Data mining refers to extracting or mining knowledge from large amounts of data. Data mining functionalities are used to specify the kind of patterns to be found in data mining tasks. In general, data mining tasks are classified into two categories descriptive and predictive. Descriptive mining tasks characterize the general properties of the data in the database. Predictive mining tasks perform inference on the current data in order to make predictions. Stream data flow in and out of a computer system continuously and with varying update rates. They are temporally ordered, fast changing, massive, and potentially infinite. It may be impossible to store an entire data stream or to scan through it multiple times due to its tremendous volume. In distributed systems, database systems and data mining the managing and processing of data stream is an active research area. Data Streams are highly dynamic nature due to high data distribution. Data streams are applied in network monitoring, tele communication systems and sensor networks. In online monitoring time and space utilization should be very efficient. My quest analyses and classifies application of diverse data mining techniques in efficient aspects of data stream mining. A solution is designed to map data mining techniques to data stream mining challenges and requirements.

The research study focused on A Study on English Language Fluency and Self Confidence among B.Ed. Students in Chennai District. Survey method was employed to collect the data through questionnaire by adopting stratified random sampling technique. The questionnaire was constructed and modified by the researchers and administered on B.Ed. students. The sample size of this study comprises 300 B.Ed. students; among them 116 were male and 184 were female studying in various B.Ed. colleges in Chennai district. To fulfill the objective of the study is to assess the English Language Fluency and Self Confidence among B.Ed. Students and to find the English Language Fluency and Self Confidence among B.Ed. Students based on Gender, Medium and Management. The results indicate that, the Family English Language Fluency and Self Confidence among B.Ed. Students is moderate in nature. It is also found that there is no significant difference in English Language Fluency among B.Ed. Students with respect to Gender, Medium and Management and there is a significant difference in Self Confidence among B.Ed. Students with respect to Gender, Medium and Management. English Language Fluency and Self Confidence are low positive correlated to each other.

The image segmentation techniques are used in variety of application varying from object detection, object recognition, region localization, etc. The image segmentation techniques are primarily based upon the color pixel intensity based techniques or texture based region separation methods. In this paper, an adaptive multilayer threshold based technique has been proposed to segment the image contents in different segments, which uses the improved fuzzy c-means (FCM) thresholding method coupled with support vector machine (SVM) for the classification of the brain tumor type. The proposed model will be developed with a wider adaptability, which includes the malignant and benign types of the tumors. The proposed model is expected to resolve the accuracy issue by improving the overall accuracy of detection & classification, which will be measured in the form of various statistical parameters such as accuracy.

The traffic blockage is the several problem in metropolitan areas which reduces the fuel efficiency of vehicles as well as time wastages due to traffic jam. In this paper the main approach is to design a system for reducing the traffic congestion at signal and rush areas. The proposed system uses a concept of Internet Of Things with geographic multicast routing protocol and dynamic priority assignment provided at traffic signal. In this paper the multicast routing protocol finds shortest path for ambulance or emergency vehicles in congested areas. This system is designed with component like ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, number of sensors. The ESP8266 is the main component which is used to control all so it acts like an controller. Density of the traffic will be decided with the help of number of sensors. The system is provided to all traffic signals in the city as well as to rush area and they are interconnected to each other through multicast routing protocol.

The main objective of this paper is to enhance the power quality for grid interfaced Diesel Generation system under some non-linear load conditions using a DSTATCOM. For obtaining effective compensation characteristics the damping controller such as DSTATCOM is designed based on model control theory. In this paper a Fuzzy based DSTATCOM controller is designed and the results are compared with the conventional controllers. This Diesel Generation system is simulated in Matlab/Simulink for both conventional PI and Fuzzy controllers. The fuzzy controller reduces the damping and improves the total harmonic distortions than the PI controller. From the simulation results we can conclude that the Fuzzy based controller can effectively improve the THD than the PI controller and enhances the power quality.

Abstract: Ants are animals belonging to the family Formicidae of Order Hymenoptera under the Class Insecta. There are more than 12000 ant species which are known it in this world. Ants show tremendous diversity, numerical and biomass dominance in almost every habitat throughout the world. Ants are one of the most diverse and ubiquitous groups of social insects. They act as ecological indicators and ecosystem engineers. In this study, Ant species diversity at Contai Municipality, Purba Medinipur West Bengal , India has been discussed. Present study reveals the distribution of ant fauna in human habitats located around Contai town. During study, 15 species of ants has been identified. The recorded ants belonging to five subfamilies: Formicinae, Myrmicinae, Ponernae, Dolichoderinae and Pseudomyrmicinae. In the studied area, totally 15 species belonging to 5 subfamilies of ants were recorded. Out of the five subfamilies, the Formicinae was the most dominant subfamily in terms of species richness followed by Myrmicinae , Pseudomyrmicinae, Dolichoderinae and Ponernae.
