 Abstract

Opsoclonus-Myoclonus-Syndrome is a rare autoimmune disorder in which the body targets the nervous system, causing a variety of symptoms. Presented with triad of symptoms Opsoclonus, myoclonus, ataxia and is most often associated with tumors or infection. Most toddlers are misdiagnosed with childhood acute cerebral ataxia instead of Opsoclonus-myoclonus-ataxia syndrome. Case Report: A 3.5 year old male presented with complained of being unable to walk, stand, crawl, or speak, as well as strange movements (both limbs), persistent gradually escalating jerky movements that vanished while he was sleeping, up rolling of the eyeball, and irregular blinking. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed that Few T2 and FLAIR hyper intense foci are noted in bilateral periventricular deep white matter possibility of myelin pallor. The treatment started with immunosuppressant and anticonvulsants. Conclusion: We show that Opsoclonus-myoclonus associated with ataxia in children is usually misdiagnosed with childhood acute cerebral ataxia. Our findings emphasised the need of increasing awareness of OMS accompanied with ataxia as a serious and curable illness. We feel our findings are important because they give clinical experience that might aid in a better understanding of this condition.

 Abstract

An investigation to ascertain the radon level as well as radon exhalation rates from soil samples collected from different locations in Dibrugarh district of Assam with the help of LR115(Type II) detectors using Can technique is presented in this article.Radium concentration observed for soil samples has been found to be varying from 1.39 Bq/Kg to 3.05 Bq/Kg for Duliajan. The Radon exhalation rate in these samples has been found to be varying from 0.81 to 1.97 mBqm-2 h-1. A positive correlations with (R2 =0.947) have been found between radon exhalation rate and radium concentration in the samples for the investigated areas. The obtained results indicate normal levels of indoor radon concentration and effective radium content in all locations of the studied area

 Abstract

The photo catalytic removal by using semiconductors especially TiO2 and SiO2 composite (TSC) were used out in presence of light to observe good semiconducting property. Preparation, characterization and applications of semiconducting materials were studied. The purification of the Wastewater in presence of photo catalysts were carried out. The photocatalysts remove of dyes, heavy metals and hardazous organic compound. The time required for photo catalytic degradation is different for different effluent samples, varied from 60 to 180 min. Parameters like band gap; Dose of Catalysts concentrations of effluent, pH, etc were studied. Studies. Results of the study showed that dyes removal in the dark was very low for the three types of Nano materials under the study conditions used. However, appreciable removal of dyes and metals was observed when using TSC for UV lights, the degradation of the dye by using semiconducting materials were characterized by XRD, and SEM analysis before and after application of photo catalysts.

 Abstract

In the present research soap synthesized with natural Neem Leaves (Azadirachta indica), Lemon Leaves (Citrus limon), Mango Leaves (Mengifera indica L.), Aloe Vera gel, Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum), chandan (Indian sandalwood), Orange (Citrus sinensis) and Turmeric were used. Soap mostly use synthetic materials that can cause side effects, the selection of natural products is expected to reduce the growth of bacteria that can cause skin irritation. The examination of total fatty matters, saponification number, pH test and antibacterial activity were done by a scientific method and obtained reliable results, which are necessary for a grade - 1 soap.

 Abstract

With the recent advancement in technology, omnichannel retailing has now become the standard, and enables shoppers to seamlessly switch between various channels for the purchase. This paper brainstorms the ways to structure omni-channel to create a supply chain that is both cost effective and responsive to customer needs. Hybrid structures should be designed to make optimum use of both online and physical channels after considering their complementary strengths. Frequent and predictable needs should be served by the physical channel and the use of online channels should be done to provide variety and serve occasional needs. This hybrid structure can be fruitful for emerging markets where new online players can partner with existing local retailers to benefit both parties and the consumer
