The field of medicine and missionary work in Africa have been profoundly touched by the life and works of pioneering missionary physician - Helen Roseveare. This essay examines Roseveare's all-encompassing method of treatment, highlighting her dedication to fusing spiritual ministry with medicine. The research emphasizes her creative approaches to meeting the material and spiritual needs of the communities she served, drawing on her vast experiences in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Roseveare's focus on empowerment, education, and community involvement is discussed as a paradigm for modern missionaries and healthcare professionals. The research paper shows how her approach not only improved individual lives but also generated sustainable community development by examining her writings and the results of her medical endeavours. In the end, the study highlights how important Roseveare's legacy is to contemporary medicine and how her legacy challenges contemporary professionals to adopt a more integrated and compassionate approach, bridging the gap between medicine and mission in a manner that respects both practice and patient sovereignty.

Cancer is defined as a group of symptoms associated with unconditional & uncontrolled cell division with possibility of proliferation to other parts of body. There are no exact signs or symptoms that define Cancers other than failure to respond to the standard treatment for a particular disease, unexplainable loss of weight, failure to thrive. Weight loss is also associated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy for cancer treatment. The weight loss and failure to thrive is also explained in Rajayakshma in Charaka Samhita. Here we contemplate use of Mustydi Yapana Basti (MYB) as a way to reverse Anuloma Dhatukshayajanya Rajayakshma.

Pedestrian delay is one of the concerning or related topics to pedestrian behavior at signalized intersections. When people try to cross the road, they may maintain the traffic signal and may not follow for some reasons. Those are there is a chance may be more crowded while crossing the road or maybe they are using mobile phones or maybe they are carrying more language with them. So, these all are having the chance of pedestrian delay. But the main problem is when serious accidents happen due to the delay of pedestrians, at that time, it is required to identify whose mistake it is and the reason behind that. Apart from that to reduce the crossing time or to save time, people sometimes do not follow the traffic signals also and this one more observed in teenagers. The majority of delays were decreased by those who started crossing during the flashing Don't Walk phase, even though only a minor portion of delays were reduced by beginning to cross when the signal was formally red. Compared to the number of people who would have arrived at the curb at the same time if arrivals were random, fewer pedestrians approached crosswalks during the flashing Don't Walk phases. Some pedestrians are expected to move quickly to enter during the flashing Don't Walk phase instead of waiting for the next Walk time. To provide a more accurate evaluation of pedestrian delay at signalized crossings, a delay equation was updated. Here the author created a model which can analyze pedestrian behavior and calculate the delay time based on the behavior of the pedestrian by using deep learning and open CV techniques. For that, the author collected the data through different live video footage of pedestrians from different sites and locations. Here the author focuses more on the school and bus station zones because these areas have more chances to delay due to the language carriage, college or university zones, and many more.

Significant differences and structural inequities originating from cultural, social, and legal norms have historically defined the status of women in India with regard to property rights. Women have historically had limited inheritance rights because patriarchal systems give preference to male heirs when it comes to property transmission. An important piece of Indian legislation, the Hindu Succession Act 1956, sought to codify the laws governing inheritance among Hindus, including Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs. Notwithstanding its goal of offering a consistent structure for property succession, the Act has historically mirrored societal patriarchal standards, frequently sustaining gender inequality. In an important step toward gender equality, the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005, intended to redress these disparities by giving girls the same rights as males in ancestral property. The Hindu Succession Act's development, its effect on gender differences in property rights, the efficacy of the 2005 revision, and the continued difficulties and ramifications for Indian women are all covered in detail in this abstract. In interpreting and upholding the provisions of the revised Act, the judiciary has been instrumental. Setting precedents for future disputes and resolving uncertainties have been facilitated by landmark cases. Legal aid groups and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have played a significant role in supporting individuals attempting to assert their property rights and in promoting women's inheritance rights. The historical background, significant clauses, and effects of these legislative amendments are examined in this research study, along with the difficulties and ongoing problems in putting gender-equitable property rights into practice. The several laws pertaining to this problem will also be covered in this paper, along with several important rulings such as Vineeta Sharma and Prafulla. The primary goal of the research is to increase our understanding of the subject. The measures to address and deal with the issue of gender disparity will also be covered in this article.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive condition that poses significant public health challenges, affecting over 10% of the adult population worldwide. This study explores examining etiopathogenesis of CKD through the lens of Ayurveda, to facilatate a appropraite treatment regimen in an efficient patient care. CKD is characterized by a gradual decline in kidney function, typically marked by a decrease in glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and proteinuria. The absence of direct references to CKD in classical Ayurvedic texts necessitates an understanding of the disease through its related concepts--Nidan (aetiology), Lakshan (signs), and Samprapti (pathogenesis). CKD symptoms develop insidiously, with advanced stages presenting as dyspnoea, peripheral oedema, and fatigue. The study identifies prodromal symptoms and establishes clinical correlations with Ayurvedic concepts, enabling a comprehensive understanding of CKD's progression. Our analysis reveals that CKD corresponds to the vitiation of Meda (fat) and Rakta (blood) dhatus, influenced by unhealthy dietary habits and lifestyle choices, leading to the dysfunction of Mutravaha srotas (urinary channels). The pathogenesis involves imbalances in the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), with a notable predominance of Vata, causing srotorodha (obstruction of channels) and consequent renal impairment. This research emphasizes the importance of addressing dietary and lifestyle factors in managing CKD. Proposed Ayurvedic treatments focus on enhancing digestive fire, balancing doshas, promoting diuresis, and ensuring srotosodhana (cleansing of channels). By integrating Ayurvedic principles into contemporary medical frameworks, we aim to provide a holistic approach to CKD management, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

This study presents a comparative analysis of Khajuraho temple architecture, located in Madhya Pradesh, and Orissa temple architecture. Both architectural styles emerged during medieval India and represent unique religious and cultural traditions. The objective of this research is to explore the similarities and differences in design, iconography, and construction techniques between the two. Methodologically, this study draws upon historical sources, architectural surveys, and field observations. The findings indicate that while both styles follow the broader Nagara style of North Indian temples, Khajuraho emphasizes intricate erotic sculptures and dynamic figurative art, whereas Orissa temples prioritize spiritual symbolism with towering rekha deuls and restrained carvings. This comparative study sheds light on the diverse regional expressions of Indian temple architecture and its significance in understanding the subcontinent's cultural and religious history.
