Fungal infections of the skin, hair, and nails are common dermatological conditions encountered in outpatient departments (OPDs) worldwide. The diagnostic methods for these infections include fungal culture and potassium hydroxide (KOH) mount examination. This study aims to provide a comparative analysis of these two diagnostic techniques in the context of a dermatology OPD at Zonal Hospital Dharamshala, shedding light on their respective advantages and limitations. A total of 48 OPD patients presenting with suspected fungal infections were enrolled in the study. Results indicate that both methods have their utility, but their diagnostic accuracy, turnaround time, and cost-effectiveness vary. A comprehensive evaluation is required to make an informed choice between these techniques, considering the resources and clinical demands of the specific healthcare setting.

In order to ensure the protection of individuals' personal data in the digital age, it is essential to have a well-defined set of data protection regulations in place. This article provides a comparison of two of the most important data protection regulations in India, namely the GDPR and the DPDP. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) is a major development for India's Privacy System, as it aims to replace the existing patchwork of data protection laws and regulations. There has been a long-standing need for the Government of India to establish a comprehensive and unified data protection regime that is comparable to global standards. Because of its identical norms and regulations, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act is deemed equivalent to the General Data Protection Regulation. The first section outlines the measures that led to the creation of GDPR and how they have influenced the creation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. This article provides an overview while comparing and discussing how DPDP compares to the EU's GDPR. GDPR has a significant impact on the development of the DPDPA, 2023. While both legislations seek to protect personal data, they differ in a number of ways, including scope, territorial applicability, and data subject rights. Furthermore, we want to delve deeper into the key clauses of both India's Personal Data Protection Act and the EU's GDPR. We have also tried to highlight certain key issues and analysis that are present in the newly formed Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The cities will probably continue expanding and expand, necessitating careful planning, management, and improvement of the current infrastructure. The supply of appropriate amenities is a major concern for planners. The primary goal of the research is to examine the rate of urbanization and its trends in the surrounding city or town, as well as to identify potential locations for future development. Infrastructure data (road, water supply, drainage, building) have been analyzed and digitized at 1:4000 scale using Google Earth. Density analysis was performed to understand the highest concentration of infrastructure within the study site. Highest population density is calculated for ward no. 8,9, 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22. The highest road density is calculated for ward no 5, 8, 9 and 12. Urban planners may now develop an expert decision support system targeted at different decision-making processes by using remote sensing and geographic information systems.

Both Post feminism and Third Wave Feminism emerged from 1970s feminist theory, expanding upon and challenging certain concepts. A central point of contention addressed by postfeminists and third wave feminists revolves around the concept of identity. While Second Wave feminists perceived identity as fixed and stable, emphasizing shared experiences, other philosophical and cultural movements questioned the notion of a stable, fixed identity and subjecthood. The incorporation of these ideas into feminism gained urgency as feminism evolved from a purely political movement to a comprehensive cultural theory or set of theories. Post feminism adopted the idea of a fluid and shifting identity, arguing that an emphasis on collective action could generate internal strains by neglecting differences, initially of class and color, and ultimately of identity. Third Wave feminism engages with post feminism on the topic of identity but asserts that collectivism remains relevant, as women have yet to attain complete freedom. Third Wavers contend that Post feminism leans towards competitive individualism, overlooking the various ways women experience fear, violence, and political and economic underprivilege. Texts from the Third Wave, such as Third Wave Agenda, Manifesta, and Colonize This! grapple with women's intersectional identities and call for an end to all forms of oppression. This paper aims to analyze the ideological premises and differences between these two feminist strands in constructing gender and identity. Seminal works from both strands will be scrutinized to highlight the opposition between their sources and mechanisms, contributing to the construction of a coherent version of feminism.

The Maxim" yatra naryastupujyanteramanthetatradevatha" reflects the cherished tradition of our Country, but it is not being practiced by society at large and women are subjected to many forms of harassment and cruelty in the modern society, while subject matter herein is regarding Domestic Violence- a women suffer in her marital home at the hands of her husband and his relatives .In 1983 Domestic violence was recognized as a specific criminal offence by including section 498A. [Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty.] in Indian Penal Code. This section deals with cruelty by husband or a relative of husband towards a married woman. The Acts of cruelty which fall under explanation (a) cruelty and (b) harassment of section 498A of IPC are made cognizable offences. The introduction of Section 498A did not either reduced or mitigated the domestic violence against women but it is continuing unabated making life of married woman miasmic. To contain the Acts of domestic violence and to give protection to woman from domestic violence a new legislation by the title "The Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act 2005 "was passed by Parliament on 24/08/2005 which received assent of the President on 13/09/2005

Keoladeo National Park (KNP), a world heritage site is a unique ecosystem known for various resident and migratory birds. This important wetland was set aside as a bird's sanctuary in 1956 and it was elevated to the status of a national park in 1981. It has distinction of being the only Indian wetland to be included under both the Ramsar and the World Heritage convention. Chital is the third largest deer inhabiting the plains of India. Its coat is rufous brown and covered with white spots. In the present study, habitat suitability analysis for Chital has been done in the various blocks of KNP. Each block was evaluated with respect to habitat parameters, viz., food, cover, water, space and disturbance. High resolution satellite data, IRS P6 (Resourcesat-1) LISS IV and IRS P5 (Cartosat -1) PAN data were used to generate the habitat suitability map. Data base design, creation and organization were carried out using ERDAS IMAGINE (8.7) image processing software and ARC/GIS (9.1) software. Total area of KNP was worked out as 28.96 Sq.Km. Out of total suitable area; it is observed that 60.36% area suitable for Chital. High Resolution satellite data thus can easily calculate the suitable area for ungulate.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common chronic inflammatory skin condition in children. Exposure to environmental factors, such as passive smoking, has been suggested as a potential risk factor for the development and exacerbation of AD. This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the relationship between passive smoking and the prevalence of atopic dermatitis in a cohort of 495 children. Our findings reveal significant associations between passive smoking and atopic dermatitis, highlighting the importance of recognizing environmental influences in the management of pediatric skin conditions.

The total number of motor vehicles is still increasing at a high rate due to the social economy's rapid expansion and the speed at which cities are becoming more populated. Large and medium-sized cities' roads are getting more and more congested, which increases the frequency of traffic accidents. Finding accident hotspots early on is crucial to improving road safety and lowering the number of traffic accidents. Eight impact factors (holiday, day of week, time, rush hour traffic, accident location type, accident type, weather, responsibility, and black spot) were set for the analytic dataset in this study, which included data from traffic accidents on the Lianfeng Middle Road, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City. The classic Kmeans clustering algorithm's drawbacks were addressed by the proposal of the enhanced algorithm, which is vulnerable to early clustering centres and outliers. The dataset's traffic accidents were split into two groups using this algorithm: black spots and non-black spots. After that, we used the new dataset to build a black spot recognition model using a Bayesian network, and we compared it with other popular methods including the ID3 decision tree, logistic regression, and support vector machine. As demonstrated by the values of the ROC area, TP rate, FP rate, accuracy, precision, recall, F-measure, and F-measure reaching 0.618, 0.668, 0.580, 0.650, 0.668, 0.590, and 0.668, respectively, the Bayesian network was the most successful model for locating black spots associated with traffic accidents. In addition, a bivariate correlation model was used to confirm the impact factors and black spots' link. The findings showed that Black spots, which had a value of sig<0.05, showed significant associations with the accident location type, accident type, time, and responsibility. In order to greatly improve road safety, the conclusions may offer reference data for the detection and avoidance of high-risk areas for accidents.

Abstract: Nowadays, new concepts for high-rise and twin towers construction are needed to resist the effects of seismic and wind forces. The main reason is the need for space, both residential and commercial, in urban areas. Globally, more or less about 10 million people move to urban areas each month. Some very large cities don't have much space available to build buildings. Tall buildings are susceptible to lateral movement, or drift, due to wind or earthquake forces. Therefore it is very important to design such types of structures so that they withstand wind or earthquake forces. This research work analyzes the seismic behavior of a gate-type twin tower G+10 floor building with the top three floors connected using linear dynamic earthquake analysis. We have considered a model of a gate-type twin tower structure to achieve desirable results in terms of storey drift, displacement, absolute moment, and temperature variation with temperature stresses under seismic forces for seismic zone III and medium type of soil using STAAD Pro. Software.
