 Abstract

The world economy has undergone a lot of stress and anxiety due to the current Pandemic. Dubai is not an exception. The food retail industry is one of sectors that is most affected by the present pandemic. At present, global economic slowdown is felt almost all over the world, which is similar to the financial crisis in 2008 - which was primarily caused by deregulation in the financial industry. The present pandemic which is highly unexpected, has the similar and adverse impacts on the food retail sector. A great fall in demand is experienced in almost all major retain industries except a few. Due to this, there has been a change in consumer behavior, which has tilted towards online purchasing patterns. The article talks about how food retailers in Dubai have had no option but to shift to digital technology to meet consumer needs. Also, different stakeholders have been impacted by this digital disruption in the food industry in Dubai. The effect of this digital transformation has impacted both internal and external stakeholders.

 Abstract

Gas leakage is one among the main problem in Residential areas, Industrial sectors and gas driven vehicles like CNG. Though the security measures considered by the company, leakage of gas has become quite common accident which ends up in loss of life and properties. There are many reasons for fire accidents such as poor rubber quality used while manufacturing, not turning off gas valve while not in use. One among the preventive methods to prevent accidents associated with gas leakage was by developing and installing the gas leakage detector with SMS alert is extremely important and essential to provide some safety to the people. When there is a gas leakage due to above mentioned reasons then MQ135 gas sensor sense the gas in the air by checking air quality and therefore output of sensor goes slow, by which the Arduino detects the change and sends a signal audio buzzer and display board simultaneously to turn on and provides some alert if present within the home or nearby and also the system sends an SMS to the pre-registered mobile number. Hence, this paper presents a gas leakage system with SMS alert via GSM module (Global System for Mobile) and buzzer to alert people, in order that they can take the required precautions and save many lives from this sort of Accidents.

 Abstract

E-Recruitment is the process of recruiting personnel with the use of technology and web based resources. The practice of e-recruitment has made the process more efficient and effective in the organization development. This paper identifies internet recruitment methods from relevant literature, and describes how their benefits of online recruitment can influence the recruitment decision making of the organization.The main success factors of e-recruitment are the value-added services provided by the job sites, cost effectiveness, speed, providing customized solutions, helping to establish relationships with HR managers and facilitates brand building of the companies.The main aim of this study is to highlight the theoretical background of fundamental elements of E-recruitment process and to examine the demographic profile of employees and to analyze the different attributes that promotes E-recruitment process in the organization and also to assess the employees insight and problems accurse in E-recruitment process practices by the organization. In this study data has been collected from issue of questionnaire, the population or sample size for study were only 100 employees working in Accentures Pvt Ltd.The roles of HR department are linked with the help of IT for administrative process. Such by doing so, there is increase time consuming by speed in transactions and decrease in information errors. Therefore this paper seeks broaden the research on the online Recruitment practices positively depends on entire development of the organization.

 Abstract

Background: Adverse Drug Reactions are the recognized hazards of drug therapy and they can occur with any class of drugs. The main aim of this study was to detect, assess, monitor and prevention of adverse drug reactions in inpatients of a tertiary care hospital. Methods and Material: It was a prospective observational study on adverse drug reactions was carried out among inpatients who were between 18-85 years in the tertiary care hospital. A total of 200 prescriptions of patients were included in study. The collected data was sorted and analyzed on the basis of severity, age and gender. Results: A total of 90 ADRs were reported during the study period with male predominance (52%) and geriatric age group. More number of ADRs was from General Medicine and Neurology departments in which the most affected organ system were the Skin (26%) and the GIT (25.5%). The severity assessment revealed that most of them were severe (51%) followed by moderate and mild reactions. Of the reported reactions 33% were definitely preventable and casuality assessment was done which showed that 56% were definite, probable (26%), possible (8%). Conclusion: The study concluded that adverse drug reactions to drugs are common and some of them resulted in increased healthcare cost due to the need of some interventions and increased length of hospital stay. The health system should promote the spontaneous reporting of Adverse Drug Reactions to drugs, proper documentation and periodic reporting to regional pharmacovigilance centers to ensure drug safety.

 Abstract

The machinery design invention consists of several stages that refine the waste plastic and make it reusable for the mankind. The initial section of the design is the incinerator that burn the waste and deduct the amount of waste into small ball shaped material will be liquefied for further refinement. Then harmful gases treatment chamber is followed i.e. electrostatic precipitator that somehow purify the air quality and make the air free from unburnt particles. The condensation chamber effect the air with its cool temperature and a steam will be formed that will be collected into a separate vessel for further processing. After the remaining air will be sent to the downstream chamber where silica gel beads will absorb the remaining harmful gases and the plastic will be recycled without any harm to the environment.

 Abstract

Machine learning in medical imaging plays the greatest disruptive technology in decades. It is being emerged not only to identify cancerous tumors at an earlier stage, but also detect and classify lesions, analyze data, reconstruct images, and more. Cancer is one of the heterogeneous disease consists of many different subclasses. The early diagnosis and prognosis of a cancer type have become a necessity in cancer research for facilitating the subsequent clinical management of patients. Researchers, healthcare organizations, companies from biomedical and bioinformatics look forward for improving clinical outcomes for cancer patients and those who may not by using diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers. But the challenge is distinguishing the mutations that contribute to tumor growth (drivers) from the neutral mutations (passengers). Currently this interpretation of genetic mutations is being done manually based on evidence from text-based clinical literature. This article is focusing on analyzing the performance of multiclass classification algorithms for genetic features.
