Introduction: Health care associated infections (HCAIs) or hospital acquired infections (HAIs) are infections that occur after 48 hours of hospitalization but are neither present nor incubating upon hospital admission. Health care-associated infections (HAIs) have become a global patient safety concern. Device-associated infections (DAIs) like ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), central line-associated blood stream infections (CLA-BSIs) and catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CA-UTIs) together account for the majority of these infections. Aims and objectives--Medical device-associated candida infections at a tertiary care teaching hospital of U.P. India? with an aim to evaluate rate of medical device-associated candida infections. Materials and methods: This study was conducted in Department of Microbiology, Rama Medical College Hospital & Research Centre Kanpur from January 2018 to December 2018. In this study, the following three commonly encountered medical devices associated infections (MDAI), ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), central line associated blood stream infections (CLABSI) and catheter associated urinary tract infection (CA-UTI), as per the definition of CDCs National Nosocomial Infection Surveillance (NNIS) system criteria, were included. Results: During the study period, a total of 928 patients were exposed to different types of medical devices for a total duration of 3334 days. Out of these, 41 (4.4%) patients developed different types of Medical device associated infection (MDAI). Bacterial infection was noted in 31 (3.3%) patients, where candida spp. were isolated from 10 (1.0%) cases. The overall rate of MDAI in our hospital was 12.2 per 1000 devices days. The overall rates of bacterial and candida MDAI (1000 devices days) were 9.2 and 2.9 respectively. Conclusion: Systematic surveillance of device-associated infections has facilitated a reduction in the rates of DAIs and an increased compliance to preventive bundles and hand hygiene. Identification of priority areas, focused interventions and prompt information dissemination have aided in this reduction.

In the dynamic landscape of the hotel industry, the traditional manual checkout processes are being revolutionized by the proposed project leveraging Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and NodeMCU microcontrollers. This research introduces a transformative solution aimed at enhancing guest experiences and operational efficiency. The innovative system issues RFID cards to guests, containing personalized booking and payment information, eliminating the need for conventional room keys and manual verification at the front desk. NodeMCU facilitates seamless communication between RFID readers and the hotel's web interface, creating a secure and efficient bridge between hardware and software components. By comparing the existing manual checkout systems with this RFID-based approach, the research harnesses the potential of technology to redefine the guest checkout experience. The project not only expedites the checkout process but also minimizes errors associated with manual procedures, significantly improving overall security. This groundbreaking solution reflects a paradigm shift in the hotel industry, addressing the evolving expectations of modern travelers for streamlined, contactless, and personalized services. The integration of RFID technology with NodeMCU positions hotels to embrace digital transformation, offering a more secure, efficient, and guest-centric approach to checkout procedures, thus contributing to the continual evolution of the hospitality sector.

The suffering of infertility is a product of a pronatal society, which values women largely for their ability to bear children. Source of Data-The infertile women of selected hospitals of C.G. Research approach-Quantitative approach. Research design-Pre - experimental one group pre- test post- test design. Sampling technique-Non probability Purposive Sampling Technique The above table depicts the information regarding association between the age and the pre test knowledge score , and it has been revealed that the value found to be 16.35 at degree of freedom 6 .Thus , it can be concluded that the age is dependent factor of pre test knowledge score. While analyzing the data, regarding the association of education with the samples pre test knowledge score , it has been revealed that the value found to be 41.68 at 9 degree of freedom. Thus the educational level has a significant associating with the pre test knowledge score . While analyzing the data, regarding the association of reason for infertility with the samples pre test knowledge score , it has been revealed that the value found to be 39.52 at 3 degree of freedom. Thus the reason for infertility level has a significant associating with the pre test knowledge score .Conclusion Thus the above chapter the data analysis regarding the effectiveness of health care package regarding improvement in knowledge , attitude and practice score regarding management of infertility among the infertile women.

Adolescence in girls is a turbulent period, which includes stressful events like menarche, considered as a landmark of female puberty. The girl might receive the menarche positively however negative responses such as shame, fear, anxiety and depression are more common. The study made use of one group pretest and posttest design. Convenient sampling method was used to select 150 samples. Video assisted teaching program was administered to the samples and the effectiveness of video assisted teaching program was evaluated. (122) 81.33% had inadequate knowledge and (28) 18.67% had moderately adequate knowledge in the pre-test. 74.67% had adequate knowledge and 25.33% had moderately adequate knowledge in post-test.The mean post-test knowledge score was significantly higher than the mean pre-test knowledge score at 0.001 levels. This indicated that the video assisted teaching program has helped the samples to improve their knowledge on puberty. The present study finding shows that the samples who were attending the video assisted teaching program have shown improvement in the level of knowledge which was proved statistically. The respondents expressed their gratitude for the knowledge they gathered regarding puberty. This feedback led the future researcher to use the questionnaire as a guide for assessing knowledge on puberty. The Headmistress and teachers were appreciated the topic and video compact disc.

Memory plays a very important role in our learning and psychological growth. Through memory of our past experiences, we handle new situations, it helps us in our relearning problem solving and thinking. Memory loss is an unusual forgetfulness in which person may not be able to remember new events, recall one or more memories of the past. Memory loss affects the individual"s day to day functioning, professional and social life. Middle and older adults have a high risk for developing memory loss. So the best way of reducing the risk of developing memory loss is to provide IEC regarding memory loss among middle age people and it is found to be more valuable in creating awareness.A pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design was adopted and Non-probability convenient sampling technique was chosen for this study. The total number of samples for the present study was 60 middle aged adults. The study was conducted in a selected rural area at Indore. Data were collected by means of structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge and three point likert scale was used to assess the attitude regarding memory loss. The subjects received Information Education Communication (IEC) regarding memory loss. The collected data were analyzed by using both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Independent ,,t" test was used to evaluate the effectiveness of Information Education Communication (IEC) on knowledge and attitude regarding memory loss. The obtained ,,t" value for knowledge 42.90 and for attitude 33.55 was significant at p<0.05 level. Conclusion : The findings of the study revealed that Information Education Communication (IEC) was effective in improving knowledge and attitude regarding memory loss among middle aged adults.
