The translocation of cheetahs from Namibia to India as part of conservation efforts has sparked a huge widespread debate and scrutiny all over the world from people of different walks. Despite India's historical relationship with the cheetah and some previous efforts to re-establish this endangered species, challenges remain in ensuring their successful adaptation and survival in the Indian ecosystems which are totally different. This paper examines in depth some multifaceted complexities surrounding recent various translation initiatives. This highlights the complex dynamics involving not just ecological but also socio-political and logistical aspects of the whole process which are highly critical. Furthermore; this research examines in-depth the legal and environmental frameworks that underpin all these translocation initiatives, evaluating so to speak their effectiveness in regulating and facilitating such conservation efforts within India. By analysing even more of these frameworks, the study seeks to shed light even more on the broader implications of the cheetah's demise within translocation initiatives and its massive impact on future conservation strategies which are so vital. This investigation underlines the great need for a comprehensive approach that addresses more actually the complex interplay of so known ecological, legal and socio-economic factors in the planning and implementation of all conservation initiatives.

The Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) was established in India in 1993 to empower Members of Parliament (MPs) to address local developmental needs within their constituencies. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of MPLADS fund utilisation by MPs during the 16th Lok Sabha tenure, focusing on recommended, sanctioned, and completed works, as well as expenditure across different categories. Data from official government reports and MPLADS guidelines are utilised to examine the trends and patterns in project implementation. The findings reveal a consistent increase in the count of recommended and sanctioned works over the five-year period, indicating a growing emphasis on local development initiatives. However, fluctuations in project completion rates and expenditure highlight the need for streamlining implementation processes and enhancing monitoring mechanisms. Category-wise analysis underscores the importance of addressing the diverse needs of marginalised communities and promoting equitable resource distribution. The paper concludes with recommendations for improving the effectiveness of MPLADS initiatives, including measures to streamline administrative processes, enhance community participation, and address resource disparities. By leveraging the scheme effectively, MPs can play a crucial role in fostering socio-economic progress and contributing to the overall development of the nation.

Network attacks pose a significant threat to the security and integrity of computer networks. The ability to predict and prevent these attacks is crucial for maintaining a secure network environment. Supervised machine learning techniques have emerged as effective tools for network attack prediction due to their ability to analyse large amounts of network data and identify patterns indicative of malicious activity. We present a comprehensive analysis of supervised machine learning techniques for the prediction of network attacks. We collect and pre-process the data, extracting relevant features and transforming them into a suitable format for machine learning algorithms. We evaluate the performance of these algorithms. We investigate the interpretability of the trained models to gain insights into the underlying patterns and characteristics of network attacks. This allows network administrators to understand the nature of attacks and develop appropriate defences strategies. Additionally, we discuss the challenges and limitations associated with the application of supervised machine learning techniques in the domain of network attack prediction, such as the need for real-time analysis and the emergence of sophisticated evasion techniques.

Research is the way of finding new knowledge, knowing the unknown or unearthing of fact, and an authentic base of formulation of theories, principles and law. Research in Library and Information Science must have the practicality and validity as it is a professional subject. Thus, research in the field really helps to find the existing problems, solution to the problems, and to assess the future prospects through the systematic and scientific approaches to the research. In this particular paper the author is endeavoured to study the research contribution of Department of Library and Information Science (DLISC), Gauhati University which is the oldest state university of North East India established in 1948 and the Department of Library and Information Science came into existence in the year 1966.

The integration of highly fluctuated distributed generations (such as PVs, Wind Turbines, Electric Vehicles, and Energy storage systems) threatens the stability of the power and distribution systems. The main cause is that the power ratio between the supply and demand may not be in the balanced condition due to unexpected demand. An excess shortage in the generation or consumption of power may disturb the network and create severe problems such as voltage drop (or) rise and in severe conditions also blackouts. To maintain a proper balance between the supply and the demand in an efficient way and to reduce the peak load during unexpected periods, energy management systems are utilized. Energy Management can be broadly divided into two main categories. The first one is on the side of the supplier such as electric utility, in which some generators are turned ON or OFF to follow the fluctuation of the load demand. The second one is that on the consumer side and it is also called as the demand-side management. In the demand-side management, the consumers will manage their energy consumption so that they will manage with the available power from the generation side. The main goal of energy management system is to reduce the cost of operation and consumption, so as to reduce the energy losses and increase the reliability of the network. Energy management has many barriers and limitations. However, it has a prominent future in which most of the current researchers are focusing on developing sophisticated algorithms and models to better manage the energy on the Power grid.

This study aims to create a polyherbal mouthwash with ethanolic extracts of leaves from Acarynthus aspera, Ocimum sanctum, and Azardicha indica and evaluate its medicinal effectiveness. After gathering A. aspera, Ocimum sanctum, and Azardicha indica, maceration was used to produce an ethanolic extract. Mouthwash formulations designated F1, F2, F3, and F4 were made with varying extract concentrations, and their stability, pH, color, and odor were assessed. Using 0.2% chlorohexidine as a control, the formulation's antibacterial and antifungal efficacy against streptococcus mutants (ATCC 21571) and candida albicans (MTCC 277) was also assessed. The in vitro antimicrobial activity of the mouthwash was tested using the agar well diffusion method, and it demonstrates good antibacterial and antifungal action against microorganism.
