 Abstract

Students during COVID-19 pandemic period faced a lot of challenges. Being a sensitive group of society, their mental health becomes the topic of concern. This upheaval has affected the psychological well-being of students. The present study aims to find out the psychological well-being of students during COVID-19 pandemic period through applying WHO (5) Well-being Index. A sample of 80 (40 girls and 40 boys) participants was selected from different CBSE board schools of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India by purposive sampling technique. Results indicate that there is no significant difference in terms of the psychological well-being between girl and boy students. It is also found that those who fall under red flag zone, need to be further referred for proper intervention to address their poor psychological well-being. It is concluded that boy and girl students showed similar psychological well-being during COVID-19 pandemic period.

 Abstract

Introduction: Online payment systems are the kind of payment which is done with the help of Internet. Payment through credit card, debit card, Gpay, Paytm, mobile wallets are the type of online payment systems. This research paper focuses on the factors of the intention to use the online payment systems. The main aim of this paper is to understand the factors and drivers for adoption of mobile payment apps and the concerns which consumers faced while using them. Objective: To study the effect of Attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control on intention to use the online payment systems and to study the effect of perceived usefulness, effort expectancy, social influence, perceived innovativeness, user behavior on intention to use the online payment systems. Methods: In this research respondents are from Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. Where the respondents would be of youth, middle-aged people who use any kind of mobile payment system. Sampling technique used in this research is convenience sampling technique. The research paper is based on UTAUT Model and TPB Model where the sample size is 205. Statistical techniques which have been used in this research is PLS-SEM. In our research we find attitude, trust, user behavior, innovation, effort expectancy, social influence, subjective norms and performance expectancy are the factors which directly influence the intention to use online payment system. As a result, these factors play a significant and positive role for the use of online payment systems.

 Abstract

Heavy metals are key components to cause environmental pollution and heightened level of concentration is toxic to the living organisms. In generally food is the main source of accumulation of toxic metals day by day from various source, they include through soil, water and atmospheric dust. Many disorders like cancer, gene mutation, physiological malformation or physical deformations in pregnant women or very young children. May be one of the reason of consumption of indigenous food. Presently people are fascinate to have fish is the one of the most important ingredients in the daily diet due to this rapid growth of consumption and different practices to produce the aqua products based on the demand. Hence forth the present study focused on intoxication studies on the consumption of freshwater catfish namely Heteropneustes fossilis, collected from different aqua farming cultures. Aim of the work is to predict the different adverse effects of LC50 of lead and cadmium and mortality, behavioural and haematological studies.

 Abstract

As the cases of Covid-19 came to light and subsequently spread around the world during the initial months of 2020, Indian stock markets which were nearing their all-time highs started falling. The economic conditions in the country were also worsening as was observed by the 11-year low GDP numbers recorded in last quarter in Fiscal Year 2019. The spread of coronavirus in India subsequently led to a complete lockdown in the country resulting in complete shutdown of the economic activities followed by a fall in GDP, rise in Inflation & Unemployment rates and fall in Interest rates. This study has tried to find if these economic conditions had any correlation with the fluctuations in the stock markets. The study found that the Inflation rate had a statistically significant impact on the stock market performance whereas Unemployment rate & Interest rates did not significantly impact the market during this Covid-19 pandemic. The study also aimed to find if the performance of the major global indices had any impact on the Indian stock market performance. It was found that several major indices such as NYSE, HANGSENG and FTSE did have a statistically significant impact on the Indian stock indices.
