Hospital buildings have immense post-earthquake importance. Post-earthquake both structural and non-structural components of building should remain functional. Performance-Based Design is a powerful approach to structural engineering evolved from ongoing efforts to resolve the differences between the actual observed performance and the expected performance of structures. In this article non-linear static analysis (pushover analysis) has been done to understand the behavior of G+10 multistorey Hospital building located in different seismic zones (III, IV, V) of India having similar geometrical properties using SAP2000. The behavior of multistoried building has been investigated considering Immediate occupancy as performance objective in terms of force-displacement relationships, inelastic behavior of structure and sequential hinge formations etc. From the analysis results, it was observed that, when the zone varies from III to V, base shear, displacement and time period has been increased gradually, indicating the severity of seismic activity. Plastic hinge formation which determines the behaviour of the structure was studied.

Telemedicine has potential to help individuals in rural areas overcome geographical barriers and to improve access to care. The factors that influence the implementation and use of telehealth in critical access hospitals are in needed to be explored and used in a proper manner to provide the required services. This study gives a brief about such factors that affect or influences the use of telemedicine in current societal scenario. Although telemedicine use has become more prevalent, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not widespread; thus, its benefits have not been fully realized. For telehealth to show potential benefits in the long term beyond the public health emergency, its services must fit into changes in the health care landscape, including the advent of alternative care delivery and payment models, greater integration of physical and behavioural health services, and efforts to address workforce challenges. Health care organizations around the world have become increasingly interested in acquiring and implementing telemedicine technology to improve or extend existing patient care and services. The ultimate success of telemedicine in an adopting organization requires adequate attention to both technological and managerial issues.

Every child is unique Children progress rapidly in their early years. Screening and Identification of Disabilities Screening is a procedure that identifies a person who needs further assessment for diagnosis of a disability. Alternatively said, screening helps in `suspecting' disability in a person. A screening procedure does not `confirm' disability, but helps in short listing for detailed assessment. Screening is assessing a whole population in order to identify those individuals for whom some intervention in development would be beneficial. For example 'New-born Hearing Screening' is mandatory in most countries. The 1-3-6 protocol emphasised in the Position Statement of the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing recommends that all new-borns be screened for hearing loss by one month of age, appropriate amplification be provided by three months of age and early intervention needs to commence not later than six months of age. Though this is yet to become mandatory in India, there have been initiatives to create awareness and undertake early screening on the part of National Institutes and some NGOs.

Oral route administration is the most desirable and preferred method of delivering therapeutic agents due its systemic effects. Presently days, various hydrophobic drugs were coming into the market. Disadvantage of these drugs are its bioavailability issues because of poor gastric fluid dissolubility. In this way, it is important to improve its solubility and its penetrability in this manner improving the disintegration, absorption and bioavailability of these drugs. About 40% of orally administered drugs have formulation difficulties due to their insolubility in water. The dissolution rate, absorption, distribution and excretion of drugs depends on its solubility properties. Based on solubility, drugs are classified into the four classes of BCS classification. BCS class II and class IV drugs shows poor water solubility.

Oral sustained release (SR) products offer an advantage over traditional dosage forms by optimizing biopharmaceuticals, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of drugs to reduce the frequency of administration as much as possible once daily is sufficient for penetration, polymer swelling, drug dissolution, drug diffusion and matrix erosion. Superior water-soluble drugs such as diltiazem; Ranitidine is formulated in sustained-release matrix tablets. This article contains basic information on the design of slow-release preparations and their different types. Development, solid and sustained-release oral matrix tablet, has always been a challenge for the pharmaceutical technologist. Most drugs, if not properly formulated, can release, and likely produce the toxic drug concentration after oral administration. Hydrophilic polymers have become the preferred product as an important product Ingredient for formulating sustained release preparations.

It is quite challenging to obtain the optimal load frequency control (LFC) of a complete system with the emergent trends of power system. Restructured power system involve multi sources and multi stakeholders therefore traditional LFC methods are not effective and efficient. The main objective of LFC in deregulated system is to restore the frequency to its nominal value as quickly as possible and minimize tie-line power flow oscillations between neighboring control areas and also monitoring the load matching contracts. Parameters of PID controller are required to be optimized in order to achieve the objectives of LFC. This paper presents a load frequency control of two-area deregulated power system using genetic algorithm taking a suitable objective function that are to minimize the frequency deviations of both the areas and to maintain tie line power exchange according to contractual conditions. A controller is designed for each area to achieve the objectives of LFC. Response of the power system simulated under MATLAB/Simulink obtained and results confirm that the controllers designed using genetic algorithm with suitable objective function are capable of keeping the frequency deviation in the specified range and maintain the tie line power exchange as per the contractual conditions. A comparative analysis of load frequency control using integral controller and GA based controller is also presented.

Intellectual property rights (IPR) is a legal rights which is provided to the inventors or creators, for protecting there inventions or creations for a definite period of time. According to WTO, Intellectual property rights(IPR) are the rights given to persons for the creations . They usually grant the creator an exclusive right for the use of there creation for a definite period of time. The protection will be given not only for invention or innovation but also for literary and artistic works, designs, logos, symbols, images used in commerce. In some foreign countries IP is referred to as industrial property. Intellectual property rights are like any other property right. They allow creators, or owners, of patents, trademarks or copyrighted works to be benefited from their own work or investment. This paper also deals with the history of IPR, objectives & types of IPRs. IPR provide certain exclusive rights to the inventors or creators of that property, in order to enable them to reap commercial benefits from their creative efforts or reputation. There are several types of intellectual property protection like patent, copyright, trademark, tradesecret, Industrial Designs, geographical indications etc.
