This paper investigates the performance of the lap length of CFRP sheets in strengthened RC beams to predict the ultimate load and deflection. A nonlinear 3D finite element model (FEM) subjected to a single point load is developed using ABAQUS. The behaviour of beams is described by evaluating their respective material models. The concrete-CFRP interface is represented by a cohesive zone model and the CFRP is modelled using a linear elastic isotropic model. Lap splicing of CFRP sheets is usually adopted for the transition of forces. Here, the CFRP is lapped for the length of 25mm, 50mm, and 75mm at mid-span and 1/3rd span of the beam. The numerical analysis aligns well with experimental findings in terms of load-deflection response when employing the cohesive bond model. The effect of the variation in the grade of concrete and the depth of the beam is also taken into account. It is observed that 50mm lap length sustains higher load-carrying capacity for the variation in the grade of concrete and depth of the beam. A 50mm lap length is found to be optimum.

Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) has become increasingly popular in the construction industry due to its sustainable and cost-effective characteristics, serving as a viable alternative to traditional building materials. Optimizing the profile of CFS sections has proven effective in enhancing the structural efficiency of members by mitigating buckling instabilities that could lead to premature failure. A great example of such optimization is found in the CFS sigma section, which differs from the conventional lipped C-section by incorporating a web-stiffening feature to enhance resistance to both local and distortional buckling. This experimental investigation delves into the behavior of CFS sigma beams under eccentric loading, a condition that induces combined bending and torsional moments. The research seeks to interpret prevalent failure modes in these beams and assess the impact of modifying geometric parameters on their load-bearing capacity. A carefully designed test setup was employed to ensure compliance with prescribed loading and boundary conditions. Concurrently, numerical models were developed using Abaqus Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to simulate the behavior of the tested beams. These models were calibrated against the experimental results, enabling the generation of load-displacement curves to offer deeper insights into the research findings.

Sericulture in India is as old as Indian culture itself. India has emerged as a prominent sericulture practising country in the world landscape. The silkworms' healthy and vigorous growth is dependent on the quality of the mulberry leaf. Diseases are a key limiting issue in Mulberry farming, with Cercosporamoricola Cooke, the incitant of leaf spot, being one among them, inflicting significant harm to leaf yield while also affecting silkworm health. When four plant extracts and three plant oils were tested against the pathogen, Eucalyptus globules at 10% (72.59%) and Madhucaindica oil (3%) shown the greatest inhibition. Among the many fungal biocontrol agents tested against the disease, Trichodermaviride (80.55 percent) inhibited mycelial growth much more than the control.

The Electrification of the transportation sector is one of the viable solutions in minimizing the carbon emission over the atmosphere. Due to the rapid growth of electric vehicles in the market, electric vehicle charging stations are in demand among electric vehicle users. As charging of electric vehicles takes a long time, prebooking of charging slots can be done to avoid the waiting time. Artificial intelligence leverages computers and machines to mimic the artificially problem- solving and decision-making capabilities of the human mind. In general AI is a field, which combines computer science and datasets, to enable problem- solving. In the existing system, the requests are handled on First Come First Serve basis. The complexity of using FCFS is its long wait times. In the proposed system, the complexity of FCFS is overcome by using the round-robin scheduling algorithm which allocates slots based on predefined time intervals. Therefore the availability of free booking slots is known to the user. KNN Algorithm is used to find the nearest charging station. The proposed system will result in the reduction of waiting time and good accuracy.

Bianchi type-III cosmological models within the frame work of f(R,T) gravity have been investigated in the presence of Lyra's geometry. To obtain the solution of the field equation with f(R,T) gravity based on Lyra's geometry, we consider second case of the f(R,T) model i.e. f(R,T)=f_1 (R)+f_2 (T), where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the source matter. Here we consider (EoS) state of the form p=?? where ? is a constant. The physical parameters have studied in this paper.

Abstract: Each year, several tomato plant illnesses cause farmers to lose money and squander their crops. These diseases of the tomato plant are not easily known. Though tomatoes can be purchased, we will never know the status of the tomato plant. To overcome this and to make farmers and consumers have a happy and healthy life, we can design a web application that detects the status of the tomato plant. Our research focuses on the construction of a strong and accurate classification model capable of identifying several illnesses affecting tomato leaves, including early blight, late blight, bacterial spot, and mosaic virus. We deployed a diversified dataset comprising high-resolution photos of damaged and healthy tomato leaves, obtained from different places and under varying environmental conditions. The results illustrate the model's high accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity in differentiating between distinct tomato leaf illnesses and healthy leaves. The project seeks to develop a web application that leverages image classification using convolutional neural networks (CNN) to help tomato growers detect and prevent plant illnesses, which are a major cause of economic loss and crop waste. The program will enable farmers to upload a picture of their tomato plants and obtain an immediate evaluation of whether the plant is healthy or infected. By doing so, we can become familiar with the position of the particular tomato and the tomato plant. The technology stack for this project will contain TensorFlow for model creation, data augmentation, and the TF dataset, as well as React JS, which is used for front-end development, and Flask for back-end development.

As we look around, we can see that the world is constantly changing, and this can be particularly challenging for young people. There are many stressors that can impact their well-being and development, including family conflicts, peer interactions, socio-cultural components, and physical and mental health risk factors. Unfortunately, the impact of these stressors can be severe and long-lasting, with research indicating that many young people struggle with depression, anxiety, and even suicide due to these challenges. To address these issues, it is crucial that we rethink the purpose of higher education. Rather than just focusing on academic performance or job creation, colleges need to prioritize the well-being and happiness of their students. By implementing a curriculum that fosters emotional intelligence, we can create a more nurturing environment that promotes growth and development. This approach will help young people to not only succeed academically but also develop a deeper understanding of themselves and others. As educationists, we can work together to create a better future for our young mass. By focusing on their well-being and happiness, we can create a more balanced and supportive environment that promotes growth and development. The implementation of the Happiness Curriculum in the higher education framework is one way to achieve this goal. It is unacceptable that India ranks as low as 122 out of 155 countries evaluated in the 2017 World Happiness Report. As a developing country, it is imperative that we provide our people with every opportunity to succeed, and this includes a curriculum that not only promotes academic excellence but also fosters happiness, confidence, and self-awareness among students. The launch of the Happiness Curriculum is a positive step in this direction, and it is crucial that we implement this curriculum in higher education. A 'Happiness Curriculum' will offer students enrichment opportunities, self-learning, peer-learning, and group learning, and will ensure that they are better equipped to face the challenges of the future.
