ABSTRACT: Gender inequality is the social phenomenon in which men and women are not treated equally. Citizenship is not just a certain status defined by a set of rights and responsibilities. Citizenship should be inclusive, incorporating the interests and needs of all citizens. A gender perspective on citizenship begins with an assertion of the rights of all women and men to equal treatment. Citizenship should also be an active concept, beyond mere status and formal rights. Much of the literature on gender and citizenship discusses the structural constrains that women face in exercising citizenship rights, in terms of law, policies and formal public divergences in many feminist theories. Many writers such as Marshall, Manu and Turner discuss the citizenship issues but unfortunately the absence of gender issue in citizenship debate is almost a key feature of their writings. The paper argues the citizenship cannot be understood without gender relation. Citizenship is an inclusive concept encompassing both men and women.

Glaucoma is a chronic and progressive eye disease characterized by optic nerve damage and gradual loss of vision. Early detection and timely intervention are critical to preventing irreversible vision impairment. In recent years, advancements in machine learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), have shown promise in automated glaucoma detection through the analysis of retinal images. This study proposes a robust glaucoma detection framework that integrates image enhancement techniques like Retinex, state-of-the-art CNN architectures, and statistical methodologies such as Design of Experiments (DOE). The Retinex enhancement process is employed to improve the quality and contrast of fundus images, enhancing the subsequent CNN-based feature extraction. CNNs, designed to identify distinctive patterns and features indicative of glaucoma, are optimized using DOE to achieve enhanced detection performance. The proposed framework exhibits a high degree of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity, making it a potential candidate for effective glaucoma screening and diagnosis. The integration of image enhancement, deep learning, and statistical optimization in this framework underscores the significant potential for advancements in glaucoma detection, aiding ophthalmologists in early diagnosis and appropriate patient management.

Abstract:- In the present paper a study is made on feminist discourse portrayed in Poile Sengupta's play 'Mangalam'. Poile Sengupta is an eminent Indian playwright who gives a new direction for female to establish their position in the patriarchal society. Her plays are based on the sensitive social issues that deal with the themes of feminism, patriarchy, exploitation, subjugation, oppression, gender discrimination and violence. In her plays, she tries to reveal several types of violence that usually is inflicted on female body. The present research paper's aim is to study the status of women's predicament and sufferings under the hegemony of men. Main purpose of this paper is to expose the real position of women who are suppressed and exploited by male authority. Through this paper, the playwright raises her voice to highlight the social issues related to women. In this paper, I will try to explore that feminism flourishes under the play Mangalam by Poile Sengupta. I have tried to study how the male authority is secretly working to dominate the fate of women. I have tried to explore the realistic picture of women's struggle in male dominated society where violence is prevalent everywhere. The current research paper is a comprehensive study of social and mental sufferings.

Popular tree Neem (Azadirachta indica) is a member of the Meliaceae family. Many foods are prepared using bark, leaves, flowers, seeds, oil, and other materials in the Traditional System of Medicine. For pharmaceutical uses, neem has been the subject of several patent applications. The pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, and pharmacological activities that have been documented thus far are all thoroughly examined in this review. As a source of several therapeutic substances in Indian culture and a plant that thrives in tropical and semi-tropical regions, neem is the most beneficial traditional medicine. All parts of the neem tree--bark, leaves, fruits, seeds, and extracts--are utilized in traditional medicine. Its extracts are anti- inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anthelmintic, and anti-allergic. The names "free tree of India," "wonder tree," "Nature's drug store," "Village dispensary," "Divine tree," "heal all," and "Panacea of all Diseases" are also used to neem. In current times, non-toxic herbal items should be used with specific concentration to control animal and human ailments. There is much room for this amazing plant to be used more effectively.
