In a country like India which has an exploding population and a large chunk of that living under poverty and extreme conditions. Malnutrition figures of Indian people are not so good; people are not even able to get two-time meal easily, they have to toil hard for that. In spite of these all deteriorating living conditions people are addicted to alcohol and spending a larger part of their earnings on it, instead of improving their lifestyle. But the question arises, why people in large number are addicted to alcohol? And how this habit affecting them and their family and all over society? Does this affecting countries growth? In this paper we will discuss these all question and their answers from the point of view of Mahatma Gandhi, we will see how Mahatma Gandhi understood this drunkard society and what they suggested the solution for it, like sweeping out the existence of drink revenue and abolishing the liquor shops. This paper is based on content analysis written by Mahatma Gandhi and other people on the related topic.

Shashi Deshpande in her celebrated novel, That Long Silence, undermines the patriarchal norms and values that control Indian middle class housewife, that a confining rigid code of conduct for women does not permit them a space to realize their potential. In today's fast changing world, the old traditions and socio-cultural systems are challenged. Interestingly, the current reality of our life is strange, chaotic and without a particular referential point. Post-Truth is a significant part of postmodernism, which highlights how misrepresentation of reality enters in fictional literature. It is author's predictions to employ a narrator's voice for bringing home to her readers her philosophy of life. S/he can influence opinions through suspension of disbelief, and rather make the reader accept lies as truths. The present paper aims to explore the Post-Truth elements in the narrative, meaning thereby the critical insight into the protagonist's idea of self-fulfillment and self identity, and also the truth of the matter in gender relations and hegemonic power structures.

A Petrol-Electric Hybrid Engine Vehicle is a vehicle which works on electrical power as well as fuel like petrol. It has many benefits over its predecessors, which developed power using only fuel. The thought is to design and construct a Hybrid Electric Bike (HEB) powered by battery as well as petrol. The vehicle is made dynamic in nature by making use of electrical power from battery and fuel power. It consumes less fuel and creates comparatively less pollution as compared to conventional vehicles. Hybrid electric Bikes consists of a battery, to drive the electric motor and power system with an IC engine to increase fuel economy reduce harmful emissions from the exhaust.

The radiological parameter mass attenuation and atomic cross section with biological material is essential in radiation dosimetry, medical therapy and radiobiology. Use of radioactive material such as; isotopes is increasing in the field of medical field specially in; diagnostics, research and development, bio-technology, pharmaceutical, agriculture etc. The attenuation parameters are the basic quantities required for determining the energy deposition and penetration in a given material. Here undecylic acid are play an essential role in human health society. So, this work focus on the absorption of gamma active radiation for fatty acid. The effect of gamma active radiations on absorption in undecylic acid are shown using attenuation parametrs which will be essential photon energy region of interest (500keV- 1500 keV) in many medical and biological applications. By performing transmission experiments using 137Cs, 54Mn, and 22Na gamma active sources with gamma ray spectrometry, The measured experimental data were compared against NIST-Xcom program and It has been found that the variations of observed values are decreasing with increasing photon energies.

: Now a day the construction of multi storey buildings are increasing day by day. But most of the building lacks structural wall mainly in the ground floor. This is mainly for the purpose of parking area or for making open meeting halls. Even though we have seen such buildings in our locality too. These types of buildings are known as soft storey building or open ground storey building. So we can say that in multi storey buildings or high rise buildings, soft storey is a typical feature because the ground storey is left open for these purposes which has been discussed. These types of building are weaker than the normal regular framed building. And these buildings are more vulnerable even in low intensity earthquakes. Severe collapse of building occurs for soft storey building. Now a day some retrofitting methods for soft storey effect are using during the construction itself. But for already constructed buildings the number of retrofitting methods are low. The commonly used methods are Shear wall and Diagonal bracings. But it has some disadvantages. So here we are trying to develop a new retrofitting method for soft storey effect. The whole analysis is done using ETABS 2019 software

Credit cards can have both positive and negative impacts on consumer life. On the positive side, credit cards can provide convenience and flexibility in making purchases, and can also help to build credit history, which can be beneficial in the long term. Additionally, many credit cards offer rewards and other benefits to users. On the negative side, credit cards can lead to high levels of debt if they are not used responsibly. High interest rates and fees can make it difficult to pay off the balance, and this can lead to financial problems. Additionally, credit cards can encourage impulse buying and overspending, which can also lead to debt. It's important for consumers to be aware of the potential risks and benefits of using credit cards, and to use them responsibly by keeping track of their spending, paying their bills on time, and keeping their balances low.

A Mutual fund is an investment vehicle made up of a pool of funds collected from numerous investors for the purpose of investing in securities such as stocks, bonds, money market instruments and similar assets. All the sample schemes ensured positive returns due to stock selection skills of fund managers. The variance explained by the market was high in the case of SBI Magnum Multiplier Plus scheme. The market performance had a significant positive influence on scheme performance in case of all the schemes covered under the study. The main purpose of this article is to learn about mutual funds and how they work. It helps to get detailed information about the early stage, growth and future prospects of the mutual fund industry.
