The spectacular and unprecedented growth of FDI in the global economic landscape over the last two decades has made it an integral part of the development strategy of both the developed and developing nations. It acts as a major catalyst in the development of a country through up-gradation of technology, managerial skills and capabilities in various sectors. Rise in purchasing power, growing consumerism and brand proliferation has led to retail modernization in India. The following article talks about FDI or Foreign Direct Investment in India. Many people are in favour of FDI & many people are against it. But after taking into consideration all the arguments in favour & against FDI one can safely conclude that it has more merits than demerits attached to it & the Indian government must go for it if it wants India to progress further & become a super power.

“India is developing country. The main occupation is agriculture, because 70 per cent of the population is involved in this occupation. This paper examines the ways in which greater integration through agriculture impact women. This paper finds that agriculture creates many jobs for women in agriculture sector. Jobs that bring many household resources under women control leads to greater earnings in the family. Although, women are more than ever finally employed, differences in wages earned by women and men persist in India. Due to these reasons and women’s lower education level compel the women have a greater tendency to remain in subsistence agriculture. The impact of liberalization and globalization on women is important not only because they represent almost half of the total population, but also because they face constraints, which make them less beneficial from the liberalization. Once different impacts are ascertained well designed policy responses may aid women in taking advantage of greater openness to agriculture.”

“Economists usually see this rise in regionalism as hindrance to economic reforms. However, for Federalists and political scientists this is deepening of democracy.” There is no single pure model of federation that is applicable everywhere. Rather the basic notion of involving the combination of shared rule for some purposes and self-rule for others within a single political system so that neither is subordinate to the other has been applied in different ways to fit different circumstances. Regionalism has remained perhaps the most potent force in Indian politics ever since independence (1947), if not before. As a study of the interaction between federalism and regionalism in India, this paper seeks to focus on Indian federalism as a method of accommodation of regionalism in India. Federalism is seen here as a political equilibrium, which results from the appropriate balance between shared rule and self-rule.

“This global development is sometimes viewed as being responsible for exploitation, and other forms of human rights abuses. On the other hand, improvements in human rights are sometimes attributed to the spread of liberal ideas and movements, which is one of the key dimensions of globalization. Critics say human rights have been adversely affected by globalization for instance right to equality and other socio economic rights. The commitment of the United Nations to the indivisibility of human rights is reflected in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Human rights are the first responsibility of governments. While globalization offers great opportunities, the fact that its benefits are very unevenly shared and its costs unevenly distributed represents an aspect of the process that affects the full enjoyment of all human rights, in particular in developing countries. Inequality has risen during this present globalization period. In this paper an attempt has been made to highlight the impact of globalization on human rights regime.”

Swami Vivekanand- “The Best thermometer to the progress of nation is its treatment of women”. Globalisation can be a major force for prosperity, this paper will give an overview of what the forces of globalisation have in store for the women of India. A large group of working women of India are in the rural and unorganised sectors. Socially the majority of Indian women are still tradition bound and are in a disadvantageous position. Since globalisation is opening up the Indian economy suddenly at a very high speed, without the required economic and social policies to provide the much required safety net, women who have been involved with production in the traditional ways, have to cope with numerous problems and yet try to avail of the opportunities which an open economy promises.

With recent and advanced technological development in agriculture hybrid seed production has become more complex so proper planning requires for successful operation, The hybrid seed production is systematically organized, carefully planned and cross- pollinated crops give higher yield, hence to improve crop productivity, produce quality of seed out of their resources. It is the deliberate and conscious effort on the part of seed grower to think about the seed programme in advance and adjust them according to new knowledge on technological development , changes in physical and economic situations, price structure, etc. To increase agricultural production, viability of quality seed is one of the pre requisite, Neither the poor quality seed of superior variety nor the higher quality seed of inferior variety can serve the former satisfaction, seeds are very vital and dynamic instrument for increasing agriculture production, A grain of corn is an example of single seeded fruit that is known as seed. It is a magnificent invention of nature, which are the basic and recurring sources of food production.

This paper deals with, design of SRF based Dynamic voltage restorer with battery energy storage system. The DVR consist of voltage source converter coupled with energy storage system .In this paper a new controlled technique is proposed to control the capacitor supported DVR. The reference injected voltage are estimated or (generated using synchronous reference), power quality, voltage sag, voltage swell, SRF based frame theory) Hence the SRF based DVR compensated all voltage related power quality issues the detail analytical study and evaluation by the proposed topology with DVR systems and validated through simulation results

George F. Walker, one of the eminent playwrights of the Canadian theatre. He observed a note once, calling for scripts at the newly created factory theatre lab, while he was driving a taxi. It was the moment when he decided to try his hand at writing plays. He started his career of playwriting with a one-act play, Prince of Naples, a farce with two characters. The problem of criminality takes the major berth in the plays of Walker. His concern towards the problem of criminality is similar to that of Edward Bond, towards violence. Both the playwrights seem to have similarity in their commitment in dealing with the seriousness of the contemporary problems.

The human personality is the most significant bit of the human body whether it is scrutinizing a book or watching a film the cerebrum is incorporated everywhere. A Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is a relationship in which a brain recognizes and controls a mechanical device as a trademark bit of its depiction of the body, for instance, control of a cursor or a prosthetic member.
