(This research paper examines the psychological and social challenges represented in the novels of Anita Desai and Virginia Woolf, with a special focus on their relevance within the Indian socio-cultural context. Both writers are known for their profound exploration of inner consciousness, emotional fragmentation, and social alienation, particularly among women. By employing psychological realism and stream-of-consciousness techniques, Desai and Woolf portray the silent struggles of individuals negotiating restrictive social structures, patriarchal norms, and existential anxieties. This study comparatively analyzes selected novels to identify thematic convergences and divergences in their depiction of mental distress, identity crises, and social dislocation. While Woolf reflects the tensions of early twentieth-century British society, Desai adapts similar psychological concerns to postcolonial Indian realities, including familial pressure, gender roles, and cultural confinement. The paper argues that Desai's engagement with Woolfian modernist techniques enables a cross-cultural literary dialogue that deepens the understanding of psychological suffering in Indian contexts. By situating these narratives within feminist and psycho-social frameworks, the study contributes to comparative literary criticism and highlights the universal yet culturally specific nature of psychological challenges faced by women in literature.)

Owing to the fast growth of mobile payment systems, there is a need to have strong theoretical frameworks to help understand the behavioral intentions of users. Although previous studies often base their study on disjointed models, such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), these models often overlook important psychological and situational variables. To fill the gap, in this study, we propose and empirically test an integrated model which synthesizes TAM and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to predict the adoption of mobile wallets. The data collection method employed a quantitative cross-sectional design in which a 10-item questionnaire was used to collect data out of 50 active smartphone users, who live in a developing urban metropolitan area. The results confirm that although perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use are still the powerful foundation of functional attractiveness, the intention to adopt the system actually is largely volitional in nature and is largely guided by perceived behavioral control. Subjective norms, on the other hand, were proven to have a fragmented and far lesser effect, which disproved traditional beliefs about peer pressure effects of digital financial behaviors. Finally, this study indicates that the continued use of mobile wallets is being determined by individual efficacy and security more than individual utility whereas it is determined by social conformity, and it thus presents a radical, integrative paradigm on further studies of smart wallet adoption.

Entrepreneurial activities play a crucial role in promoting economic development through innovation, employment creation, and self-employment opportunities. In India, youth entrepreneurship has gained increasing importance due to rising unemployment, changing career aspirations, and enhanced government support. The present study examines the attitude of youth towards entrepreneurship with special reference to Alappuzha District in Kerala. The study is based on primary data collected from 100 respondents aged between 20 and 35 years using a structured questionnaire. Percentage analysis and the Chi-square test were used as tools for analysis. The findings reveal that a majority of youth possess a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship and consider it a viable career option. However, financial constraints, fear of failure, lack of experience, and limited access to institutional finance continue to be major challenges. The study highlights the need to strengthen entrepreneurship education, improve financial assistance, and enhance awareness of government schemes.

The internet has become an essential component of modern life, supporting communication, education, and access to information. Despite its widespread adoption, individuals with visual impairments continue to encounter significant barriers when interacting with web-based services, particularly email platforms that rely heavily on graphical user interfaces. Although assistive technologies such as screen readers provide partial accessibility, they often require complex navigation and keyboard dependency. This research presents a Voice-Based Email System designed specifically to enable visually impaired users to access, compose, and manage emails through speech interaction alone. The proposed system integrates Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text- to-Speech (TTS) technologies to create a fully audio-driven interface that eliminates reliance on visual cues and manual input devices. Users can authenticate, read inbox messages, compose emails, and send responses using structured voice commands. The implemented architecture enhances digital independence, improves usability, and reduces the cognitive effort associated with traditional assistive tools. The system demonstrates practical feasibility in providing accessible and efficient email communication for visually impaired individuals.

The problem of turning what people say into something computers can understand, like SQL is still an issue for people who are not tech savvy and want to work with complicated databases. Usually, people have used systems that're very strict or models that are good at learning, like LSTMs but these often take a long time to work and are not very flexible. This paper is about BaseMind, a way of talking to databases using natural language that makes it easier to get data by using the LangChain system and the GROQ engine. By putting a user interface on the front and a strong database on the back the system can turn what people say into SQL quickly. Tests show that using the hardware from GROQ and making the questions clearer makes the system work much faster and still gives accurate results even with complicated questions that involve multiple tables and sums. BaseMind is a way to make data available to everyone. It helps to close the gap, between what people say and what computers can understand.

The subjugation of women in 19th century Russia as well as in the Victorian society in England is an important and an evident issue. The power dynamics of both the men and women were so crucial in both these times. Dostovoeksky's famous short story "A Meek One" (1876) overtly portrays the situation of women in 19th century Russia and also depicts how the anonymous heroine in "A Meek One" subverts the social convention of androcentric society. "Androcentrism" defines the male domination over the females. Women are relegated to the household duties by the male domination. Similarly, the subjugation of women in the Patriarchal society is also very much evident in the Victorian era (1837-1901). Many writers like Mary Chevelita Dunne famously known as George Egerton , Charlotte Perkins Gilman , Charlotte Bronte in Victorian era subvert the "Victorian Morality" and emancipate their heroines through their writings. My paper aims to delineate how Dostoevsky's writings parallels with the writings of Victorian writers such as Charlotte Bronte and how the women's situation coexists with the situation of women in Victorian society.

The rapid growth of urban areas has led to an increase in civic issues such as potholes, garbage overflow, drainage blockages, and malfunctioning streetlights. Traditional complaint handling systems are often inefficient, time-consuming, and lack transparency, resulting in delayed responses and poor communication between citizens and municipal authorities. The proposed system introduces a Crowdsourced Civic Issue Reporting and Resolution System, which enables citizens to report civic problems using images, descriptions, and GPS-based location details. The system stores the collected data in a centralized database and displays it on an interactive dashboard for authorities. It automatically categorizes issues and assigns them to the appropriate departments for faster resolution. Additionally, the system provides real-time status tracking and notifications to users, ensuring transparency and accountability. By integrating modern web technologies and location-based services, the system enhances communication, improves efficiency, and supports smart city development.

Natural dyes obtained from plant sources are increasingly preferred due to their eco-friendly, biodegradable, and non-toxic properties. This study focuses on the extraction of natural dye from the bark of the Jamun tree (Syzygium cumini) and its application on natural fabrics such as lotus and linen. The aim of the study was to extract dye from jamun bark and evaluate its dyeing performance, antimicrobial activity, and color fastness properties on lotus and linen fabrics using a natural mordant. The method used involved collecting jamun tree bark, drying and grinding it into small particles, and extracting the dye through aqueous boiling. After dyeing, the samples were tested for antimicrobial activity and evaluated for color fastness properties including washing, crocking (rubbing), and sunlight exposure. The important results showed that the jamun bark extract produced attractive brown shades on both lotus and linen fabrics. Myrobalan mordant improved dye absorption and color stability. The dyed fabrics exhibited noticeable antimicrobial properties and showed satisfactory fastness to washing, crocking, and sunlight.
