurodiversity and talents among children with special needs in teaching-learning environments enhance as well as enrich their Right to Creative Expression and Neurocognitive Learning abilities. The study also paved the way for cross-cutting through the existent stereotypes related to disability and Disablism among children with Special Needs. Both quantitative and qualitative results were suggestive of creating an enriching teaching-learning environment for children with special needs, in a synchronization with their Child Rights and neurodiversity-based cognitive disposition.
