 Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is defined as an integrated part of the future Internet, which ensures that `things' with identities can communicate with each other. IoT will be applied in different areas, e.g. smart cities, agriculture, energy, environment protection, health, home automation, etc. different their architectures are based on the applications. Here an advanced monitoring and tracking system is proposed and this tracking system is designed to monitor the Train from any location A to location B at real time. The system works on Global Positioning System (GPS) for realtime tracking and monitoring mechanism. The GPS gives current location of the train and it can be viewed from the freeboard. Freeboard is an opensource dashboard for sharing and monitoring data. Thus any one from any corner of the world can access the location information of the train using an IoT platform.

 Abstract

Women's economic condition in nations like India is appalling, especially in rural areas where they have little options to earn money and are denied economic independence on a social and cultural level. The Self Help Groups (SHGs) have paved the way for the economic independence of rural women. Women Entrepreneurs play an important role in the present economy. Through the process of entrepreneurship, one person might become self-employed and give other people a job. Lack of financial and familial support, marketing, knowledge, suitable training, proper education, mobility, and other issues are common for women business owners. They were compelled to run a business because it was not something they wanted to do. In light of the several steps the Indian government has taken, under which NABARD has given them access to microloans and improve economic status. The provision of adequate microfinance in time to the women folk for their personal needs, the family and income generating activity by reliable agencies would naturally generate confidence and zeal among them for the performance of their activities. It is based on the recognition that the ability of the poor women for entrepreneurship could be encouraged with the availability of small-scale loans. There are several ways of microfinance provided by the government among which the most popular is Self Help Groups (SHGs).This paper reviews concisely the literature in this field and addresses particularly role of entrepreneurs in promoting Women.

 Abstract

Water is an important source for sustaining life and livestock, which requires being properly used, developed and managed. India is not a water-deficient country, but its growing demand for water makes it vulnerable, and by 2050 it will become the highest water-demanding country with a daily demand of 2413 billion litres per capita at the global level. In 1951, India's water per capita availability was 5177 cm per year, decreasing to 1820 cm in 2001. India's water per capita availability will be 1341 cm per year in 2025 and 1140 cm per year in 2050. In India, 43.5 percent of drinking water requirement is being fulfilled by tap water, 42 percent by handpump/tubewell sources, 11 percent by well and 3.5 percent by other sources. Inadequate use of water resources is an important feature of Uttar Pradesh which pushed many regions in the state into dry and rain-fed zones. The state is also the largest extractor of groundwater, accounting for 18.4 percent of the country's groundwater and 5.4 percent of the world's groundwater. The per capita groundwater extraction is 225.0 cm per capita which are more than the national average of 182.9 cm per capita and the world average of 125.9 cm per capita. In Uttar Pradesh, 67.9 percent of water drinking requirements are fulfilled by handpumps or tubewells, 27.3 percent by tap water, 4 percent by well and 0.9 percent by other sources. It has also been observed that the majority of the development blocks have overexploited the groundwater resources in which some development blocks become more critical while some other blocks come under the semi-critical zones. This may be due to rapid population growth, urbanization, higher dependency on groundwater for agriculture, fast-growing manufacturing units, and a change in temporal and spatial variation due to climate change and ineffective management of water resources.

 Abstract

Microencapsulation is a well-established process of enveloping or surrounding one substance into another substance which gives pills having range from a good deal much less than one micron to severa hundred microns in size. One of the relatively inexperienced method is microencapsulation. The encapsulation potency of microcapsules, Microspheres rely upon various factors like solubility of polymer in solvent, concentration of polymer, solubility of herbal solvent in water, rate of solvent removal etc. Substances can be encapsulated in such a way that the core material be confined within tablet shells (coating material) for particular interval of time. This approach has been used in amazing fields like pharmaceutical, agriculture, textile, food, printing and defence. In this paper, various threats over IoT will be explored and a security solution against denial of service (DoS) attack will be presented for reliable and secure communication over IoT. Its performance will also be measured using various parameters (Throughput/Routing Load/Packet Delivery Ratio/Energy Consumption).
