Globalization is putting constant pressure on the growth of India's hallowed websites. Historical and cultural landscapes have not benefited from the same institutional safeguarding and maintenance as background monuments. An integrated conservation technique based on the restoration of the natural and spatial archetypes comprising the panoramic lexicon has been proposed, with the Rockfort Temple complex in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, being used as a case study. Perched on a hill near the banks of the Kaveri river a medieval fort surrounded a collection of structurally intact and excavated temples eventually functioned as the centre of urban growth business has grown at an exponential rate over the last 50 years leading to a variety of issues like traffic bottlenecks perplexing visitor behaviour and vision impairments that have all diminished sanctity little design interventions such as restoring historic homes resurrecting holy tanks planting sacred trees and building rest areas next to pilgrim paths may contribute to clarifying and forming the pilgrim panorama which is composed of shrines temples tanks and groves and circumlocutory paths.

The land has become an expensive unit in India due to its diversion following urbanization, industrialization etc. Further, migration and settlement of rural people in urban areas has been increasing at an alarming rate. It is estimated that, in India, 40.76% of the population is expected to reside in urban areas by 2030. Thus, it is going to increase pressure on natural resources and production volume in the rural areas due to increasing demand for food in urban areas. The cultivated land in urban areas is already limited. Rooftop gardens are an ideal way for an urban gardener to expand their space. Many of the urban homemakers create their own garden, either vegetable or ornamental or a combination of both on the rooftop due to lack of space around their houses. The study explores the rooftop garden trends and identifies the awareness and adoption on various areas of rooftop gardening. The objectives of the study includes finding out the type of rooftop garden, identifying various plants, both vegetable and ornamental, grown in the rooftop, to understand the type of fertilizers and pesticides used in the garden and to analyze the effectiveness is the irrigation and waste management practices of the rooftop garden. A sample of 75 respondents residing in Guntur city in select areas of Vidya Nagar, Lakshmi Puram, Brodiepet, SVN colony maintaining rooftop garden, has been selected for the study through purposive sampling technique.

Demand for renewable energy sources has increased due to the limited nature of fossil fuel reserves, which lead to carbon emissions into the atmosphere. Presently, solar and wind power stand out as the most widely adopted renewable energy options for integration into the power grid. Solar energy, specifically harnessed through photovoltaic systems, has become increasingly affordable and is characterized by its cleanliness and lack of pollution. Consequently, photovoltaic power generation has garnered significant attention, particularly in developing nations. Within the realm of photovoltaic energy systems, there exist two primary categories: grid- connected systems and stand-alone systems. Among these, grid-connected photovoltaic systems offer an effective means to incorporate solar energy into the existing electrical grid infrastructure. A pivotal component within these grid-connected photovoltaic systems is the inverter, which can exert a substantial influence on the system's overall performance. This influence extends to factors such. as. total harmonic. Distortion. (THD) and efficiency.Over the past decade, the concept of multilevel inverters has gained popularity in. the. field. of. renewable energy applications. In the context of this dissertation, various topologies of grid-tied. photovoltaic. systems. are. thoroughly examined to demonstrate the potential of such systems. Additionally, the dissertation attempts to conduct simulations of grid-connected photovoltaic systems, incorporating Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT) techniques in conjunction with multilevel inverters, using MATLAB/SIMULINK software.

The agriculture sector is the mainstay of the Indian economy, employing approximately 54 percent of the country's workforce and contributing approximately 18 percent of GDP. However, productivity remains a challenge and poverty and malnutrition in rural areas remain high. Water scarcity, climate change and fragmented farms make it difficult for millions of small holder farmers to feed their families and profit from their work. Farmers in Maharashtra face problems like uneven distribution of rainfall, heavy rains, late arrival of monsoons, seasonal rains and hail for many years. As a result, severe drought or scarcity-like conditions cause widespread adverse effects on agricultural production and productivity and slow down agricultural development. Reduced income also increases the stress on farmers and some farmers even take extreme measures such as suicide. Overall, these significant changes in the recent climate have presented major challenges to the country's agricultural sector. Climate change is the result of adverse agricultural conditions that lead to reduced yields. Maharashtra government has proposed to implement a climate-friendly agriculture project POCRA (Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture) in the state with global financial support to ensure immediate recovery of farmers without stress due to their failed crops. Bank mainly in selected villages affected by drought in Vidarbha and Marathwada and selected villages across the saline area of the Vidarbha basin.
