COMPARATIVE STUDY ON SPEED AND AGILITY BETWEEN INDIGENOUS AND NON-INDIGENOUS GAME PLAYERS IN BIRBHUM Himlu Chowdhury1; Dr. Ashok Kr. Goon2 Research scholar DPESS visva- bharati1; Professor DPESS Visva-bharati2 ABSTRACT Background: There are a considerable number of published studies related to the kinanthropometric and physiological variables but there is little data on the motor performance of soccer players in Bolpur region according to playing level. Purpose of the study: The purpose of the present study was to compare the speed and agility between indigenous and non-indigenous game players in birbhum. Method and Design: For the purpose of these study forty (40) male players was selected, twenty (20) from the indigenous sport kho-kho and twenty (20) from by non-indigenous sport football who represent different competition at subdivision, district & state level have been selected randomly. Their age ranged between 14 to 16 years. The study was conducted only on the male players. For the present study the chosen variables were speed and agility and for the collection of the data the following tests were used: 20 meter sprint for measured the speed and arrowhead agility test for measured the agility. To determine the differences, if any, the independent t-test was calculated. The data was processed by means of the MS Excel Data Analysis tool pack. Result & Discussion: That insignificant difference exists between the group when compared with speed (p= 0.25), agility (p=1.67), the finding of the present study was that significant differences were absent between the two groups i.e. indigenous and non-indigenous players. Conclusion: The study suggested that there are significant differences were absent between the two groups i.e. indigenous and non-indigenous players. .

Charles Dickens keeps on being one of the most broadly read Victorian (nineteenth-century) authors. Miser, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, and Nicholas Nickelby stay natural characters today. His books portray the life and states of poor people and common laborers in the Victorian period of England, when individuals lived by exacting rules. His first novel, The Pickwick Papers, turned into a tremendous mainstream achievement when Dickens was just 25, and he was an artistic big name all through England for the rest of his life.Charles Dickens keeps on being one of the most broadly read Victorian (nineteenth-century) authors. Handling the advancing COVID-19 pandemic requires a multidimensional methodology. The governments, health sector, community as well as every individual have a vital task to tackle the transmission of disease. Medical services experts should be prepared in the clinical administration of this quickly spreading viral disease; in order to empower them to swiftly recognize and treat every single contaminated person. It is of principal significance that medical services experts are effectively associated with contamination control and given satisfactory individual defensive gear to shield themselves as well as those encompassing them too. As far as treatment is concerned, several vaccines are undergone clinical investigation phase; out of which some have shown promising results during trial and are about to available for everyone within short period of time.

The first COVID 19 positive incidence was reported on 9th March 2020 in the Indian State of Maharashtra. At present, the Maharashtra state became an epicenter of the COVID 19. So far, more than 11 lakh people were affected, and out of which, 7.75 lakh were recovered in the Maharashtra State. The COVID 19 situation in the Kolhapur district is also worst; it has reported 34482 cases, 1036 casualties, and 23785 recovered patients. Initially, the cases were reported in urban areas of the district, later on, it started spreading rapidly in the rural area. The district administrations strictly took up the lockdown, Janta curfew, and other measures, and they humbly attempted to control the rapid spreading of COVID 19. During this peak phase of COVID 19, all the economic activities of the district have been shrinking which resulted in an increasing rate of unemployment on one hand and reducing the income on the other hand. Especially, small, medium and village cottage industries are major sufferers of this pandemic. The village economy of the district has disrupted adversely. The farmers, agricultural laborers, daily wage workers, small storekeepers, street vendors, and women workers are affected very badly. The village economy of the district especially the rural household sector highly depends on microfinance. Self-help groups and farmer's clubs mainly depend on the supply of microfinance. Microfinance institutions in the Kolhapur district are playing a very significant role in poverty eradication, employment generation, women's economic empowerment and overall improving the socio-economic conditions of the deprived segment of the society through offering easy credit access. The overall activities of the microfinance institutions i.e recovery mechanism, sources of finance, monitoring and inspections, etc. are almost stopped in the district since March 2020. The pandemic ending point is still unpredictable which will further affect the working of microfinance institutions in the district. Under this backdrop, the very first aim of the present investigation is to study the issues faced by the microfinance institutions in the district during this pandemic and secondly to study prospects of microfinance in the district. The study was carried out in August 2020 and 19 financial institutions were selected for precise study. The entire study was based on primary data collected from the questionnaire. The study found that all the sample 19 financial institutions are badly suffered and experienced heavy financial loss during this pandemic.

ABSTRACT Incidence and extent of typhoid fever was conducted based on the samples collected from the patients attending general hospital of Geidam Yobe state, Nigeria and Jibo Rahama medical laboratory. Widal blood test and rapid slide titration method was used in this research work for typhoid fever injection diagnosis by putting the blood sample collected in the EDTA container, then it was place in a test tube and spinned in centrifuge machine at 1000rpm (revolution per minute) for 5 minute where it separated the serum from blood. An eight (8) drops of serum was place on a clean white tiles separately, eight drops of widal antigens was dropped respectively. Mixture was mixed to give homogenous solution and the tile was rotated at least for 5 to 10 minutes, the reaction was observed visually. Out of the 24 samples collected, nine (9) were tested positive and it was more prevalent between the age classes: 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 and 30 -40. It was observed that two (2) out of the nine patients are male while seven (7) were female, and this suggest that typhoid fever is more prevalent in female sex than in male sex. However, it should be noted that in this study there were more female patients than male therefore, valid conclusion cannot be made regarding the sex which suffers more. In a nutshell, improper sanitation is responsible for the wide spread of typhoid fever in most localities in developing countries like Nigeria, because the species that cause typhoid fever breed well in an unsanitary practice in preparation of food and drinks with water contaminated with fecal matter. It is known that the symptoms of typhoid fever mimics those of malaria fever, therefore proper investigation should be carried out before medication.

This paper reveals that medical students encounter multiple emotions in transformation from insecure students to young knowledgeable physicians, leading to a growing concern about psychological distress in medical training. Torturous admission protocols, portions beyond horizons, new skills to be mastered, expectations of family members, competition and the uncertainty involved about the future comprise a few among the background stressors. The objective was to study stress, depression and anxiety in medical students in comparison with engineering students. A cross-sectional study was conducted comparing perceived stress, depression and anxiety among 150 medical and 150 engineering students selected through randomized sampling. Perceived Stress Scale, Zung depression and Zung anxiety scales were administered to the selected students. Seventy-two percentage of medical students perceived moderate and high levels of stress compared to 56.7% of engineering students in this study. Overall prevalence of depression was higher among medical students (20.6%) compared to engineering students (15.3%). Anxiety was also higher among medical students (19.4%) compared to engineering students (11.3%). Medical students perceived more stress when compared to engineering students. Rates of depression and anxiety were also higher among them. Stress interventional strategies need to be designed to improve the psychological wellbeing of the students and consequently improve the doctor patient relationship. This study suggests to promote stress management modalities early in the medical career.
