Colonialism is a historical phenomenon that has left an indelible mark on the world. It has influenced the development of societies and cultures both during and after the colonial era. Its effects can still be felt today, not only in the former colonies but also in the countries that once colonized them. These legacies, while complex and varied, continue to shape the political, economic, and social landscape of our global community. In 'Afterlives', Abdulrazak Gurnah delves into the themes of colonialism and identity, focusing on characters living on the fringes of society. Through their stories, Gurnah sheds light on the multifaceted and enduring effects of colonialism on the formation of identity. The novel serves as a poignant reminder of the need to confront the past in order to understand the present and build a better future. The novel effectively explores themes of oppression, genocide, rebellion, and retribution perpetrated by German colonial rule in Africa. Specifically, it focuses on the brutal colonial rule of Germany in East Africa in the early 20th century, infamous for its cruelty, oppression, and violence. Germany committed the first genocide of the 20th century in the 1904 extermination campaign to quash the uprising in Namibia. Germany's deadly military tactics were also implemented across the continent in East Africa or Deutsch-Ostafrika. Gurnah's masterpiece 'Afterlives' delves into the terror that was unleashed in Tanzania and its profound impact on the lives of uprooted and migrating individuals. The present paper is an attempt to examine how the novel portrays the impact of colonialism on identity formation and the ways in which the characters navigate their sense of self in the face of oppression. It also hopes to explore how Gurnah uses the stories of marginalized characters to shed light on the broader impact of colonialism on society. This research paper aims to further explore the theme of colonialism in 'Afterlives' by examining the perspectives of characters from marginalized backgrounds. Through analysis of their experiences, this paper aims to gain insight into how colonialism has impacted the construction of identity and how individuals navigate their personal histories within a larger historical context. Ultimately, this paper emphasizes the enduring effects of colonialism and the importance of amplifying the voices of those who have been historically silenced.

It's probable that two factors contribute in some measure to the yearly increase in the population of impaired individuals. Some people suffer terrible catastrophes, whereas some people are born with it. It's possible that these paralysed people can't speak since speech is so important to our survival. Although they cannot speak or use their hands to communicate, they may be able to control their eye movements and have good vision. Hence, we propose an affordable eye motion based eye gazing communication system. The Eye Gaze project aims to use a human's eye gaze through a computer interface. The phrase "eye gaze communication" describes using a computer system that tracks a person's eye movement. The method is eye tracking.

A microstrip patch antenna (MSPA) is designed using integrated feed to improve the efficiency of the MSPA. The integrated feed comprises of microstrip line and probe feed. The proposed antenna gives efficiency of -1 dB as compared to probe feed antenna with efficiency of -0.5 dB . The attained efficiency is much better than the antenna with microstrip feed and gives efficiency of only -4.5 dB.

The Single Window System is a platform for the electronic submission and processing of trade-related documents and information. It aims to streamline the process of importing and exporting goods by allowing traders to submit all required documents through a single portal, rather than having to go through multiple agencies and channels. This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Single window system in terms of benefits received and challenges faced by various countries. Using data from the UN, WTO, UNECE, CEFACT, WCO, ESCAP and other sources, the study analyzes the benefits received in various aspects and challenges countries have to overcome to in implementation of single window system. The study also examines the role of the Single window in promoting transparency and reducing corruption in trade-related processes. The results of the study show that the single window system has had a significant positive impact on Countries international trade and performance of such agencies, reducing the time and cost involved in trading, improving the competitiveness of the country, and contributing to the growth of trade volumes.

TThis study is mainly focused on improving the strength of paver blocks using granite powder with concrete Paver blocks are commonly used as decorative method of creating a pavement .The main benefit is that the bricks can be separately lifted up and replaced. It does not require a lot of maintenance. Concrete is a combination of cement, aggregate and water. In this experiment Concrete Block Pavement (CBP) are formed from individual solid blocks that fit closely next to one another to form a pavement surface. CBP is placed with a variety of spaces and pattern. The block which is used in this project has a space of BI-ARC and having a dimension of 260 x 110 x 80 mm (or) 26 x 11 x 8 cm. In this study compressive strength test, Split tensile strength test are conducted in M40 grade concrete. Different portion of granite powder in the percentage of 10%, 20%, 50% were added to the concrete. In future, there is going to be a time when there will be scarcity for cement. So, we have used granite powder to reduce cement usage for producing paver block

India and Bangladesh are the largest trading partners in the South Asia and have an important role in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). In recent years, political initiatives of confidence building measures have shaped their areas of mutual economic cooperation. India has adopted the process of liberalization process, openness, transparency and globalization, while Bangladesh has changed its economy according to the WTO framework. Trend of commodity composition of India's trade to Bangladesh can be estimated by trade intensity indices. Foreign direct investment and foreign remittances received by Bangladesh could contribute to reduce the deficit balance of trade.

Right to Information is a basic human right of every human being. The renowned French philosopher Michel Foucault once opined, power is derived from knowledge and information is the basic component of knowledge. Information changes the mentality of people and it is competent enough to cope up with the modern world. The free access to information and participation of people in government decisions develops the transformation of the governance into good governance. So, it is the duty of government to inform citizens about day to day happenings whatever within the government. The parliament of India passed the Right to information act, 2005, to foster Accountability, Transparency, Strengthens the Democratic Principles of Polity and reduces Corruption. The right to information Act 2005 is a comprehensive legislation enacted to confer statutory rights on the citizens of India for seeking information from any public authority. This has opened new vistas of governance through transparency and accountability in administration. True democracy cannot exist unless all citizens have a right to participate in the affairs of the polity of the country. The right to participate in the affairs of the country is meaningless unless the citizens are well informed on all sides of the issues in respect of which they are called upon to express their views. A successful posits an 'aware citizenry'. One sided information, disinformation, misinformation and non-information makes democracy a farce. Right to information can be used to elevate democracy to participatory democracy. This paper tries to highlight the role of RTI in good governance and some recommendations for successful functioning of RTI act.
