Honey bees are highly important insects in the world which are known for their honey, wax, and other hive products and pollination of many crops around which human nutrition revolves. The decline in the bee population globally has been attributed to many factors interactive with each other. The greater wax moth in most honeybee colonies, Galleria mellonella Linnaeus, is a ubiquitous insect. In the midrib of the honeybee comb, the greater wax moth larvae build tunnels through the surface of both the pollen bee brood and honey unsealed cells. Crawling larvae leave underneath web masses that induce galleries and subsequent colonies to be expelled. In especially tropical and subtropical zones, larvae are drastic and are considered to be one of the factors contributing to the significant reduction of both wild and protected honeybee colonies. In bee colonies, the insect was historically considered a problem, but most experiments have relied on the pest as a framework for in vivo toxicology and pathogenicity experiments. It’s quite effectively widespread, significant concern has been raised for further research findings to determine time-integrated management approaches. Furthermore, our understanding of this pest is very less. This review gives an overview of the latest understanding of the importance of resource loss to biology and the possibilities for management.

Abstract: The attempt is to make a comparative study of the predicaments of Hamlet in William Shakespeares Hamlet and Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita. It is an interesting exercise to re-read Shakespeares Hamlet in the light of the Gita to trace the homogeneous elements, similar philosophical undertones and the subtle difference in the characters that help them retain the identity and uniqueness.

ABSTRACT We have studied the characterization of fabrication of silicon nanowires on thermoelectric material. We have presented the thermoelectric enhancement properties of SIC nanowires on graphite electrode.Thermoelectric properties of composite electrode by fabricating SIC nanowires is charecterised by its fig. of merit ZT, which depends upon thermal as well as electric conductivity of metarial. Normally the thermoelectric fig. of merit ZT, remained stuck in the range of 0?116, however experimental studies have shown that the value of ZT can be significant ally improved by incorporating nanowires into a material structure. We have seen that the dynamic behavior of electrodes in furnaces, shows unexpected rupture, so we have studied the fabrication of SIC nanowires, which has enhanced the thermoelectric properties. The capacity of composite anode is approximately 2.7 times greater than the equivalent graphite electrode and the reversible capacity is approx. 1.8 times greater. The reduced size and dimension of the nanowire increases the influence of the surface, leading to a significant modification of the vibrational properties by increasing the surface scattering phonons, which decreases the thermal conductivity and increasing the thermoelectric fig. of merit ZT.SIC nanowire is pursued for its high temp. Application, this model also emphasis on wide-band gap, of sic nanowires, thus need to operate under extreme conditions.

Education is empowerment. Teacher education has always been a crucial symbolically significant of education development. The strength and quality of any profession largely depends on how it manages the three stages of preparation, induction and ongoing development of its members. Implementation of Continuous and comprehensive evaluation of (CCE) in schools in the current scenario, in Tamil Nadu demands teacher development programmes which could develop the right kind of skills, attitudes, values and creative potentialities among the teachers. As the result of the curricular revision, the emerging new text books, and the implementation of CCE at the elementary level, SCERT in collaboration with British Council and Hornby Education Trust planned to prepare the Trainers manual for the Teacher development programme - CCE theory into practice The present study The effectiveness Teacher Development programme, CCE theory into practice focuses on the impact evaluation of this quality initiative. The communicative competence of student teachers and their proficiency in English is enhanced through the quality intervention given by British council, Chennai. It enhanced the teachers communication skill in English and helped them attain excellence and improved their self esteem which in turn enhanced motivation and confidence among the students. So the focus was on empowering the teachers/student teachers in order to meet the challenges of the new curriculum in the context of CCE. Programme evaluation is a systematic assessment of a programme/intervention/quality initiative to know whether it is working as intended or yield outcomes of interest. The key stakeholders were interviewed and program theory was evolved. Subsequently Evaluation questions were identified. Logic model was framed with the relationships between the resources, activities, outputs and outcomes of the program. Randomized design with counterfactual and with baseline was made. This design is more appropriate as it precisely answers the evaluation question how effective was the training in improving awareness and competencies of teachers. The difference the pretest post test scores of experimental group is compared with the difference in the scores of pre and posttest of control group. The experimental groups posttest mean score is significantly higher than the control groups posttest mean score. Therefore, it is concluded that the Treatment (TDP) for enhancing the level of confidence and the questioning skill of student teachers for CCE is more effective. The results of the program evaluation were shared with the stakeholders of the evaluation. Education is empowerment. In this paper, a brief review of Artificial Neural Network or ANN in the field of Artificial Intelligence is represented. As artificial neural structure is inspired from the biological neuron that is responsible for transformation of signals in human brain, is explained in this paper. ANN is the network models that make machines more intelligent to act more likely or equal to human beings. The most common choice of leading ANN is the decision-making quality. They are adaptive learning models that work on prior data sets. Biological neuron model plays a vital role in the working guidance of ANNs. The approach of these networks is heading more day by day.

The study provides an overview of types of artificial sweeteners, sweeteners history, chemical structure, biological fate, physiological effects. At present the sugar free foods are very much popular because of their less calorie content. So the food industry uses various artificial sweeteners which are low in calorie instead of high calorie sugar. A sweet taste is innate and sweeteners can increase the preference and pleasure of eating. Nutritive sweeteners contain carbohydrates and provide energy. They occur in natural food (or) maybe added in food processing (or) by consumers before consumptions. Non-nutritive sweeteners, substituted in nutritive sweeteners may help consumers limit energy and carbohydrate intake as a strategy to manage blood glucose (or) weight. Artificial sweeteners are intensity sweets so small amount are required to imitate sugars sweet taste.

Girish Karnad is a contemporary Indian Playwright who is known for writing plays in Kannada and English. He has written many plays in which Tughlaq, Hayavadana and Naga-Mandala are perhaps his best known works. He draws plots from history, myth and folklore and composes plays on contemporary issues. Tughlaq is a historical play that is based on the life of 14th century historical personality Muhammad bin Tughlaq. It presents political reality of sixties. Hayavadana is based on Transposed Heads of Thomas Mann. Naga-Mandala is his mythical play. Karnad accepts," Naga-Mandala is based on two oral tales from Karnataka which I first heard several years ago from Professor A. K . Ramanujan. These tales are narrated by women -normally older women in the family- while chilren are being fed in the evening in the kitchen or being put to bed. The other adults parents on these occasions are also women. Therefore these tales, though directed at the children, often serve as a open system of communication among the women in the family."( Author's Introduction. Karnad Three Plays:16-17) This play is full of mythical elements and this paper will try to find out the applied myths in it.
