Turning at high speeds has emerged as a key manufacturing technology in machining of different metals and alloys. Turning at high speed is performed on the order of five to ten times the conventional cutting speed. It is advantageous in many ways like reduction in cutting forces and temperature, low power consumption, improvement in surface finish, high MRR, better dimensional accuracy and better part quality [1, 2]. In order to achieve the quality output, it is necessary to optimize the process parameters (like speed, feed, depth of cut, nose radius) during the high speed machining of alloy. The study applies Taguchi's design of experiment methodology and grey relational analysis to optimize the process parameters in turning aluminum alloy AA7075-T6 material, a high strength aluminum alloy used for aerospace application using coated carbide insert under dry environment condition and having four type insert nose radius such as 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2 mm. Experiment have been carried out based on L16 standard orthogonal array design with four process parameters namely cutting speed, feed rate , Depth of cut and nose radius for surface roughness and Material removal rate

: We get intimate so much in modern approach that forgot the natural resources which we can be used in our designs. Now-a-days we can see the excessive use of artificial ways for thermal like HVAC (heat ventilation and air conditioning). If we go into our ancient era, we know that how they practices the passive way for air conditioning and heating. So we can grasp from our ancient heritage buildings to achieve thermal comfort in passive manner. This paper discusses about the energy efficient solutions, that are be used in our ancient times. There is passive architecture we have, where we can discover techniques for energy efficient solution and also the ancient architectural practices which can be used for natural cooling and heating in today’s architecture where we are lacking.

The satisfactory performance of the pavement will result in higher savings in terms of vehicle operating costs and travel time, which has a bearing on the overall economic feasibility of the project. This study discuss about the most economical method (CBR) as per IRC for the design of flexible pavement. Flexible pavement are preferred over cement concrete roads as they have a great advantage that these can be strengthened and improved in stages with the growth of traffic and also their surfaces can be milled and recycled for rehabilitation. The flexible pavements are less expensive also with regard to initial investment and maintenance. This total work includes collection of data required (traffic and leveling) and its analysis for flexible pavement design and cost estimation procedure which is very much useful to engineer who deals with highways.

This study is focused on different drying methods of dehydrated tomato powder. Tomato were selected and collected according to their uniform size, freshness and cleanliness (free from dirt, twigs, soil, dust etc). The sample was packed in polyethylene bag and stored at refrigeration temperature in airtight box at the laboratory until use. The slices of tomatoes were used for different treatments such as sun drying, Oven drying, Vacuum drying, Spray drying. The best blanching and drying treatments were evaluated based on the physio-chemical analysis and organoleptic properties of the dried product. Effects of drying methods on the values Physico-chemical properties of dehydrated tomato powder like, Moisture content, Protein Content, Fibre,..etc was determined in Spray dried dehydrated tomato powder and sun dried tomatoes followed these samples.

Irrigation of crops consumes a substantial quantity of water and that must be used judiciously. The study reported here is an attempt to understand the role of satellite remote sensing and GIS in improving the irrigation efficiency of canal irrigation. The main objective of this paper is to identify the gaps between the irrigation potential created and utilised and suggesting new canals to the gap identified areas inorder to increase the irrigation by using high resolution satellite data , SOI toposheets, slope and DEM to the Tungabhadra left bank command area, finding the cropping pattern violations and degraded lands.

A mother is said to be the first school for her child. The moment the child is boon; mother's instincts, affection, standards and ideals eventually shape her child. The healthy development of the child depends almost exclusively upon mother-child relationship. In this study an attempt has been made to study the hyperactivity and anxiety level of the children of working and non-working mothers. It is a descriptive study. The sample consists up fifty children of Jagadhri block twenty five children belonging to working and twenty five children non working mothers. Analysis and interpretation of data has been due with the help of M, MD, SF and 't' ratio.

The present paper gives a pedagogical analysis of teaching in higher secondary level. In the Teaching Learning Programe both concept and pedagogy play important roles. Only educators and expert in both can deliver the goods rightly in class room situations. Considering the above aspect the present study will provide the reason as to why students commit spelling mistakes and will also device ways and meaning by which habits of wrong spelling may be replaced by correct ones.

Free space optics is a potential communication technology that has many advantages such as high speed and large bandwidth. In this work, a cost effective spectrum sliced free space optical communication system is proposed by employing spectrum broadening in highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF). Self phase modulation is used to widen the narrow optical carrier spectrum of laser source and SPM generates high power spectrum slices that are well competent to support 2.5 Gbps data speed. Furthermore, in order to analyze the system, different modulation formats such as compressed spectrum return to zero (CSRZ), return to zero and non return to zero are incorporated. Various physical parameters such as antenna diameters and beam divergence effects are also studied in terms of Q factor and BER.

The IoT concept enables creation of the smart environments connecting with the citizens and shaping the cities around the world by offering a range of smart services with aim to increase the quality of life in the cities. Connecting the environments with people requires an interface offering a rich user experience able to engage and present the relevant information that fulfills the purpose of the service. The main goal is to raise community awareness of the importance of the environmental issues, in particular the air quality and effect on the human health of the air pollution. This task requires innovative methodologies and several approaches in attracting large participation and involvement in the activities related to these concerns. It is therefore important to present solutions that will be innovative, engaging and at the same time educational. The implementation of IoT concept is fulfilled by using ARM CORTEX which will enable faster computations of the data collected from the virtual cloud space using ADAFruit Server. This allows instructions and data accesses to take place at the same time, and as a result of this, the performance of the processor increases because data accesses do not affect the instruction pipeline. Thus The ARM subsystem will support IoT market growth by reducing development risk and enabling companies to quickly create products. Companies expected to license the subsystem include analog sensor makers and companies looking to add IoT connectivity to existing designs.

The theoretical approach to the ML induced by the application of loads on coloured alkali halide crystals to make comparisons between the theoretical and experimental results. It is shown that the time-constant for the rise of pressure and the pinning time of dislocations and the work hardening exponent can be determined from the measurement of the time dependence of ML and the pressure dependence of ML.
