 Abstract

Indians are conventionally known for their preference for safe investments. The people in general, are risk avert and are interested in saving money and investing in low risk investments. The aim of this research is to analyse awareness, perception & behaviour of people towards low risk investments. Purpose: The main objective of the study is to understand the popularity of Bank Fixed Deposits and Company Fixed Deposits as a safe investment avenue. The paper therefore targets to make a comparative analysis on the awareness of Bank Fixed Deposits and Company Fixed Deposits. Design and methodology: Both primary and secondary data are utilized for the study. Primary Data is collected by 20 respondents who invest in Fixed Deposits. Convenience sampling method is used to collect the data from the identified respondents. The study is based on the data collected from individual investors in Mumbai and Lucknow cities. Primary data from the respondent investors was collected through a structured questionnaire with closed ended questions. Non-parametric test - Mann Whitney U Test is applied for testing the hypothesis of this study. Findings: The findings of the study are that low risk investments are still a popular choice among investors. But there is a difference in the awareness about investment in Bank Fixed Deposits and Company Fixed Deposits. Practical implications: The study is relevant to understand the awareness and investment preferences of investors. The research paper will provide a helping hand to the researchers for further studies in their respective area.

 Abstract

Gender is a common term where as gender discrimination is meant only for women, because females are the only victims of gender discrimination. Gender Inequality, in simple words, may be defined as discrimination between women based on their sex. Discrimination is traditionally considered to refer to those negative and unfair actions meant to restrict or deny the equal treatment of individuals and groups. Discrimination is an unfair behavior that translates into practice prejudices This paper deals with problems which yield to gender discrimination in khati jaati of rural and urban areas of sehore district, and the effects and solution to gender discrimination. The study is based on both primary and secondary data. This study is empirical and exploratory in nature.

 Abstract

Oil and Refinery industry is very significant sector in the world which has significance in the economy of any nation. In India, oil and gas sector has also very important role in the development of the economy. Oil and Refinery sector not only provides oil and gas to the nation but also provides lot of things which are very important like, employment, revenue in the form of tax to the government and some other benefits to the society. In India most of the quantity of crude oil is imported from other countries. So, the prices and profits of the companies are totally dependent upon the market prices of crude oil. Before 2010 the prices were regulated by the Indian government. From June 2010 onwards the prices were deregulated and the prices are fixed according to the market price of crude oil. This study includes the analysis of economic value added for the selected oil and refinery companies during the study period. Chi-square test has been applied to find out any significant difference between actual and trend value of Economic Value Added by the selected financial variables.

 Abstract

Abstract: Introduction: Choroid plexus carcinoma is an uncommon/rare cause of a hemispheric cerebral tumor arising from lateral ventricles. Discussion: The exceedingly low prevalence of CPC in children has hampered the creation of standardised clinical trials, leaving therapy options to expert opinion and case studies. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and autologous hematopoietic cell rescue are all options for treatment. Conclusion:In rare conditions like these possible evidence based treatment has a low evidence and further establishment of more data based studies are to be done to further out more options and adjuvant therapies for the future.

 Abstract

This survey paper examines spine disease and its symptoms and cause. The lumbar vertebrae are the biggest and support the most weight in the body. The range of motion in this region is greater than that of the thoracic spine, but less than that of the cervical spine. The lumbar facet joints allow for great flexion and extension but not rotation. Cause of lumber spondylosis in early age due to lose moisture in spinal discs and shrink as human age, bone spurs form, and bones become weaker and this normal wear and tear of the lumbar (lower back) spinal discs is referred to as lumbar spondylosis. While many persons over the age of 50 have minor lumbar spondylosis, the majority of them have no symptoms. This research will aid in the identification of spine structure and function, lumber disease with its various types with a particular emphasis on lumber diseases such as DDD (Degenerative disc disease) and DD (Disc Desiccation), DDD causes, and risk factors, as well as the diagnostic tools

 Abstract

National economy of India is still dominated by agriculture, because agriculture commands a larger part of the total national income. There is a close relation between the agricultural sector and the whole national economy. Prices of agricultural products and particularly the Agricultural Commodities prices of play an important role, not only in the agricultural sector but in the whole national economy of India. Investment from productive agricultural sector, government has to divert the amount for payment of higher salaries to employees to maintain their standard of living. Therefore, this present study is based on review of above literature to study the behavior of arrivals and prices of selected agricultural commodities at Hingoli Regulated market. The study area is a sample Hingoli taluka (block) (Maharashtra State).
