Introduction: Laparotomy wounds in patients with peritonitis have a high risk of wound dehiscence. Wound healing disorders, often occur in peritonitis conditions, could result from a relative zinc deficiency in peritonitis conditions. Zinc concentrations in the blood of septic subjects were often found to be low due to peripheral redistribution of zinc to the liver. Methods: This research was a randomized experimental research. A total of 36 male rabbits were induced to peritonitis by injecting 4ml/KgBW 10% autologous faecal solution and after six hours underwent exploratory laparotomy. The treatment group was then given zinc syrup supplementation of 10ml/KgBW per day for up to 5 days postoperatively. Wound healing was observed histopathologically with Hematoxylin Eosin and Masson Trichrome staining. Results: More mature granulation tissue was found in the treatment group (mann whitney p=0.025), with higher collagen density (mann whitney p=0.039) and better re-epithelialization (mann whitney p=0.043). However, there was no significant difference between acute inflammation (mann whitney p=0.097), chronic inflammation (mann whitney p=0.507), granulation thickness (mann whitney p=0.735), and neovascularization (mann whitney p=1.0) in both groups. Further research would be needed to determine the mechanism by which zinc affects wound healing in peritonitis

Aim: The present work pursues to synthesize Silver Nanoparticles (AgNPs) from aqueous leaf extract of Ficus mollis Vahl. and their microbial efficacy. Methods: The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by using UV-Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) with EDAX, and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope). Results: The colour change from light brown to dark brown is observed upon synthesis and the peak obtained at 444 nm with UV-Vis Surface Plasmon resonance (SPR) analysis confirmed the synthesis of nanoparticles are silver nanoparticles. FTIR analysis confirms that phenols and proteins of leaf extract are generally responsible for the capping and stabilization of green synthesized silver nanoparticles. Crystallographic analysis of XRD denotes, the AgNPs are crystalline. SEM revealed that the nanoparticles are spherical and their size ranges from 22.0 to 38.6 nm. EDAX pattern of biosynthesized nanoparticles showed a 1.44 weight percentage of Ag metal. TEM microscopic analysis divulges that the nanoparticles are spherical with sizes ranging from 8.36 to 23.11 nm. Antimicrobial analysis of the synthesized AgNPs exhibited a toxic effect on selected Bacteria. Conclusion: It denotes that aqueous leaf extract of Ficus mollis is preferable for synthesizing stable AgNPs and to formulate eminent antibacterial agents.

One of the viruses that infects both animals and humans is the coronavirus, a group of viruses belonging to the family of Coronaviridae. The symptoms of COVID-19 are always variable, but often include fever, cough, headache, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, also loss of smell and taste. Emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants are of particular concern, as they can affect the viability of the virus and its pathogenesis, as well as the effectiveness of diagnostic devices and vaccine effects. Although the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant (B.1.617.2) emerged during the second wave of infection in India, this type of delta has become very dominant internationally and is still evolving in other countries to its potential. The WHO recognized B.1.1.529 as a type of anxiety on November 26, 2021, and renamed it Omicron. Based on some evidence, it has been suggested that omicron mutates in a number of ways, which can affect its overall behavior.

Phytochemicals derived from the secondary metabolites has been emerged out as a source of drugs in Pharmaceutical Industry. These Plant constituents are playing an important role as a therapeutic agents in many diseases. One of the several family of the Plant kingdom, family Bignoniaceae has been of great importance of which many chemical constituents like naphthoquinones, of the lapachol type, iridoid glucosides, alkaloids, flavones, triterpenes, polyphenols, tannins and seed oils Pyrostegia venusta (Ker Gawl.) Miers, a popular ornamental plant is cultivated throughout the tropics, and is native to the Brazil. In the traditional Brazilian medicine, the aerial parts of Pyrostegia venusta are used as infusion or decoction and administered orally as a general tonic, as well as a treatment for diarrhoea, vitiligo, cough, and common diseases of the respiratory system related to infections, such as bronchitis, flu and cold. So the present work focuses on different Pharmacological actions of the chemical constituents present in Pyrostegia venusta.

This paper is an endeavor to analyse the Elizabethan and Modern tragedies from an exceedingly post-modern perspective. Elizabethan tragedies deal with the Mystery, Miracle, and morality plays which focus on a way to live and the way to not live by following the holy books of the respective cultures. Modern tragedies which influenced war, industrialization, searching the meaning of life, the anxiety of individual success changes the plot construction of the tragedies. The hamartia undergone by the heroes differs. This paper attempts to review the weather of tragedy in Elizabethan and Modern tragedies in a very post-modern perspective.
