The Indian economy is the fourth largest economy of the world on the basis of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP). It is one of the most attractive destinations for business and investment opportunities due to huge manpower base, diversified natural resources and strong macro-economic fundamentals. Also, the process of economic reforms initiated since 1991 has been providing an investor-friendly environment through a liberalised policy framework spanning the whole economy, were retail industry plays a major role.Retailing in India is one of the pillars of its economy and accounts for about 15% of its GDP.India's retail and logistics industry, organized and unorganized in combination, employs about 40 million Indians (3.3% of Indian population). The Retail Business in India is currently at the point of inflection. Current paper deals with a critical analysis of the prospects and problems of introducing FDI in Indian retail industry in past years with special emphasis on multi brand retail. The study will cover the majoraspects of FDI intervention, its positive and negative bearings on Indian retail industry. As now FDI has allowed in most of the industrial sector. In current economic & social conditions, FDI can be a hope for development or it can be a threat to domestic players & other related intermediaries. Many experts believe that FDI can bring positive changes, but on the other hand some critics have spoken adversely about this move. Present study is an effort to evaluate the pros and cons of FDI in Indian retail Industry in multi brand as we already seen its effect on single brand. It is a review based analysis.

This study examines TVS Motors' capital budgeting decisions and the utilization of two tools: the Average Rate of Return (ARR) and the Karl Pearson coefficient of correlation. Capital budgeting involves evaluating potential investments to determine which projects are most likely to generate positive returns. The ARR method calculates the average annual profit of an investment relative to its initial cost, providing a simple metric for decision-making. The Karl Pearson coefficient of correlation, on the other hand, assesses the relationship between two variables, such as investment returns and project risk factors, helping managers understand the potential impact of various factors on investment outcomes. By employing these tools, TVS Motors can make informed decisions regarding capital allocation and maximize shareholder value.

One's attitude toward one's work is referred to as job satisfaction. If an employee receives more than or if their expectations are met, then they feel satisfied. The principal aim of the study is to analyze the conceptual basis of job satisfaction in the banking sector and examine the level of job satisfaction among bank employees in Devakottai. In this article, we used 100 bank employees' responses as a representative sample. We then took five hypotheses, including ones on age, gender, qualification, income, and experience; of these, three were rejected and the other two were approved.

In industry and domestic applications, Induction Motors account for more than 85% of all motors used However, DC Motors require commutators and brushes which are hazardous and require maintenance. Hence Induction Motors are preferred. As many of the industries use induction motors. So, controlling of induction motor plays a very vital role. We use Wi Fi module to control circuit which is connected to the motor. Wi Fi is interfaced with microcontroller. The Wi Fi module sends the signal to AVR Microcontroller. The AVR microcontrollers decodes the signal and send to the opto-coupler then respective opto-coupler activates its circuit and give the change in speed of induction motor with respect to change in a firing angle of TRIAC.

The integrated parking system revolutionizes parking management by seamlessly combining hardware and software components. At its core lies an Arduino microcontroller, orchestrating operations within both vehicle and parking area sections. Users initiate the parking process through an intuitive IoT webpage interface, swiftly transmitting booking data to the receiver section. Leveraging Zigbee communication, the microcontroller interacts with embedded sensors in each parking slot to determine occupancy status, providing real-time updates on slot availability via the IoT webpage. RFID technology facilitates floor navigation, while LEDs visually indicate slot statuses. If unauthorized parking occurs, user alerts prompt confirmation for reallocation. Inside vehicles, sensors monitor for anomalies, triggering alerts when necessary. A GPS module allows users to mark their vehicle's location for easy retrieval. Continuous vehicle detection ensures efficient slot occupancy tracking, enhancing overall parking management efficiency and delivering a seamless user experience.

The strong sulfonylurea derivative glimepiride has become well-known as an efficient oral antidiabetic medication for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Glimepiride synthesis aids in the development of scalable and effective industrial production procedures, in addition to advancing our knowledge of its chemical structure. The importance of glimepiride in the treatment of diabetes emphasizes the need for more research to optimize its synthesis for a wider range of therapeutic uses. In order to create the intermediate sulphonamide, 3-ethyl-4-methyl-1H-pyrrol-2(5H)-one carbamate must first be prepared. This is followed by a reaction with 4-(2-amino-ethyl) benzene sulphonamide. Glimepiride and a novel purification method for rans-4-methyl cyclohexylamine HC1 and 4-[2-(3-Ethyl-4-methyl-2-carbony1 pyrrolidine amido) ethyl]benzene sulphonamide, which were utilized in the synthesis of glimepiride, were produced by this sulphonamide when it reacted with phenyl (trans-4-methylcyclohexyl)carbamate. Glimepiride is quickly absorbed when taken orally, and its strong ability to bind proteins affects where it ends up in the body. Glimepiride's broad hepatic metabolism, mainly through cytochrome P450 enzymes, offers a number of advantages over sulfonylurea therapy, which is now widely and effectively used for NIDDM patients. These advantages could make glimepiride a potentially significant advancement in therapy.

Abstract: The 42nd Amendment to India's Constitution strengthened its secular status, mandating a neutral stance in religious affairs. Blasphemy, derived from the Greek verb, refers to disrespectful or offensive words or statements towards religious persons, groups, activities, or beliefs. Anti-blasphemy laws aim to ban the expression of disrespect or offensive comments towards religious persons, groups, activities, or beliefs. These laws are among the oldest laws created to combat hate speech. The rationale for anti-blasphemy laws is multifaceted and influenced by historical, religious, and political considerations. Blasphemy is often seen as a grave offence against sacred beliefs by numerous religions, as they uphold the sanctity of God and his teachings. Governments may employ criminal legislation to enforce religious ideals in regions where religion holds significant societal influence. Religious sentiments are regarded as essential ethical and societal principles that influence human conduct and social structure, and their safeguarding is seen as a necessary condition for stable governance. Legal provisions dealing with blasphemy include Section 295 for causing harm or defiling a place of worship, Article 295A for intentional and evil actions to provoke strong negative emotions within a particular religious group, Article 296 for disruption of religious gatherings, and Article 297 for trespassing on burial places or places of worship to cause emotional harm or insult religious sentiments. Section 295A threatens fundamental basic liberties. Blasphemy laws originated in premodern societies governed by nonsecular and undemocratic systems. They restricted freedom of speech and expression in response to societal reactions, diminished individual liberties, and allowed specific parts of society to suppress opposing views. Unlike hate speech, blasphemy comments may not automatically involve hate or violence and should not be regulated by blasphemy laws. Instead, governments should promote acceptance and discourage using religious beliefs to suppress opposing views. To alleviate the detrimental impact of blasphemy laws on journalists, authorities should have more specific and meticulously crafted blasphemy legislation, demonstrate criminal intent and foreseeability, and avoid discrimination based on religious beliefs. Additionally, states should reject the recognition of blasphemy convictions with INTERPOL-triggered arrest warrants or assessments of journalists' visas.
