 Abstract

A comprehensive fire risk assessment is very important in dense urban areas to estimate the quantum risk. In this article I have calculated the fire risk in two aspects: 1. Urban infrastructure and the vacant space necessary for high rise buildings.2. Excessive expenditure on festive occasions on pandals and gates by using inflammable materials. Major fire tragedies occurred in India, a brief outline of the incident and the cause of the mishap. The tragedies have been construed as accidents and it ended with regret and compensation. Considering the high-risk urban infrastructure, the position of oil and gas pipes and electricity lines and fire safety analysis of high-rise buildings, the preparation vulnerability map is highly recommended. From the past experience, and the lapses which resulted the tragedy studied scientifically could help decision makers, urban planners, emergency managers and community organizations to plan for providing facilities and minimizing fire hazards and solve some related problems to reduce the fire risk. Moreover, the people and the implementing agencies should follow the fire safety norms meticulously to protect the precious human life.

 Abstract

Mucormycosis is an uncommon but life-threatening infection with nonspecific infection clinical manifestation that makes its diagnosis treatment difficult. Genera from the order Mucorales (Rhizopus, Mucor, Rhizomucor, Absidia, Apophysomyces) cause an Angio invasive infection called an Mucormycosis. Mucormycosis presents with rhino-orbito-cerebral, pulmonary, disseminated, cutaneous, or gastrointestinal involvement. Mucormycosis has few available treatments including Liposomal Amphotericin B, Amphotericin B Deoxycholate, Itraconazole, Posaconazole or their combination, echinocandin, Voriconazole, and herbal extracts such as Tetradine, Rhizophora mangle, Picrohiza kurrhoa, they are most widely used as antifungal agent. Mucormycosis was difficult to study on imaging study surgery plus antifungal therapy close yields greater survival rate. LAmB is formulation that results in reduce nephrotoxicity as compared with DAmB (Deoxycholate Amphotericin B) while retaining the antifungal effect of active agent. Clinical approach to diagnosis lacks sensitivity and speficity. Development of quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is promising area of ongoing research to enable more rapid diagnosis. The molecular pharmacology, preclinical, and clinical pharmacokinetics and clinical experience with LAmB for the most commonly encountered fungal pathogens are reviewed.

 Abstract

Objectives:  To assess the knowledge regarding the warning signs of renal failure among selected patients of SVIMS OPD’s.  To find out the association between the level of knowledge regarding the warning signs of renal failure with their selected socio-demographic variables among selected patients of SVIMS, OPD’s. Material and methods: Methodology: The research approach used for the present study was Cross-Sectional Descriptive Research Design. The sample of the study chosen by Non-Probability Convenience Sampling Technique, which includes 100 selected patients of SVIMS, OPD’s. A self structured questionnaire was used to collect the data which consists of 30 dichotomous questions. Results The major findings of the study was out of 100 selected patients of SVIMS, OPD’s.44% patients had moderate knowledge, 32% patients had inadequate knowledge and only 24% patients had adequate knowledge regarding warning signs of renal failure. The associations of demographic variables with the level of knowledgeon warning signs renal failure determined by using chi-square test which revealed that there was a significant association with age, gender, education, occupation, marital status, place of residence, presence of chronic illness, family history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus, history of chronic illness and duration of chronic illness regarding warning signs of renal failure. Conclusion: The study concluded that majority of Cardiology opd’s and Endocrinology opd’s patients had moderate knowledge regarding warning signs of renal failure. Hence there is a need to improve the knowledge regarding the warning signs of renal failure. So informational booklet has been given for improving knowledge.

 Abstract

Insurance acts as a fiscal backup in the time of exigency. It's a way to manage any organization or person's fiscal threat/ losses. This article attempts to give a brief overview of the insurance sector and some data regarding recent trends in the insurance sector. A threat is an event or passing which isn't planned but ultimately happens with fiscal consequences performing in a loss. It's necessary but essential. Covering the fiscal loss is necessary to reduce the liability that was caused due to the threat. That's when insurance services come into the picture. Insurance is a contract, presented by a policy, in which a policyholder receives fiscal protection against losses from an insurance company. These programs are used to hedge against the threat of big and small fiscal losses that may affect by damage. The insurance industry is changing to "digital-first" business models that have the potential to create new value worth billions of dollars. Collaboration between traditional insurance providers and those working in insurtech will lead to new business models and revenue streams, more profitability, and lower operating costs. The Internet of Things, advanced analytics, and machine learning are being used by insurers to create increasingly detailed individual risk profiles as they place an increasing emphasis on individualised premiums and usage-based coverage. A game-changing course correction that will redefine "business as usual" is already underway in the USD 5 Trillion global insurance market1. A new generation of consumers, data, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) are driving a "digital first" urgency that is sweeping the globe (AI).

 Abstract

This paper examines Preeti Shenoy's novel "Life is What You Make It" as an inspirational and motivating work and the triumph of folie for the temperament to live. She has written a lot of useful and meaningful works. Every person in life has to deal with a lot of problems, and we frequently find ourselves in such a position. which is beyond our comprehension. In this story the hero, Ankita Sharma likewise faces a defining moment which influences her life seriously. Human life is not easy; in order to survive on this planet, we sometimes have to do things that are out of our comfort zones. Ankita Sharma, a brilliant and charming young woman, suffers from bipolar disorder, which she accepts and overcomes. We will gain a better understanding of life's significance and value from this paper. When we make poor choices, we sometimes find ourselves in a position where all we can do is feel regret. Ankita just wants to be her own person, so she rejects her love. However, all of these things changed her life. However, her determination and willingness to live help her overcome her disorder. Literature has always served as a mirror for the various aspects of human existence. It encompasses all human relationships, not just those between men and women. It provides an insightful perspective on how to improve society by highlighting the various social facets of the human world. Literature not only reflects the social reality, but it also shapes the intricate ways men and women organize themselves, their interpersonal relationships, and how they see the socio-cultural reality. For survival in life, every individual requires the companionship and assistance of others. However, the existence of emotional value cannot be overlooked in the midst of all the common interests and goals. The ongoing paper highlights similar perspectives underlined by Preeti Shenoy in her one of the most amazing selling books in India. "Life is What You Make It," her second book, was one of the best-selling books in India in 2011. She has been called an expert on relationships. The purpose of this paper is to examine human relationships in the novel "Life is What You Make It" by Preeti Shenoy.
