 Abstract

Lohardaga Forest Division is a biodiversity rich area, but its avifaunal diversity has not been properly studied and the avifauna of Lohardaga Forest Division is still unknown. In order to fill up this lacuna, this survey was carried out to document the avifaunal diversity and abundance in the Lohardaga Forest Division for ongoing and future biodiversity actions. A total number of 3,213 birds belonging to 147 species grouped into 56 families were recorded from Lohardaga Forest Division during the study period. Out of these 2,270 were recorded from wetland habitats and 943 birds were recorded from forest habitats. Birds recorded from wetland habitats belongs to 78 species grouped into 28 family and birds recorded from forest habitats belongs to 77 species grouped into 28 families. The maximum number of birds was recorded at site 1, (1426) followed by Site 3, (642), site 8 (207), site 2 (202), and the minimum number was seen at site 5 (106). The Anatidae family shows the highest species richness in the study sites (9 species), followed by Ardeidae and Muscicapidae (8 species each), Accipitridae (7 species), Cuculidae (6 species), Cisticolidae, Charadriidae (5 species each), Sturnidae, Rallidae, Phasianidae, Motacillidae, Megalaimidae, Dicaeidae, Columbidae, Campephagidae (4 species each), Scolopacidae, Picidae, Oriolidae, Corvidae, Ciconiidae, Alcedinidae (3 species each), Threskiornithidae, Strigidae, Pycnonotidae, Psittaculidae, Podicipedidae, Phalacrocoracidae, Apodidae, Leiothrichidae, Laridae, Laniidae, Jacanidae, Hirundinidae, Estrildidae (2 species each) and Zosteropidae, Vangidae, Upupidae, Tytonidae, Turdidae, Timaliidae, Sittidae, Rhipiduridae, Ploceidae, Pittidae, Pellorneidae, Passeridae, Nectariniidae, Monarchidae, Meropidae, Falconidae, Coraciidae, Caprimulgidae, Bucerotidae, Alaudidae, Aegithinidae (1 species each). Among the avifauna, 114 (78%) were residents, 31 (20%) were winter migrants, 1 (1%) summer migrants and 1 (1%) Local migratory. The species richness of the selected sites varied from 28 to 67, while overall diversity value ranged from 0.94 to 3.86. Relative abundance of species recorded during this study was 43 rares, 21 irregulars, 53 scarces, 21 commons and 9 abundants. Among the recorded species all were placed in Least Concern category as per IUCN 3.1. According to Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 six Schedule-I species, 135 Schedule-IV species, one Schedule-V species were recorded, and rest were recorded in Not Listed category.

 Abstract

Skin is the most delicate and vulnerable part of the human body, thus it is essential to protect it. Skin preparations include gel lotion, ointment, cream, peel of mask, and so on. Peel-off masks are dosage forms that are delicately applied to the facial skin surface and then peeled off after a few minutes. Herbal formulations are becoming increasingly popular on the global market. Herbal face masks are used to improve blood circulation, which helps to retain skin suppleness and eliminate debris from skin pores. The major advantage of herbal cosmetics is that they are non-toxic and decrease allergic responses. It is used as a cure to treat face skin problems such as tightening of skin, moisturising of skin, removing tan from the skin, glowing of skin, and removing dirt from skin pores. In this post, we created a bael fruit peel mask and tested it using several test methods. In this post, we created a mask out of bael fruit peel and tested it using several ways. Following its application, the formulation produced astounding results. The active ingredients in this composition include bael fruit pulp powder and aloevera. Using it as an active component in a peel off mask increases its value by improving the peel off mask's role in absorbing dust particles and moisturising the skin.

 Abstract

Soft skills are important because they help people to interact with each other effectively. In the workplace, developing soft skills can help employees to become better communicators, leaders, and problem solvers. Soft skills can be difficult to learn and practice, so studying them is an essential part of career advancement. The need for soft skills study by authors in the review of literature has been increasing in recent years. Many studies have highlighted the importance of soft skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving and decision-making for successful business performance. In addition, researchers have pointed out that these skills are imperative to career success, particularly in an increasingly competitive market. Furthermore, employers are placing a greater emphasis on these abilities when recruiting new hires. Therefore, it is essential that authors conducting a review of literature carefully consider the various factors of soft skills and evaluate the impact of soft skills on organizational performance and outcomes.

 Abstract

In today's era, vehicles are integral part of day-to-day life. Vehicle owners can minimize any problems or issues by regularly maintaining/servicing vehicles. Due to busy schedule of vehicle owner as well as long waiting time on service centre it is very difficult to get service of their vehicles within manageable time. By keeping the tight schedule of vehicle owner as well as service centre, we have developed a web application to automatize the entire service process. We have done thorough study of existing body of knowledge to evaluate the day-to-day activities/operations and transactions carried out within service centres. The researchers collected preliminary data and concluded that most of the service centres/garages still rely on traditional manual transactions. In this paper, authors have proposed an effective and efficient web-based portal for vehicle maintenance/service which can automatically control the entire manual process performed in the service centre while monitoring the repairs and services. Regular vehicle servicing is necessary to carry out checks different component of the vehicle in order to make sure proper and efficient operation of the vehicle. This system is beneficial for garage owners / admin user, mechanics and customers.

 Abstract

One of the greatest inconveniences of building a world house is the exorbitant cost of the structure. The significant expense of building houses beneath the destitution line is quite possibly of the main human issue. Then again, expanding urbanization increments squander, particularly non-inexhaustible ones. A fitting way to deal with such a circumstance is to utilize a piece of the family squander as important materials for the development of the house, and furthermore to guarantee an agreeable space and satisfactory intensity for the occupants of the house. A plastic jug is viewed as a family squander that has strength properties and can be utilized as a material in house development rather than an ordinary material like block. The motivation behind this paper is to explore the utilization of plastic jugs as [1,2] civil waste in one structure and how this can prompt supportability. It likewise makes reference to far to set up and protect them concerning intensity and sound, and a few positive focuses that this material has over others. At last, it was reasoned that plastic jugs can be more productive contrasted with some regular structure materials, for example, block, concrete and ceramic block as far as different factors, for example, lead time, cost, conveying limit, adaptability, waste and energy proficiency.[5,6]

 Abstract

The effects of global warming make it difficult to plant in an uncontrolled environment. In the traditional way of farming, farmers require quality soil with natural mineral strength. It also requires labour costs for ploughing and weeding, and also requires a large amount of space and water. In the case of seasonal crops, the yield does not meet the needs of customers and the expectations of farmers in terms of productivity. For these reasons, a management method is needed that requires less cost factor requirements and is also easy to maintain and control important factors such as light, water temperature and humidity throughout the year. This proposed work presents a hydroponic style of farming, which is a way of growing plants without soil or sunlight. In this method, plants are grown with only the roots exposed to a mixture of ash fertilizer and water instead of underground soil. This method is a type of indoor farming style that is independent of the weather and also avoids the cost of ploughing and labour. Irrigation and humidity control is done using a microcontroller kit connected to a wireless sensor network with internet that senses humidity, temperature and water level. Using this IOT technology, an authorized person could monitor the growth status of plants in real time from a remote location. This technology helps effectively in the development of agriculture with minimal use of resources. Key words: - IOT, Intelligent Hydroponic Style, Wireless sensor Network
