Electronic human resource management (HRM) in businesses is significantly impacted by gamification. It gives employers an opportunity to draw in and keep workers while also converting repetitive tasks into engaging activities and boosting staff productivity. HR procedures like hiring, training, adaption, motivation, performance management, and staff appraisal have all benefited from the use of gamification techniques and tools. Employee development, training costs, and engagement can all be improved by gamification in HRM systems. Employee motivation and engagement are raised, training effectiveness is increased, and employees' critical capabilities are developed and enhanced. For the purpose of hiring, gamification can also be used to draw in and evaluate qualified IT candidates. General benefits of gamification in electronic HRM include higher productivity, loyalty, and job happiness. The study of effective search tactics for SLRs in the management sciences has produced methodological patterns pertaining to transparency and replicability. An alternative method is to examine previous literature review articles on the subject matter to generate keywords, which lessens prejudice and guarantees transparency and comprehensiveness. This approach has been tried and tested in the domain of operational risk management, making it easier to come up with keywords for a multidisciplinary strategy. Furthermore, organizing a literature evaluation is crucial for expanding knowledge and choosing journals for a theoretical basis in fields like energy management. Information seekers in management research might find guidance by following a methodical approach to doing a literature search on web-based databases. The aim of the current study is to do a literature review on the topic of role of gamification in electronic human resource management.

This feasibility study investigates the integration of daily Quality of Life (QoL) assessments into routine clinical oncology practice. With the recognition of cancer treatment's multifaceted impact on patients, extending beyond conventional survival metrics, there is a growing emphasis on evaluating QoL as an essential parameter. The study aims to assess the feasibility and benefits of daily assessments, focusing on acceptance and adherence by healthcare providers, practical incorporation into electronic health records, and potential impacts on patient outcomes. Using a mixed-methods approach over a six-month period, the study collects quantitative data from daily QoL assessments and qualitative insights through interviews and surveys. Conducted at the Government General Hospital in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, the study involves 15 patients, with two dropouts. The average patient age is 57, and the majority are female, diagnosed with various cancers undergoing different treatments. Results indicate that the QoL assessments, primarily utilizing the QLQ-C30 questionnaire, were completed by patients at scheduled appointments with an average completion time of 10.3 minutes. Physician assessments showed a significant improvement in perceived knowledge of patients' daily activities from baseline to the third visit. The QoL summary was deemed helpful by physicians in improving communication and obtaining essential information from patients without disrupting their routine. In conclusion, this feasibility study suggests that standardizing daily QoL evaluations in outpatient cancer clinics is practical and well-received by both patients and healthcare providers. The simplicity of the questionnaire and rapid accessibility of findings make it feasible to integrate into daily routines, potentially reshaping oncology care towards a more patient-centered and holistic approach.

Abstract: Cancer is characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and acquisition of metastatic properties. Some common forms include breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, and leukemia. Despite significant advances in research and treatment modalities, cancer remains a significant public health challenge, with millions of new cases diagnosed each year. For effective cancer therapy, it is necessary to improve and develop novel strategies for effective delivery of chemotherapeutics to cancer cells. Conventional chemotherapeutic agents accumulate both in normal and tumor cells due to non-specificity. The ultimate goal of cancer therapy is to reduce systemic toxicity and improve the quality of life. The landscape of cancer treatment has improved significantly over the past four decades. Novel treatment with ONCOS-102, developed by Targovax, is a genetically modified adenovirus designed to selectively infect cancer cells in lungs and stimulate anti-tumor immune responses has been developed in recent years. New approaches, such as Photodynamic therapy(PDT) is a minimally invasive treatment that utilizes a photosensitizing agent, light, and oxygen to selectively destroy oral cancer cells. One photosensitizer that has shown promise in oral cancer treatment is 5-aminolevulinic acid of oral cancer. Immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 antibodies, block this interaction, thereby reactivating T cell-mediated anti-tumor immune responses in Breast cancer. With the development of molecular biology and genomics, targeted therapy research has achieved a breakthrough development, including anti-angiogenesis, immune checkpoint inhibitors, and other treatments that are efficient for treatment of cervical cancer. a novel approach to the development of AR antagonists is to target the amino-terminus domain of the AR. The small molecule AR antagonist EPI-001 inhibits protein-protein interactions necessary for AR transcriptional activity. A promising novel approach for treating gastric cancer involves targeting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), which is overexpressed in approximately 20% of gastric cancers.

In recent years studies on drug utilization (DU) have become a potential tool to be used in the evaluation of health systems. Studies on the process of DU focus on factors related to prescribing, dispensing, administering and taking of medication and its associated events. DU data is available from databases - computerized or otherwise. From these databases different types of information, qualitative or quantitative or referring to a particular population are available. Patient files and computer registries are widely used as instruments for collecting information on DU. Prospective, Concurrent or Retrospective Drug utilization evaluation (DUE) may be used depending upon the timing of data collection. Importance of DUE in Pharmacoepidemiology (PE) have been increasing due to their close association to other areas like - public health, Pharmacovigilance (Pv), Pharmacoeconomics and pharmacogenetics. This review article highlights various aspects, scope, types and future perspectives of DUE.
