Municipal solid waste is the very big menace for the environment. Due to rapid increase of human population, urbanization and the industrialization leads to the solid waste accumulation. Solid waste is usually managed through land filling and incineration processes. But both of these methods cause environmental pollution. Hence researchers are seeking alternate option to mitigate the solid waste pollution. In view of the above issues, the present study is focused to control and manage the municipal organic solid waste through biological way. In this present study the bacterial strains were isolated from the municipal waste land filling sites and the effective strains are identified and used to prepare selective bacterial consortium. The consortium with selective bacterial species were activated with two different sugar industry materials namely; (i) jaggery and (ii) molasses. The bacterial consortium activated with two different sources were sprayed on municipal organic waste at different quantity. After the sufficient time interval the biodegraded materials were harvested and subjected to physico chemical analysis. The result revealed that the municipal organic waste degraded by selective bacterial consortium (SBC) activated with molasses have high nutritive value and it degraded the waste effectively when compare to SBC activated with jaggery. The biodegraded waste subjected to seed germination assay to find out the phyto toxic effect of the biodegraded materials. The findings of phyto toxic assay proved that the SBC activated with molasses was effective one to biodegrade the organic waste quickly and efficiently and there was no phyto toxicity in that product. Hence we could recommend this product as an organic supplement to enhance the plant growth.

The deleterious influence of pesticide on the physiological biochemical and histological aspects of several aquatic non-target organisms including gas stations have been well documented. However, much it needs to be studied in the context of ever fluctuating and environmental conditions due to the increase in the pesticidal influx into the ecosystems including the freshwater bodies, at present dealing with the impact of an organophosphate best decide monocrotophos on the whole animal oxygen consumption in normal bilateral eyestalk ablated and eyestalk extract injected freshwater the crab. Barytelphusguerini. Oxygen consumption after day-1, day -4 and day 7 of exposed crabs to lethal and sub lethal concentrations of the pesticides has been estimated although oxygen consumption was found to increase initially in the ablated crabs, rate of oxygen consumption decreases later with the exposure period, whereas eyestalk extract injected crabs exhibit increased oxygen consumption reaching near normal levels for the same period the observation reveals the role of neuroendocrine control of oxygen consumption in the crab. Histological changes In the Gills under lethal exposure and concentration have also been observed.

A trade war is a slippery slope that starts when one country becomes more of a protectionist. An ongoing trade war is continuously witnessed between U.S. and China. Both US and China being trade active economies at global front, the protectionist policy has created economic disturbances at world level. Heavy imposition of tariffs by US on China has restricted the flow of commodities between the nations adversely affecting the global economy in general and China in particular. Chinese retaliation to the move intensified the dispute between the two major economies disrupting the global supply chain. The battle has led to both positive and negative effect on the economies around the globe. The world economy has been slumping down escalating trade tension across the world. The trade dispute is yielding negative spill-over effects for different areas of global concern. However it has opened avenues for India to serve the market and become a prominent exporter to both the countries and thereby consequently raise its exports capacity. This paper is an effort to determine the effects of ongoing trade war on both the disputed participating countries. The researchers shall also examine the most affected economies by the US-China trade war and the superiority that Indian economy shall have.

Abstract - Process modeling and optimization are two important issues in product manufacturing. Selecting the optimum cutting parameters, such as depth of cut, feed rate and spindle speed, is a very important issue for any machining process. In shop practice, the cutting parameters are selected from specialized manual or machining databases, but the range provided in these sources are actually initial values and are not optimal values. The optimization of the processing parameters not only increases the utility for the processing economy, but also the product quality to a large extent. Al 7075 aluminum alloy of 7000 series aluminum alloys can be used in a variety of applications. The lightness and hardness characteristics of grade 7075 are highly appreciated by manufacturers and end users. This article shows an analysis and a comparative study of the contribution of processing parameters, i.e. MMR and MT, towards quality characteristics through the use of experimental design techniques.

Amid COVID-19 pandemic, a nationwide lockdown is imposed in India initially for three weeks from 24th March to 14th April 2020 and extended up to 3rd May 2020. Due to the forced restrictions, pollution level in cities across the country drastically slowed down just within few days which magnetize discussions regarding lock-down to be the effectual alternative measures to be implemented for controlling air pollution. The present article eventually worked on this direction to look upon the air quality scenario amidst the lockdown period scientifi-cally with special reference to the megacity Delhi. With the aid of air quality data of seven pollutant parameters ( PM2.5, SO2, NO2, CO, O3 and NH3) showing the spatial pattern of air quality in pre and during-lockdown phases. The results demonstrated that during lockdown air quality is significantly improved. Introduction A outbreak, named COVID-19, was detected in Wuhan, China, in Dec 2019, and more than 100 countries were affected with disastrous outcomes within three months. On 11 March 2020, it was found that the spread of COVID-19 was caused by the new Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and declared as a pandemic The first documented case of COVID-19 in India was detected on 30 January 2020 in Kerala and increased to three on 3 February when three students returned from Wuhan, China and the first death was registered on 12 March. Till 3 May 2020 the combined number of overall diagnoses with COVID-19 was more than 40 thousand across India. In order to avoid illness, countries have strictly regulated the movement of persons and transportation; limit human interactions; impose stringent quarantine; ban large-scale private and public gatherings; promote social distances; regulate private and public transport and economic activity. India has been undergoing a national lockdown since 24 March 2020, which began with a voluntary public curfew on 22 March, followed by a 21-day lockdown starting from 24 March. The closure of the manufacturing industries, the limitation of human movement and the regulated public transit system have contributed to a decline in the emission of pollutants. Along with the restriction steps to level out the disease curve, several other elders have been affected. Studies by numerous researchers have demonstrated how the shutdown has increased the efficiency of the freshair air . In India, air pollution has been a focus of intense discussion at all stages, primarily due to intensified anthropogenic activities such as rapid urbanisation, accelerated population growth , increased oil usage, automobile emissions and industrial emissions. The goal of this analysis is to examine improvements in air quality in terms of concentration of contaminants during the implementation of lock-down initiatives to counter the COVID-19 pandemic in major cities in India. The objective of the project is to a. Study the changes in air quality during the lockdown period. b. Understanding the overall improvement in air quality during the lockdown period in comparison to the pre-lockdown period and proceeding years. c. Calculate. Monitor and compare Data for a total of eight criteria pollutants namely Particulate Matters (PM2.5 and PM10), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Ozone (O3), Ammonia (NH3) and Nitrogen monoxide (NO). d. Provide insights into the air quality enhancement obtainable by short term periodic suspension of polluting industrial activities as well as transportation and will hopefully supplement necessary start ups to the academicians, policy makers and citizens to chart out healthier policies so as to manage air pollution. In this study, various datasets were taken from WAQI, CBCP AND CPAA. Data is aggregated to a single set by combining and averaging the dataset related to various perimeters obtained from different stations available between the geological locations of 13 cities (Ahmadabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurugram, Hydrabaad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Patna). And further classified as averaged monthly datas. As study focusses on analysis of lockdown effect before, after and during the lockdown, the whole study period is divided into 7 monthly intervals and various analytics related to different phases are derived from it.

Yoga Therapy (YT) Research (R) is a relatively new topic for discussion, but a vast and diverse topic having a substantial spiritual background and backing behind it. Nowadays, its challenge is to 'prove' to the scientific community regarding its 'benefits'! But since it has an enormous spiritual backing, the potential is enormous and, a lot needs to be explored. As with any other 'agendas' that we come across, there's a possibility of negative and positive associations with it. YTR has its own sets of strengths and weaknesses, and therefore, it's advisable first to know the background and then discuss the actual agenda, i.e., SWOT analysis of YTR.

ABSTRACT Mosquitoes are the most important single group of insects in terms of public health importance, which transmit a number of diseases such as filariasis, dengue, malaria and chickungunya fever. Some species transmit major disease like, Aedes aegypti, which is a vector of dengue disease distributed throughout tropical as well as subtropical zones. The continuous application of synthetic insecticides causes development of resistance in vector species, biological magnification of toxic substances through the food chain and adverse effects on environmental quality and non-target organisms including human health. Application of active toxic agents from plant extracts as an alternative mosquito control strategy was available from ancient times. To determine biologically active compounds ?-sitosterol and Saponin from the petroleum ether fruit extract of C. melo which is used against the larvae of Aedes aegypti. The Larval mortality was observed after 24h exposure and highest larval mortality was found in petroleum ether fruit and leaf extract of C. melo.
