ABSTRACT Nosocomial or healthcare associated infections (HCAI) appear in a patient under medical care in the hospital or other health care facility which was absent at the time of admission. These infections can occur during healthcare delivery for other diseases and even after the discharge of the patients. Additionally, they comprise occupational infections among the medical staff. Invasive devices such as catheters and ventilators employed in modern health care are associated to these infections. Populations at stake are patients in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), burn units, undergoing organ transplant and neonates. In pediatric unit Hospital Acquired Infection presents a different set of challenges than adult general ward Hospital Acquired Infection measures consider being successful. The present A study to assess the effectiveness of informational booklet regarding Hospital Acquired Infection and its prevention among the parents of under five year children in pediatric unit of SMIH Patel Nagar Dehradun AIM: To assess the effectiveness of informational booklet on knowledge regarding Hospital Acquired Infection among patients of under five year children at SMIH, Patel Nagar Dehradun OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY 1. To assess the knowledge of hospital acquired infection among parents of under five 2. To assess the effectiveness of information booklet program on hospital acquired infection through knowledge score. 3. To find the difference between pre-test and post-test knowledge score. METHODOLOGY The nature of the study was pre-experimental. The study was conducted in SMIH, Patel Nagar, Dehradun, the research design use for the study was one group pre-test and post- test design. Data collected by using structured questionnaire. The data collected for to assess the effectiveness of information booklet on knowledge regarding hospital acquired infection among parents under five children. RESULT According to the score between 0-9 had inadequate knowledge (78%) and 10-17 had moderate knowledge (22%) about Hospital Acquired Infection. CONCLUSION: It can concluded that pre- test knowledge score was less amount in parents. After implementing informational booklet the knowledge the knowledge score was increased. So it was affected in increasing knowledge.

This research paper aimed to study the use of 3D animation and computer graphics among the computer graphics undergraduate learners. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of 3D animation and Computer Graphics (CG) as a tool for enhancing learning outcomes. Specifically, this study aims to identify the benefits and challenges of using 3D animation and CG in the classroom, and explore the most effective methods of integrating these technologies into the teaching and learning process. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics such as paired-samples t-tests to determine the knowledge gained before and after exposure to 3D animation and CG. Three-dimensional (3D) animation and computer graphics (CG) was highly effective in enhancing classroom learning experiences. Here are some of the key findings on their effectiveness: Improved Visual Representation: 3D animations and CG provided a more realistic and accurate visual representation of complex concepts, making it easier for students to understand abstract concepts that may be difficult to visualize. Enhanced Engagement: The use of 3D animations and CG can increase student engagement and interest in the subject matter, making learning more enjoyable and effective. Flexibility: Digital animations and CG provided instructors with the flexibility to demonstrate complex processes in a way that may be challenging to replicate in real life, providing students with a more complete understanding of the subject matter. Interactivity: The interactive nature of 3D animations and CG enables students to interact with the learning material in a way that promotes greater understanding and retention of the concepts being taught. This research concluded that the use of 3D animation and cg in the classroom environment was very beneficial.

In today's world, wireless communication systems are extremely important for applications related to entertainment, business, commerce, health, and safety. The deployment of fifth generation (5G) wireless technologies is currently taking place all around the world as these systems continue to advance from one generation to the next. Beyond 5G wireless systems, which will represent the sixth generation (6G) of the evolution, are already being discussed in academia and industry. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to such wireless networks will be one of the primary and essential elements of 6G systems. According to our present understanding of wireless technologies up to 5G, every component and building block of a wireless system, such as the physical, network, and application layers, will involve one or more of them. Here we try to use several ML algorithms to identify the suitable aspects related to the deployment of 5g and above networks by taking several features and ml algorithms into account. By comparing several algorithms we finally conclude which algorithm is best among several algorithms.

Anterior neck injuries are variable according to their extent, depth and cause. These can be intentional or accidental. The injuries may be penetrating or non-penetrating. Injury to certain anatomic structures (e.g, carotid or subclavian vessels) may be fatal in two thirds of cases. Management of injuries that penetrate the platysma depends upon the anatomic level of injury. A retrospective study of 38 cases of cut throat injury presenting as emergency were managed over a two year period from August 2020 to August 2022. They were analysed for details of age, sex, etiology, nature of injury and surgical procedures for management and their complications. A total of 38 cases of cut throat injuries were reviewed. 32 males, 6 females with age ranging from 16 to 80 years. 18 cases were as a result of road traffic accident, 13 cases were suicidal, 7 cases were attempted homicidal. Sharp knife was used in all cases of attempted suicide and 80% cases of human assault. One patient developed wound dehiscence in post-operative period and one developed change in voice. Cut throat injuries presenting as emergency differ in etiology, extent, and depth. Early intervention in the form of airway management and meticulous repair layer by layer is needed for surgical repair. Complications developed as a result of bad initial management & poor health of patients. Proper initial management & early repair of the cut-throat injury reduces complications and post-operative morbidity. Post-operative follow-up for at least one year is needed to avoid delayed complications and hence morbidity.

The impact of colonialism changes the lives of colonized people upside down. East Africa no longer remained their own and have no land of their own. Their fate and destiny were decided by the colonizers. The present paper presents the wretched conditions of the major characters of the native East Africans and the displacement of their soul and body by the German colonizers. The paper discusses the major aspects associated with the problems of the subaltern as reflected in the novel. The study also brings to light the impact of colonization, the problems of immigration, refugees, and racism in general.

In this paper, it is examined that how Alice Walker's novel The Color Purple contributes to the ideas of ecological consciousness and environmental protection, by using a combination of ecocriticism and feminist criticism. It is analyzed that how the portrayal of women and nature in the novel draws connections between the oppression of women and the exploitation of nature by male dominance. Using an ecofeminist perspective, the paper concludes that Alice Walker's novel promotes the liberation of women and nature from domination and violence, and envisions a future where there is no oppression of women or exploitation of the environment.

Objective - Seek out research that indicates whether the Q angle aids or hinders particular sports. Methodology- Using an online bibliographical database, we were able to find articles published in journals between 1998 and 2021. All the studies that were used in the meta-analysis were of high quality. Thirty-one studies were suitable in every way. Result - It was determined through statistical analysis that the Q angle might have both positive and negative effects on several sports. Most studies have shown that patellar alignment is affected by both positive and negative variations in Q angle. Conclusion-Statistical analysis suggests that Q angle may have both positive and negative effects on a wide range of sports. Q angle has been shown to influence patellar alignment both positively and negatively.
