Worldwide, mining has become more challenging due to socioeconomic and environmental factors. In many significant mining regions, there is fierce rivalry from other land uses, and resources like water and electricity are limited. Although more people are opposing mining, they are not yet prepared to drastically curtail their usage of products made from minerals. The industry has a lot of work to do to enhance its performance and reputation. The Green Mining concept (GM) was created as a key tool to establish Finland as a leader in environmentally friendly mining. It encourages resource, water, and energy efficiency to lessen the environmental impact of the life cycles of mineral-based products. GM minimises mining waste and enables the recovery of all usable minerals. For future generations to have access to mineral resources, GM must make substantial long-term investments mineral exploration is backed by research on mineral systems, geoscientific mapping, and the creation of exploration methods. At all phases of its operations, GM strives to minimise negative environmental and social effects while maximising local benefits. GM assists in structuring the activities so that they are safe for workers, meaningful for them, and safe for the environment. GM assists in restoring the mining areas after mine closure to make them safe and, ideally, to enable various sorts of land use. Throughout the entire mining life cycle, from early prospecting on, wide-ranging participation is essential.

Education stands as a cornerstone for economic development and self-sustainability, intricately linked to growth and living standards. This holds especially true for Technical Education Systems (TES), where stakeholders--faculty, students, management, and infrastructure--play pivotal roles in ensuring efficient functionality. This study emphasizes the imperative of delivering high-quality technical education at all levels and introduces procedures to assess and enhance its standards. Drawing from extensive research using diverse methodologies, this work is grounded in a thorough literature review. Quality in technical education transcends academic culture, extending to outstanding academic results, adaptive management, clean administration, and the distinguished profiles of outgoing students. Stakeholders, including students, faculty, supporting staff, administrators, parents, government, industry, and society, bring varied expectations and perceptions, interacting with the system uniquely. Classified into input, transformation, and output stakeholders, they collectively contribute to the educational landscape. Students and parents are input stakeholders, faculty serves as transformation stakeholders, while corporations and society represent output stakeholders. The Technical Education System (TES) aims to develop methodologies that not only improve education quality but also establish a novel system tailored to its unique requirements. The study delves into identifying critical factors, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and ultimately creating a framework that ensures the continual improvement and monitoring of technical education quality

Background: Catheter associated Urinary tract infection (CAUTI) is the most common among the device associated infections acquired from the hospital settings. Among hospital acquired UTIs, approximately 75% are associated with a urinary-catheters. Between 15-25% of hospitalized patients receive urinary catheters during their hospital stay leading to Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI) where care bundles are not practiced. Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) according to the center of disease control and prevention (CDC) is defined as UTI where an indwelling urinary catheter was in place for more than two calendar days on the date of event (day 1 being the day of device placement).

A multidisciplinary approach of all arts and sciences in the world leads to unity in diversity among the humans towards our nature. Every particle in this universe is filled with some energy. If there is a lord, there is a demon. If there is a woman, there is a man. If there is a left, there is a right. If there is true, there is a false. If there is birth, there is death. Accepting only the value of positivity, negativity and neutrality brings harmony in the world.

To cure or eradicate any disease, the treatment involves many factors. According to Ayurveda, they are collectively termed as Chikitsa chatushpada (four pillars of treatment). Bheshaja (medicine / drug) is the 2nd pillar mentioned next to Bhishag (Physician). This medicine can be of any origin or form depending upon the need. It also means that major disease does not always need big, complicated or costly medicines. Sometimes, the medicine can be simple too. However, due to common misconception, we underestimate the potential of simple and easily available drug in its therapeutic as well as preventive aspect. Doorva is one of such medicinal plants which is abundantly available almost everywhere and should not be underestimated. Doorva is addressed in Ayurvedic Treatises by different names like Shataveerya (a drug with 100 properties/ uses), Sahasraveerya (a drug with 1000 properties/ uses) etc. that exhibits its potential candidature in therapeutics. Doorva is used not only in treating general systemic, psychological, psychosomatic diseases but also as a prophylactic drug in altered physiological conditions like pregnancy. Its medicinal uses can be traced as far as Vedic era due to which it has earned its place in "REVERED PLANTS". It can be comprehended that the physical properties of Doorva like its Rasa (taste), Veerya (potency), Vipaka (effect after digestion) bring about the reverse changes in the Samprapti (pathogenesis) where the involved Sharira Bhavas (physical components of the body) are Pitta Pradhan (fire element dominant).

Solar energy is an excellent source of alternative energy because it is renewable, economical and does not pollute the environment. Solar energy also helps to stabilise energy prices and give numerous social, environmental and economic benefits. This has been indicated by solar energy's contribution in achieving sustainable development through meeting energy demands, creating jobs and protecting the environment. However the crux of the issue is financing of solar energy projects. Karnataka is leading in solar energy production with positive implications for economic development and sustainable development. The success of these depends on mobilization of financial resources and exploring new funding options. Hence, this study attempts to examine all these issues. In this context this paper is an attempt to examine policy environment and sources of financing of solar energy development in Karnataka.

One of the best Australian writers of the 20th century is Thea Astley, a four-time winner of the Miles Franklin Award. Focusing on depicting the lonely, marginalized, and outsiders is one of her works' major topics. The final book written by Astley is Drylands. The chapter "Taking Five" examines the impact of domestic violence on victims' mental health and well-being. It explores how prolonged exposure to abuse can lead to depression, anxiety disorders, and even suicidal tendencies. Additionally, it discusses the intergenerational cycle of violence perpetuated within families affected by domestic abuse. It represents women's desire to reject old gender norms and discover their own freedom and dignity in gender and family relationships, as well as Astley's severe denunciation of patriarchy
