The article tries to find out Influence of quality of work life on career development among women police. Sample size was 419. This study has multistage sampling technique to collect data from women police employees from four districts (Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Salem) in Tamil Nadu. Researcher designed questionnaire is with 5 point scale in the continuum of agreeing. Reliability of this tool is 0.84 and 0.82. Multiple regressions were used for data analysis. The analysis also found that there is no influence of dimensions of quality of work life such as adequate and fair compensation, growth and development, relation with other job, social assimilation and work itself on career development among the women police in Tamilnadu. It is also found that there is an influence of dimensions of quality of work life such as welfare activity and societal relevance on career development among the women police in Tamilnadu. Hence, it is recommended that Identification of highly contributing dimensions like adequate and fair compensation, growth and development, relation with other job, social assimilation, welfare activity, work itself and societal relevance helps management to improve more quality of work life of the women police.

Internet of Things is a paramount research domain now. This technology ensures the end to end data delivery for any class of heterogeneous devices. For IoT application several methodologies had been addressed to secure the data available from sensor nodes, but most of them are based on social network paradigm. The mission critical application for tactical environment and the level of security measure have not been emphasized in most of the situation. This work primarily focuses on the state of art design of a security layer for mission critical application. A noble light weight security algorithm has been proposed and evaluations are made on real time test. Further the performance of the algorithm for real time data encryption has been discussed.

Using data from a sample survey conducted in six districts of Assam, this study empirically examines the behaviour of tea garden workers of Assam towards the use of basic financial services. The study investigates the use of financial services namely deposit, credit and insurance among the tea garden workers by employing simple arithmetic tools. Our results reveal that, a considerable number of tea garden workers in the state have access to bank accounts; however, most of them seldom visit banks and use banking facilities. In addition, use of alternate banking channels is also very low among the tea garden workers. The idea of self-help groups is also not very popular among them. The tea garden workers hardly have any access to formal credit. Almost half of the sample is ignorant about insurance. Moreover, awareness about government-sponsored financial scheme is also found to be low among the tea garden workers.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the association of the VSSSWs with the planetary index Kp and solar wind proton density (np) for solar cycle- 24 (2008-2016). A Chree analysis by the superposed epoch method has been done in the study. The results of the present analysis shows that VSSSWs are well correlated with the planetary index Kp with a high correlation coefficient of 0.7. We have also compared the correlation values of VSSSWs with solar wind proton density (np) for solar cycle 24 as well as for solar cycle 23 and found that solar cycle 24 produces good correlation values as compared to solar cycle 23.

Nano composites are used in a wide range of applications in various fields, such as medicine, textiles, and cosmetics. This work is aimed to understand the textile properties of ZnO-Aloe vera deposited SM Modal fabric after treating with low temperature oxygen plasma treatment. The paper presents the experimental results of plasma treatment can significantly improve the tribological performance of the prepared SM Modal fabric/ZnO-Aloe vera composites, the best performance was the plasma treatment for 10 mins. The changes in surface topography, structure and chemical composition of the modal fabric surface was by effectively modified the wettability, antibacterial property of the fabric.

Prestressed concrete technology is quite different from Rcc. concrete technology. The devices in the system of prestressed are of two types: pre- tensioning & post-tensioning . Through the use of prestressing for the mechanism of pre and post tension of the device, the development of the system of anchoring in the concrete structural element. In the modern type of pre-stressed pre-stressed and high current power used in anchoring device for a member of concrete and cladding of sulpher as material of the duct before the casting of the concrete element. While supplying electricity in the structure sulpher get melted up because heat generated in the structure. The structure could be anchored by nutting at both the ends.

ABSTRACT The research primarily aims to find out to understand the phenomenon of transition loss of the adolescents transiting from Secondary level to higher /post secondary level and to identify the extent of role of emotional intelligence, need level and stress resistance play in it. The research was conducted in the government school of Chhattisgarh of class X, to find the reason of Transition Loss -non-transition of students to class to class XI from class X / The research findings imply that transition do not happens for two main reasons: one for students who are not successful in class X Board examination and the other reason for students not taking admission and non-transition to class XI even after being successful in class X .This is due to due to academic and non academic reasons . The non -acacademic reason has a physcological lining. Research findings suggests that emotional intelligence , growth need level and stress resistance have a positive correlation with students success and transition to next grade , whereas transition loss have anegative correlation with emotional intelligence , growth need level and stress resistance. Non-transient students were found to be low in emotional intelligence , need level and stress resistance score.
