 Abstract

The detection and recognition of text in natural images is used in modern software systems to perform tasks such as the detection of landmarks in images, mobile applications for the translation of visual signs, surveillance and much more. To detect and accurately identify text in natural images, a reliable and reliable method for distinguishing text from regions with no text in images is required. For this purpose, the extremely stable extreme regions algorithm (MSER), different geometric properties such as proportions, eccentricity, strength, extension, euler number, etc. and the stroke width variation algorithm should be used. Finally, the character recognition algorithm (OCR) is used to recognize previously detected text regions.

 Abstract

The purpose of the Present study was to compare the sports specific personality between Urban and Rural Male players who took participation in Inter-collegiate Competition of Bilaspur state university, Bilaspur. The objective of the study was to find out whether there is any significant difference in the male Players of urban and rural area. For the purpose of this study total 50 male players from urban and rural area were selected as a sample who participated in Intercollegiate Competition of Bilaspur State University, Bilaspur. Subjects were selected using Simple Random Sampling Method for this study. The researcher selected sports specific personality test Scale for the study. Proper SSPS 20.0 version is used for the analysis of data. The Study found significance difference in some features. The Study revealed that significance difference in sports specific personality.

 Abstract

The study is intended to measure the difference between artists and non artists on emotional intelligence. The sample of 296 Artists and 289 non artists from various districts of Kerala were collected through simple random sampling method. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The results revealed that the artists and non artists significantly differed on emotional intelligence in which non artists possess high emotional intelligence than artists. The findings of the study help to provide an insight about the need for the emotional efficacy among artists.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT With the advent of internet, world stepping towards digitalization. E-filing is one of the prominent innovative online services. E-Governance has led a pave to develop e-filing of income tax returns over internet. Through this system, tax payers are very much convenient for filing their returns even at home and as a result it reduces the time required for entering data. E-filing can be considered as a revolution in Information Technology which gives a great dynamism in the field of income tax returns. Income tax department becomes more touch with the tax payers. The paper clearly attempting to study about the concept of e-filing, the level of awareness and extend of usage of e-filing among individual tax payers in India.

 Abstract

The prime function of any academic library is to provide efficient services to its users. Users’ awareness about the services provided by the library is essential for effective use of its collection. This study is to examine the user’s satisfaction in library facilities, resources and services of the users of Arts & Science Colleges Library, in Trichy taluk only. 200 questionnaires were distributed among users to collect relevant data. The findings of the study show that out of 150 respondents, majority of 59 (39.3%) respondents stated that the ‘Bibliographic service’ is ‘very important’, and it was found that 51.3% respondents are in ‘Very Important’ option for the service of ‘Current Awareness’ whereas in 02.0% of the respondents are considered it is ‘Not at all Important’. 57(38%) are ‘Satisfied’ with collection of ‘Theses / Dissertation’, and 60(40%) of respondents are ‘Satisfied’ with ‘e-database’ resources and only 6(4.0%) are ‘Not at all satisfied’. The study suggested that college library should carry out user studies at regular intervals, in order to identify user’s information needs and their information gathering behaviors.

 Abstract

The analysis of a multi storeyed residential building of G+6 consisting of 5 apartments in each floor. The dead load &live loads are applied and the design for beams, columns, footing is obtained STAAD Pro with its new features surpassed its predecessors, and compotators with its data sharing capabilities with other major software like AutoCAD, and MS Excel. We conclude that staad pro is a very powerful tool which can save much time and is very accurate in Designs. Thus it is concluded that staad pro package is suitable for the design of a multistoried building
