Abstract: PURPOSE: The aim of the study is to determine the occurrence of sleep disorders in stroke patients and their prevalence in relation to stroke. INTRODUCTION: Stroke is a medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death. Stroke is one of the most common neurological disorders in clinical practice. According to WHO, it is the second commonest cause of death worldwide. It is forecasted that the deaths because the of stroke will rise to 6.5 million by 2015 and by 2020, stroke and coronary artery disease are expected to be the leading causes of losing life. Earlier Surveys on stroke indifferent parts of India shown that the prevalence of stroke varies in different regions of India and ranges from 40 to 270 per 1, 00,000 populations. Stroke is responsible for around 11% of all deaths worldwide. METHODS: This Study was conducted in the neurology department of Lalitha Super Speciality Hospital, Guntur Andhra Pradesh. A 300 bedded multi specialty tertiary care hospital for a period of 6 months from 2020-2021.The procedure of the study was a prospective observational study was conducted in the hospitalized stroke patients. The inclusion criteria for the study are the patients admitted in the hospital of any age, in patients who are diagnosed with stroke, patients who are willing to participate in study and patients with sleep disorders with past medical history of stroke. RESULTS & DISCUSSION: A sample of 202 patients were enrolled into the study. The data was taken from the patient who is admitted in the hospital. In this study the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea, possible etiologies of obstructive sleep apnea in different types of stroke patients. In order to validate the patients having obstructive sleep apnea all the patients were advised to go through polysomnography test, however, majority of the patients did not report for polysomnography test. Out of 202 patients 145patients were males and 57 females. The majority of the participants belonged to the age group of 30 to 79. Out of 145 males 74(51.03%) were alcoholics and 71(48.97%) are non-alcoholics. Out of 145 males 80(55.17%) are smokers and 65(44.83%) are non-smokers. Out of 145 males 79(54.48%) patients had obstructive sleep apnea. Out of 57 females 35(61.40%) patients had obstructive sleep apnea. Females are more susceptible or more likely to develop Obstructive sleep apnea compared to males. Patient counseling was provided to patients regarding proper sleeping posture, sleep time and duration of sleep for avoiding Obstructive sleep apnea. CONCLUSION: The results clearly show that there is clear association between Obstructive sleep apnea and Stroke in males and females. However, females are more susceptible or more likely to develop Obstructive sleep apnea compared to males. Patient counseling was provided to patients regarding proper sleeping posture, sleep time and duration of sleep for avoiding Obstructive sleep apnea. Sleep disorders are highly prevalent in patients with stroke and in those at risk for stroke. Thus, sleep disorders screening through questionnaires such as the ESS and the Berlin Questionnaire should become a part of standard of care in stroke clinics. Finally, newer strategies to educate future health-care professionals and the public about the importance of sleep and its impact on stroke and cardiovascular disease are vital.

This paper we studied dynamical systems and control theory. We deal with specific characteristics of a dynamical system namely stability and optimal control. In industry economics and engineering both characteristics are common. We picked out some examples and geometrical solutions which are significant such as portfolio selection and related economics problem. We described the corresponding differential equations and used optimal control theory to treat the problem, and we find some geometrical solutions in dynamical systems and control theory.

The rising industrialization process was a game changer in the development of the global economy. Social movements have changed green chemistry since the 1940s and resulted in shifts in industrial positions and sustainable processes with improvements in environmental effect and awareness of businesses and the general public. The 12 principles of "green chemistry," which were developed by Paul Anastas and John Warner in the 1990s, are centered on limiting or avoiding the use of harmful solvents in chemical processes and analyses as well as the formation of residues from these procedures. The creation of analytical techniques, which gave rise to the term "Green Analytical Chemistry," is one of the most active fields of research and development in green chemistry. This research exercise tries to explore the evolution of Green chemistry.

Saudi Arabia and China started its official diplomatic relations in 1990. China's growing population along with its development process increased its need for oil. Hence, oil became the bedrock of Saudi Arabia and China's relation. Saudi Arabia's search for stable oil markets along with reduced dependence upon US made it turn its attention towards China. On the other hand, China need for oil and its focus on expanding its trade relations in West Asia led it to Saudi Arabia. Today, Saudi Arabia and China has ties that expands to various areas encompassing political, economic and socio-cultural. The article will try to understand the main factors that binds Saudi Arabia and China; the converging elements that has made this tie so comfortable between both the countries. The factors that are to be analyzed are trade and commerce, growth in trade under the Look East Policy of Saudi Arabia, religion and the spread of Wahhabi ideas in China and human rights abuse along with the Uyghur crisis.

Background: PCOS is a complex condition characterized by elevated androgen levels, menstrual irregularities and small cysts in one or both ovaries which impact quality of life and mood and potentially precipitate depression and anxiety in the suffering women. The prevalence of mild, moderate and severe anxiety in women with PCOS is 62.9%, 29.6% and 7.4% respectively. Lifestyle interventions are first line effective treatment and even small changes improve symptoms and psychological well being. Power yoga is a form of Ashtanga-Vinyasa yoga as exercise developed in 1990 by Beryl Birch and Bryan Kest which includes 19 Suryanamaskar poses combined with different modules and asanas which benefit in increasing strength, stamina, focus, flexibility and reducing stress and thus improving quality of life. Aim: To study the effectiveness of power yoga on anxiety and quality of life in young females with PCOS. Methodology: 30 females suffering from PCOS aged 18-30 years diagnosed as per Rotterdam criteria were included in this study. The study duration was six months with four weeks intervention duration. Outcome measures: Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale and WHO-QOL scale. Results: Unpaired t test was used to analyze pre and post differences and p value and mean was calculated. The reduction in anxiety levels and improvement in QOL after intervention was extremely significant as p value was <0.0001 respectively. The pre and post treatment mean for anxiety levels was 23.03 and 11.60 respectively. The pre and post treatment mean for QOL was 52.2 and 63.47 respectively. Conclusion: The study concluded that power yoga shows significant reduction in anxiety and significant improvement in QOL in females with PCOS.

ABSTRACT Organic food refers to crops or livestock that are grown on the farm without the application of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and without using genetically modified organisms. The high growth of population and life expectancies during the recent years increased demand for food supplies in India. Consumer surveys indicate that the public is concerned about the awareness of the organic food products and safety of the produce that they purchase in stores due to possible pesticide contamination. The paper aims to find out the consumption pattern and purchase frequency of organic food in urban area of Bengaluru. The size of the sample was 106. The study was conducted using Google forms and through interview. Face to face interview was carried out in Organics Store with the consumers who had come to purchase organic food products. Demographic profiles considered in this study are; age-group, gender, education, occupation, income and number of members in the household. Among the 106 respondents, the numbers of female respondents were 62.3 percent while the study had 37.7 percent of male respondents 32percent of the respondents preferred supermarket as place of purchase. 97 percent of the respondents agreed that organic foods are healthier 82 percent of the respondents agreed that organic foods are natural. Consumers are more inclined towards organic products due to health benefits that it possesses. Middle-aged group are the most common respondents for organic food. This is because they become health conscious at this stage of life. Increasing the awareness level of organic products, encouraging people to create their own organic garden can increase consumption of organic foods.
