In view of the intense competition amongst the hotels, it has become necessary to impart systematic training to its employees to ensure the service quality levels in the organization. The present study is based on a survey of selected hotels in the state of Andhra Pradesh to ascertain the impact of Employee Age and Educational qualification on his perceptions about training program effectiveness. The reliability of the questionnaire prepared for this study has been verified based on the Cronbachs Alpha of the pilot study responses. The sample has been selected based on stratified random sampling and also convenience sample with a sample size of 650 respondents from a population of 700 hotels in Andhra Pradesh. Based on the statistical analysis of the survey, it has been found that there is a significant difference amongst the various age groups in their perception about Training effectiveness. Similarly, it has been found that there is a significant difference amongst various categories based on educational attainments in their perceptions about training effectiveness.

In the Madras Presidency the deep- rooted conservative ideas among the dominant sections resulted in many social evils such as Devadasi System, Child-Marriage and Forced Widowhood. Among the social evils, forced widowhood affected a major fraction of the women society. The dictionary defines widow as a woman whose husband is dead and who has not remarried and a widower as a man whose wife is dead and who has not married again. Generally speaking, widowhood is a state of being a widow or a widower. But the problem in Tamil Nadu was that the state of widowhood was forced only on women. In India widowhood was not just transition from one marital status to another after the death of the husband. There were a number of journals in Tamil Nadu that worked for the improved well-being of the widows. The press could achieve its goal of creating confidence in the minds of widows, unclutteredness in the minds of the parents and responsiveness in the minds of the public.

In this modern world, Technologies plays a major role in transportation especially in railways. Most common problems faced by passengers while travelling in train is that they find some difficulty to know whether they have reached their destination station or not. Though Google maps can be used to find location, it seems difficult in the absence of network. This project helps them to overcome those difficulties. A prototype model is designed. Using RFID reader and Tag, passengers are informed about the location 1km before reaching the station. Raspberry pi3 gets information from the reader and the signal is passed to the speaker. Thus, passengers can easily identify the station.

Henry Fielding has been thought to reveal a 'male' outlook in his novels. In his last novel Amelia (1751), the narrator makes certain generalizations regarding women which betray the patriarchal conditioning which was prevalent in eighteenth century England. Some women characters in the novel are envisaged as types rather than individuals in their own right. Amelia herself seems to be the perfect embodiment of the ideal woman described in eighteenth century conduct books and moral essays. She is praised by the narrator for her softness, sweetness and modesty. She is the ideal wife and mother delighting in domestic life and dutiful towards her husband. In the second half of the eighteenth century, it is remarkable that three hundred to four hundred women published articles in response to anti-feminist diatribes by men. The tradition of rationalist feminism which flourished at this time concentrated on arguing the right of women to be regarded as men's equals in the possessing of equal rational and moral potential. Critiques of standards in the education of girls accompanied this. In his last novel we will find that at times Fielding felt an essential sympathy with the arguments used by feminists in the eighteenth century. The problems of the married woman including the issue of the deference of a wife to her husband recurs in Fielding's last novel. He suggests that in contrast to other marriages in the novel, the marriage of Amelia and her husband Booth is based on friendship and Amelia's tenderness and care towards her husband is due not to wifely subservience but to her capacity for the highest friendship. Ideas such as the acceptance of the authority of the husband and the separate spheres of activity of husband and wife are discussed and consciously departed from in the relationship between Amelia and Booth. It is also seen that Amelia has excellent presence of mind and can judge people better than her husband. Thus Fielding supports the idea that women are capable of the highest intelligence. He shows Amelia to often disregard the conventions of society and go beyond what was expected of her sex by the patriarchal society of the time. She is morally independent and a source of strength to her husband. Thus while Amelia Fielding's last novel reflects the patriarchal ideology of the eighteenth century, it also departs from it in many ways.

Ultrasonic wave propagation in medium affects physical properties and hence can furnish information about molecular interaction of liquid liquid mixture .Ultrasonic velocity is an important physical parameter which mainly depends on molecular interaction .Densities and ultrasonic velocities of binary mixtures have been measured at 303 K. The observed data was utilized to calculate some ultrasonic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility, acoustic impedance, relaxation time intermolecular free length .The results obtained were discussed in terms of molecular interaction between components in liquid mixture .

Diet problem is an application of Linear programming problem (LPP). Linear programming is a technique of Operations Research for determining an optimum schedule of interdependent activities in view of the available resources. The word programming means determining the plan of action from amongst several alternatives and the word linear refers to the fact that the relationships involved are linear. The various nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals in different food items like wheat, rice, milk, carrot, groundnuts, etc. are helpful for maintenance, growth, reproduction and health of human being. This paper is the study of determining the optimum solution and analyzing its sensitivity for diet problem of sedentary and moderate working women in India. We solved this problem by using the LPP solver tool in MS-Excel. In this paper the various food items are taken as decision variables and constrains are designed corresponding to different nutrients. In the construction of constraints we have assumed that any intake of more than the minimum requirement of nutrients is not harmful to the human body. Here the objective is to find the optimum solution that is to find the quantity of food items that should be consumed to minimize the cost of diet which will fulfil the minimum requirement of nutrients for these two types of women. Also we analyzed the sensitivity of this optimum solution.
