Abstract: We are now living in a modern globalized world, in the name of development we are actually destroying all the natural resources. Environmental degradation resulted into many new situations such as human wildlife conflict.Such kind of conflict brings threat to the ecology itself, the balance between different elements of environment has to be maintained. Otherwise, it is not good for human being and also for other species. Assam is home to many endangered and less endangered animals. Rhino, Elephant, Tiger, Monkey etc. are some important animals of which Assam is famous for. But, due to negligence of human being these animals are gradually losing their habitats. And ultimately it resulted into human-wildlife conflict. Among such conflicts, human-elephant conflict is the most prominent one.Through this study, the researcher try to find out the actual picture behind human-elephant conflict and its various dimensions.

Untouchable communities, such as the chuhras, bhangis and chamars, started their struggle for liberation under the saint-poets such as Ruidas, Kabirdas and Nanakdas and soon. I, in this paper would focus on the untouchables' fight against the Zamindars and high-castes in the Colonial period. B. R. Ambedkar was one of the most outstanding politicians in India who greatly influenced the Dalit people. The main attempt has been made to trace out the contribution of Ambedkar in the context of the untouchable class uplift. Most studies of untouchable are limited to a strictly cultural framework. But this paper highlights uplift of untouchable class as essential the process of empowerment, economic, social and political, the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes in the society. Various steps have been taken the Government for the uplift of the Dalit class through reservation system. Now the question arises "how far has been it successful? This paper seeks to highlight the uplift of the untouchables in society and also its importance in the present era.

Handicrafts are special artworks that represent a country's culture and traditions. They are made by skilled artisans and are important for the economy and heritage. To help these crafts thrive, both the government and other groups that aren't part of the government (non-government organizations) work to promote them. They organize events and activities to show people how amazing these crafts are, which helps artisans earn money and keeps their traditions alive. It's really important to know if these promotional efforts are actually helping the artisans. Do the artisans feel that these activities are making more people interested in their crafts? Do they think these efforts are helping them earn a better living and keeping their traditions alive? This research is all about finding out what the artisans think. This research will look into what artisans think about the things that the government and non-government organizations do to promote their crafts. By understanding the artisans' thoughts, we want to learn more about what is working well and what could be better. The goal is to make sure that the artisans are happy with the promotional activities, and that these activities help them in their lives and careers.

Corporate social responsibility is a much-discussed concept, across the world and particularly in India, during last few years due to the mandate clause as prescribed in Companies Act 2013. The present paper is an effort to find out to the extent to which five major Maharatna Companies comply with the new CSR perspective to perform a comparative analysis of their CSR activities. This research article explores Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in Maharatna companies, including BHEL, BPCL, CIL, GAIL, and HPCL. Evaluating their initiatives in education, healthcare, environment, and community development, the study examines the impact of CSR on societal well-being. Drawing on comprehensive reports and studies, the article highlights the evolving role of CSR in these influential public sector enterprises. As India strives for sustainable development, understanding and assessing the CSR contributions of Maharatna companies becomes imperative for shaping corporate responsibility strategies and fostering positive socio-environmental change.

Generating and evaluating Metformin HCL gastroretentive tablets is the fundamental objective of this present study. Metformin HCL belongs to the biguanide class which is an oral anti- diabetic drug. It is used to treat for type-2 diabetes Metformin HCL is recognised as corresponding to class 3 in the Biopharmaceutical classification system (BSC). It is important to ensure that Metformin HCL tablets must possess low permeability and high solubility. Metformin HCL pills are produced utilising four distinct types of synthetic polymers. They are Hypromellose K6 LV, Hypromellose E15LV, Hypromellose K100MPCR, Hypromellose K100LV. These synthetic polymers will impact the buoyancy mechanism on the tablet. Metformin HCL gastroretentive tablets are prepared by using two techniques.one is wet granulation method, and another one is top spray granulation method. In this study Four formulations were prepared. After formulation of tablets should be subject to different types of evaluation tests like weight variation test, thickness, hardness, friability test, Floating Lag time, total floating time, invitro dissolution studies and kinetic drug release studies. All the results are within the limits. Formulation 2 shows the highest drug release in dissolution studies.Studies on the kinetic discharging of chemical substances have been carried out employing formulation 2, which at first was regarded as to be the optimum formulation. All the results are within the limitation and satisfactory.

Customers have always preferred herbal cosmetics because they are more strong, more widely accessible, and seen to have less adverse effects. The fastest-growing category of personal care items is herbal cosmetics. The personal care product category with the quickest rate of growth is called "cosmeceuticals." These are cosmetic preparations made with biologically active components derived from plants. The use of herbs in cosmetics has grown in popularity in recent years because of its perceived greater effectiveness, moderate action, and lower toxicity. The desire to seem attractive and beautiful created a sizable market for herbal cosmetics. The desire to appear younger than one's actual age, as well as to be lovely, youthful, attractive, and fair, has directly raised demand for herbal cosmetics and skincare products on the market. Therefore, the usage of cosmeceuticals and herbal cosmetics is overlooked in the review. It also talks about using botanicals as makeup. This might like to be used for skin care and beautifying purposes
