This study aimed to unveil the experiences of Indigenous College Students in the Province of Tarlac. The paper includes their demographic profile, life experiences, identified existing programs of state universities and local and national government, measures to solve prevailing problems and the implication of the study for public administration. Through this study, the researcher sought to address and discern the IP college students at Tarlac State University (TSU) and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) sentiments from their life experiences. In addition, the researcher used qualitative case study and random sampling method. A total of thirty (30) respondents took part in this study from different cultural communities in the Province of Tarlac. Findings revealed that the respondents are part of Ayta Abellen/Abelling and Ayta Mag-Antsi and serve as IP Youth in their respective cultural communities, and they are the only hope of their family to finish tertiary education. All the respondents' parents did not pursue tertiary education claiming that they inherit it from their ancestors. In addition, financial problems are the main reason why IP students can not pursue tertiary education. The researcher found out that (1) financial constraint, (2) proximity of school and (3) degree related to the needs of their community are the major factors affecting their choice of degree. Despite the long-time clamor of discrimination, the students still experience hurtful bullying and disrespect from the society. There are six (6) identified hindrances in pursuit to tertiary education of the IP Students, specifically, (1) weak signal connectivity, (2) bullying and discrimination, (3) language barriers, (4) financial constraints, (5) social injustices: terrorist groups and (6) Covid-19 Pandemic. Furthermore, an action plan was proposed and created by the researcher and respondents to address the problems encountered by the IP Students. In summary, the study reveals the plight and the stories of the IP Students in the Province of Tarlac. They cry for the collaborative involvement of all stakeholders in an all-encompassing and culturally aware strategy to protect the provision of essential services, especially in the areas of education and government service delivery. Based on the life experiences and most pressing problems of the Indigenous students, the government can use this paper as basis of policy formulation to bring the services closer to the cultural communities to uplift and to produce a more inclusive, responsive, and responsible members of the indigenous peoples in pursuit to nation building.

The world does not see modern agriculture to be moving in the direction necessary to meet the problem of food security. The climate is changing, there is water scarcity, and our methods for producing food are no longer sustainable. Modern agriculture and allied technology were viewed from a completely new perspective that neglected the traditional indigenous agricultural and allied practices that were field-tested and developed by farmers. Traditional indigenous agriculture is a knowledge base and the result of farming practices being adapted to the local environment. Bio - Physical Constraints Occurrence of heavy weed growth, Heavy pest and disease incidence, Complexity of new practices, High cost of high-yielding variety seeds, Non-availability of suitable high-yielding varieties. And Technological constraints. Lack of conviction in the new technology. Lack of awareness about improved rice technologies. Lack of technology guidance from extension personnel. A sample size of three hundred was fixed for the study considering the limitations of time and other resources. From the list of farmers in the selected five villages, farmers who had practiced both agriculture and dairy practices were identified. A proportionate random sampling method was used to select the 300 respondents from the selected five villages. A salient findings of the study bio physical constraints occurrence of heavy weed growth, heavy pest and disease incidence, complexity of new practices, high cost of high-yielding variety seeds and non-availability of suitable high-yielding varieties. Technological constraints lack of conviction in the new technology, lack of awareness about improved rice technologies and lack of technology guidance from extension personnel.

In the present study, Powder formulation as an energy drink was developed by using ingredients which have proved for its nutritional potential. The key ingredients include millets, wheat, cashew, Almond, pista, oats, Pumpkin seed, Sunflower seed, almond gum, Flax seed, Walnut, Melon seed and Monk fruit which is used as a sweetening agent to mask the unpleasant taste. The powder formulation is mainly used to enhance the immunity in malnutrition deficiencies. Granules of energy drink powder was prepared using almond gum with varying concentration of 1 and 2% w/v. Evaluation studies of powder formulation was carried out such as Sensory studies, Moisture content, Sieve analysis and Nutritional content. The F1 formulation was found to be better compared to F2, F3 and F4 since dough was adhered to the mesh which may be due to the oil contents which are comparatively more. In F1 formulation, the granules are retained 95%more on the 44 Mesh size and in the range of 345-375mm. The energy drink powder contains more amount of nutrients which will in turn helps to boost the energy and reduce the hunger. Hence, Formulation delays feeling of hunger for up to four hours. Therefore, an attempt was made to prepare a powder formulation as an energy drink.

Globally climate change is occurring at an alarming rate, Ethiopia has been identified as one of the most vulnerable countries to this change. The impact of climate change is vary by gender. Hence, this study is investigate the impact of climate change on agricultural production, water resource, and assesses the perception of WHHs and determinants of climate change adaptation strategies applied by WHHs to reduce the impact of climate change. The study employed multi-stage random sampling procedure to select study area as well as sample respondents. Primary data have been collected from 168 women sample respondents using interview schedule, Focus Group Discussions, Key Informants Interviews, and observation methods. Descriptive statistics and multinomial logistic regression were used to analyze the quantitative data. While narration and triangulation techniques were used to analyze the qualitative data. The study result indicated that 90.5% of the respondents believed that temperature was increased and similarly 92.3% witnessed that rainfall decreased in their village. The multinomial logistic model result on climate change adaption strategies revealed that level of education, frequency of extension visit, farm size, distance to nearest road, TTLU, participation in any extension service trainings on climate change, and have informed/ perceived- about climate change were the key factors to influence women farmers to choose of adaption strategies significantly at p<10%. As climate change is the main problem, which is beyond the capacity of WHHs, it is quite pertinent to capacitate WHHs government and any developmental organization should play meaningful roles to create opportunities that helped them to engage in those activities that are less sensitive to climate change.

Purpose: Dalit women stand at the lowest strata of society. They have faced double wrath of being women belonging to Dalits. With the rise in the necessity of higher education, Dalit women are opting for it. But here they too face various challenges. Thus, this study aims to understand challenges faced by Dalit women in higher education with respect to Uttar Pradesh. Design/methodology/approach: The study is qualitative and descriptive in nature. A sample of 6 Dalit women has been chosen from the state of Uttar Pradesh using stratified random sampling. The data collected through personal in-depth interviews have been analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings: The study found that major challenges they face are related to lack of awareness of government schemes and fear of bullying. It was also found that family support helps Dalit women to opt for higher education. Also, the reservation system and various government schemes offered for girl education encourage them to pursue higher education. Originality/Value: The previous literature has a scarcity of studies dealing with challenges faced by Dalit women in higher education with respect to Uttar Pradesh. The present study aims to bridge the gap by conducting a qualitative study to understand these challenges.

Respiratory tract infections (RTIs) are a target of public health development due to their widespread prevalence, irritability, and reported variations worldwide. Clinical findings range from asymptomatic or mild to morbidity or death. Diagnosis must be made quickly to ensure patient satisfaction and take prompt action. Current methods for RTI studies in clinical trials rely on a variety of techniques, including traditional gold standard methods (of which ancient cultures are often used) and the refractive process (e.g., molecular approach), which is often used to understand diseases and disorders. Although this test needs to be used appropriately in different patients, the use of molecular methods from the syndromic process has the potential to be a powerful decision-maker in the management of the patient examination. They radically shorten the time to results and increase the detection of diseases associated with conventional medicine. Additionally, team collaboration, when applied with discretion and careful interpretation, can improve antibiotic use and patient outcomes and improve laboratory work performance. This review provides an overview of the main etiological, clinical and epidemiological aspects of RTI, focusing on clinical diagnosis and the potential of syndromic groups.
